Chapter 1172: Chapter 876: Sea Demon
The Aztec Immortal clearly suppressed his own power, but still, the explosion created a scorching Light Sphere with a diameter of ten thousand meters, shaking the entire earth. Su Yu dragged An Xue, feeling the deep pits and giant walls around them continually trembling, massive rocks breaking and falling with a "rushing" sound, and dark fissures spreading out from the deep walls.
The colossal monster that had been hit by the Aztec Immortal Tlorlok was an enormous spherical creature, with a body diameter that exceeded a shocking thirteen hundred meters, covered with tumor-like mounds as large as hills, and countless tentacles sprawled in between each mound. When each tentacle unfolded, it could reach hundreds or even thousands of meters in length.
It was this massive beast that had released wave after wave of energy, initially paralyzing dozens of Immortals from various clans, preventing them from charging into the pit until Tlorlok arrived. With a punch that included one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two energy impacts, the gigantic creature burst into a terrifying roar. Within the explosion of the Light Sphere with a diameter of ten thousand meters, the massive beast’s body began to fragment and collapse, with its kilometer-long tentacles being disintegrated, snapped, and vanishing in the massive explosion...
Quickly, the massive beast exploded entirely, turning into ash and vanishing without a trace.
The Immortals from various clans were desperately fending off tentacles swinging from all directions. These tentacle monsters clung to the deep walls, sporting roots-like tentacles of varying lengths; they could also release a considerable amount of stinking poison. Su Yu, pulling An Xue, kept swinging his arms, slicing through the air with raging windstorms.
An Xue’s Second Level Totem powers were almost like paper mache here, easily crushed. Without Su Yu’s protection, she wouldn’t need to be attacked by anyone else; the chaotic battle’s energy impacts alone could easily rip her to shreds.
Su Yu swung his left arm, transforming into a ten-meter Golden Giant, though his body became quite grotesque due to the disappearance of most of his bones. At this moment, he was unwilling to use the power of the Phantom behind him. Relying solely on his own strength to protect An Xue here was proving somewhat strenuous.
After the Aztec Immortal obliterated the spherical monster blocking the pit, he flew straight towards the depths without a word. The Immortals from various clans followed suit and chased after him.
Su Yu, pulling An Xue, finally couldn’t resist quietly activating the power of his Giant Will. He immediately repelled the root-like tentacles stretching towards them and, with a "whoosh," dashed downwards with An Xue in tow.
Flying downward, the pit had a diameter of about ten thousand meters, so deep that the bottom couldn’t be seen. The further down they went, the darker and colder it became, faintly emanating an indescribable aura of terror. Eventually, this terrifying presence turned viscous, visible to the naked eye, and countless tentacle monsters attached themselves to the deep walls. Every Immortal was supporting an energy shield, desperately rushing further in.
Despite the increasingly terrifying atmosphere below, everyone vaguely sensed that something shocking and secretive was hidden at the bottom, along with a huge opportunity.
The rumors of the Tomb of the True God, Divine Being Qualification, and True Divine Weapon surged into the minds of all the great Immortals. They all felt their blood boiling.
Meanwhile, at this part of the Grand Canyon pit, Immortals from various clans continued to appear and immediately charged into the hole once they saw it.
"Da Huang, is this the interesting place you were talking about?" A crack appeared in the void, and suddenly, a cute-looking little girl walked out from it.
Following close behind was a golden skeleton with flames kindling within its golden eye sockets. From afar, it stared at the deep pit with a diameter of ten thousand meters and chuckled, "Feng’er, let’s go down and have a look. This place is quite strange, and who knows, we might even bump into your big brother."
Upon hearing that she might meet her big brother, Feng’er’s spirits lifted, and she hurriedly said, "Da Huang, then let’s go take a look."
The Golden Skeleton took Feng’er’s hand and slowly descended above the pit, looking down to see countless tentacles waving below. Extending its right hand, a dark crack slowly opened up in the void next to it, and a golden light shone from within.
The Golden Bone of the Golden Skeleton reached into the crack and retracted, this time holding a huge Golden Sickle.
With a grin that seemed like a silent laugh, the Golden Skeleton, holding Feng’er’s hand, suddenly descended. Countless tentacles were slashed at them, and it swung the Golden Sickle through the void, towards the bottom.
With a "boom," the entire void seemed split open by a dark fissure, and tentacles instantly snapped. The Golden Sickle turned into a giant Golden Sphere that protected both the skeleton and Feng’er, rapidly shooting down towards the bottom.
Su Yu, pulling An Xue, quietly released the power of his Giant Will, continuing to descend. Before long, a long howl from the Aztec Tlorlok echoed from below, followed by earth-shattering roars like thunder, shaking the pit’s world.
A terrifying and eerie aura arose from the depths of the pit, where clusters of frightful green eyes lit up. Su Yu instinctively felt an impending terror attack.
With a low howl, Su Yu held nothing back, activating the phantom of six dragons and six wings on his back. A phantom dragon arm blasted into the darkness.
A thunderous "boom" shook the heaven and earth as a familiar aura was released. Deep within the pit, the Immortal Tlorlok of the Aztec let out a light gasp, suddenly catching the familiar aura. He instantly recognized it as the presence of the entity with six dragons and six wings he had battled with.
But now, in this indescribable perilous place, even Tlorlok, mighty as he was, did not have the time to deal with the presence of six dragons and six wings. Instead, he unleashed a series of punches downwards.
One after another, explosion waves bright like little suns lit up, illuminating the dark abyss. Horrifying roars intertwined with bursts of green giant glows either lighting up or bursting. Following that, Tlorlok felt a heavy blow strike his back.
The terror of this blow even surpassed the existence of a "middle-tier Immortal," and even Tlorlok’s back muscles split open immediately, spewing out a large amount of Golden Juice.
His body, like a meteor flung across the sky, smashed into a distant stone wall, creating a huge crater in the pit. Tentacle-like protrusions from the crater walls tightly entwined around him, but Tlorlok roared and shook his arms and immediately, the tentacles snapped one by one.
The Bimon Ancestor wholly displayed his strongest physique, countless blue veins swirling and fusing, transforming into one of the two invincible giant beasts of the mythological era—the "Bimon beast."
The Bimon beast roared like thunder, hailed as one of the two invincible giant beasts created by the God of the mythological era and only God himself could slay it. One of these beasts ruled over all the lands, the other over all the oceans.
Among them, the one ruling the land was the "Bimon beast."
It was by chance that the Bimon Ancestor received the entire vital energy left by the Bimon beast, which allowed him to achieve immortal existence. Now, as he fully exerted the power of the Bimon beast, his strength elevated to the peak of a junior-tier Immortal, merely a step away from entering the middle-tier Immortality.
The giant beast spanned the sky; its blue-veined giant tail swept across, and immediately, "pop pop pop," chunks of earth and rock burst, crumbling and tumbling down, creating a terror-inducing crack thousands of kilometers long on one side of the crater’s wall.
From within the split crack, even larger root-like tentacles emerged, swiftly cocooning the Bimon beast.
The Bimon beast’s roars continued unabated, its body shaking violently. Unfortunately, it did not possess the same power as the Aztec deity and, despite exerting its utmost strength, it could not break free from the tentacles. As the countless tentacles wrapped around him, slowly pulling him toward a giant maw below, the Bimon Ancestor, unable to contain his panic, roared out, "Sea Demon, save me—"
Almost in sync with his outcry, a Four-eyed Giant silently appeared on the other side, his gigantic Sea Spear thrusting forward, "bang bang bang bang," echoes sounding like taut ox tendons snapping and vibrating in the air. The tentacles that had been holding the Bimon beast suddenly snapped in great numbers.
Freed from his bindings, the Bimon beast was still in shock and cried out, "Sea Demon, let’s not separate; if we join forces, we may break out of here—"
The Four-eyed Giant nodded, turned around, and stood back to back with the Bimon beast. The power of the two Elders seemed able to merge together, stirring up an even more terrifying aura. Suddenly, the surrounding tentacles, as if intimidated by this terrifying aura, instinctually weakened.
In the mythological era, the two invincible giant beasts created by God themselves were the Bimon, which ruled the land, and the Sea Demon, which dominated the oceans.
The Bimon Ancestor inherited the full essence of the "Bimon beast," and this Four-eyed Giant was the "Sea Demon Ancestor" of the Four-eyed Clan, carrying within him the vital essence of the once legendary dominator of the seas in the mythological era, the "Sea Demon."
When the powers of Bimon and Sea Demon combined, they would give rise to a terrifying force more than ten times stronger than their own. The released aura could cause the surrounding tentacles to instinctively recoil in fear.
Immortals of all races displayed their supernatural powers; at the bottom of the pit, chaos reigned supreme. Su Yu protected An Xue with all his might, continuously descending. By now, he had unleashed the vast power of his Giant Will without reservation. The six massive dragon heads, with gaping maws, occasionally dived into the endless darkness below, followed by earth-shaking screams and roars.
Su Yu, together with An Xue, kept descending. At this moment, he could no longer care about others nor did he know how far the other race’s Immortals had reached. He could only sense the vibrations around him growing more distant.
