Chapter 1119: Chapter 837 The Earth-Shattering Big Secret_1
The Blue Warblade completely destroyed the rock as large as an island, and the Four-eyed Giant frowned, "Could my perception have been wrong?" His four eyes swept through the void, indeed no longer sensing anything. With a hint of doubt, he beckoned, and the Blue Warblade "whooshed" back into his grasp, landing beside the lotus platform where he sat cross-legged.
Within the "Absolute Sealing Array," Divine Bones and Wu Xinhui among others had witnessed the recent spectacle, and were scared into a cold sweat. If it had not been for Su Yu wrapping around them in an instant and moving them through the air, had they been left to their own devices, they would not have had time to react before being destroyed by the power of the Blue Warblade. Just like the recently shattered island rock, they would be reduced to pieces, without a trace remaining.
"Maybe I really did sense it wrong," the Four-eyed Giant quickly shifted his focus back to King Mo Xu.
The wounds on King Mo Xu’s body were healing at a visibly fast rate, emitting sounds extremely unpleasant to the ear: "Zhen Di, why must you be so ruthlessly coercive? I am no longer the king of the Moxu Clan. I just wish to find a place where I can live in peace and not compete with the world. I saw it unintentionally back then, I swear, I will not speak of it, there’s no need for you to go to such lengths to eliminate me."
King Mo Xu seemed to recognize the Four-eyed Giant in pursuit, and although his voice was grating, it carried a tinge of pleading.
Within the "Absolute Sealing Array," Ada sighed silently, "Pitiful King Mo Xu, once a king of a realm, now reduced to such a plight."
The former status and position of King Mo Xu were roughly equivalent to that of the being from the Giant Eye City of the Upper Realm, ruling over a world similar to the Upper Realm as the king of a realm with supreme authority. After he was stripped of power, he was exiled from his own world and has been fleeing since. Now, he couldn’t even find a place to hide and live in peace.
The Four-eyed Giant referred to as "Zhen Di" had flickering eyes and emitted a very sinister-sounding voice, "Winners are kings and losers are bandits; losers do not have the right to live in this world. Besides, what you have seen must not be disclosed. Today, you must die here."
As he spoke, he slowly stood up from the giant, all-silver lotus platform adorned with golden stripes, and with his right hand, he pulled out the Blue Warblade.
Clearly, he had no wish to waste words with King Mo Xu and only desired to be done with him quickly.
Watching Zhen Di draw his sword, the Four-eyed Clan members immediately retreated even farther. King Mo Xu, knowing that there was no escape from Zhen Di, felt cornered, and a viciousness welled up within him. Suddenly, King Mo Xu burst into a "haha" of maniacal laughter.
"Zhen Di, you little tyrant, your bullying has gone too far—"
Zhen Di slightly pursed his lips, no longer paying attention to King Mo Xu, but holding the Blue Warblade, he suddenly "whooshed" a terrifying blue light hundreds of meters long from the sword. This blue light formed the shadowy silhouette of the Warblade, cutting straight down through the void.
All the rocks in the sky that came into contact with this blue light instantly turned to ash and vanished. King Mo Xu’s large body was too big to dodge in time, forcing him to wave his numerous tendrils and extend a few toward the falling Blue Warblade to entangle it.
With a "hiss," upon contact, the tendrils snapped, inch by inch, and a torrent of ink-like blood gushed forth. At some point, Zhen Di appeared above King Mo Xu’s head.
Holding the Blue Warblade with both hands, the blade, now hundreds of meters in length, could easily cleave the gigantic King Mo Xu, roughly the size of over ten acres, with ease.
"The strengths of both sides are completely on different levels. This Four-eyed Clan member called Zhen Di is very powerful," Ada’s voice echoed in Su Yu’s mind within the Absolute Sealing Array.
Su Yu hummed in response. Though King Mo Xu had already acquired the power to rival that of a Totem, this Four-eyed Clan named Zhen Di was even stronger. Su Yu had been watching Zhen Di with a feeling of familiarity, only recalling just now that he had seen him once before in the "Fire Elemental Space," where Zhen Di was apparently chasing a golden eagle-headed creature.
Since it had been a long time, Su Yu felt Zhen Di looked familiar yet somewhat different, preventing him from being sure. However, the weapon he wielded and the lotus platform he sat upon were indeed identical, it’s just that his appearance and aura seemed to have undergone some changes.
Or maybe, the aura of this individual known as Zhen Di had grown even more formidable and inscrutable, causing a slight difference from what he remembered?
Lost in thought, Su Yu saw King Mo Xu being bisected by the Blue Warblade, extending hundreds of meters. To Zhen Di, who seemed so inconsequential in comparison, wielding the far larger Warblade appeared effortless, like an extension of his own limb, first slashing horizontally, then reversing with a cut.
A cross-shaped pattern was traced, and the mighty King Mo Xu was split into four pieces.
Kingly and formidable as he was, King Mo Xu had no power to fight back in his presence.
"Die, as a loser, you have long forfeited the right to live in this world." Zhen Di’s voice lacked any hint of emotion; in his eyes, King Mo Xu was but garbage to be disposed of.
With his left hand’s gesture, the Red Giant Sword that had been planted in the giant lotus platform flew into his grasp.
With the sword in his left hand, he fiercely made his move.
With a resonant "boom," a shadow of a giant red fire dragon soared and pounced, instantly engulfing and enveloping King Mo Xu, who had been cut into four pieces.
"Ah——" King Mo Xu emitted a piercing shriek of agony, while Zhen Di remained expressionless, his face impassive, and with a flick of his wrists, the Red Giant Sword and the Blue Warblade he held flew out, returning to their original sizes and impaling themselves onto the giant lotus platform. As if he had done something utterly trivial, he dusted off his hands and casually stepped through the void, returning to his own lotus platform, no longer paying attention to King Mo Xu, who was being consumed by the fierce flames and torn into four.
"Let’s go, back we go," commanded Zhen Di, and all the members of the Four-eyed Clan around him bent in obedience; they all knew that first being dismembered by Zhen Di’s Blue Warblade, then devoured by the Death Fire from his Red Giant Sword, meant certain death for King Mo Xu. Not even the Immortal’s descent could save him.
Zhen Di was supremely confident in his own abilities; he didn’t wait to watch King Mo Xu be completely incinerated to death before he tore through the void and disappeared, and the other members of the Four-eyed Clan hurried to follow. They knew, if they stayed to watch King Mo Xu die completely, it would signify a lack of trust in Zhen Di’s power.
Not trust Zhen Di? Wasn’t that courting death?
No one dared to hesitate or stay to confirm King Mo Xu’s death.
"This guy, so overconfident..." Within the Absolute Sealing Array, Su Yu watched as Zhen Di nonchalantly walked away after dusting off his hands, his movements graceful to the extreme, but his confidence bordered on arrogance. This was the first time Su Yu had seen someone like him.
The Blue Warblade made a crosswise slash, dissolving King Mo Xu’s body, while the Death Fire from the Red Giant Sword swallowed up his form.
Within the Death Fire, King Mo Xu’s body continually burned into ashes. Indeed, he had no chance of turning the tide, no possibility of survival.
This was the reason for Zhen Di’s confidence—knowing that King Mo Xu’s death was inevitable, there was no need for him to stay and watch any longer.
The combination of the Blue Warblade and the Red Giant Sword meant certain death for King Mo Xu—of course, if Su Yu hadn’t shown up.
Witnessing King Mo Xu’s painful roars and struggles within the Death Fire, Su Yu, though confined within the Absolute Sealing Array, had already set his tremendous will into motion.
Maybe not even the Immortal could save the King Mo Xu now, but the will inside Su Yu could.
An Illusory Shadow Dragon materialized out of nowhere, its gaping maw inhaling, drawing in the Death Fire that had engulfed King Mo Xu, swallowing it completely.
"Survive, King Mo Xu——"
A commanding voice rang out, and the dying King Mo Xu felt his soul quiver before a strange fluctuation began to emanate from all around. An indescribable power surged into his body, stirring every cell, accelerating their division and bringing forth new life.
King Mo Xu had no idea what had transpired. His massive body was torn to pieces, mostly reduced to ashes, yet the remaining fragment of his body was now teeming with vitality. Was he, incredibly, still alive?
Even Ada had not anticipated that Su Yu would suddenly come to King Mo Xu’s rescue, and she too was filled with curiosity.
Packing away the "Absolute Sealing Array," Su Yu appeared before "King Mo Xu" without a sound.
King Mo Xu saw Su Yu but didn’t recognize him at first. Upon seeing the Divine Bones and others closely following Su Yu, he finally recognized them as the Child of Destiny from the Upper Realm who desperately wanted to kill him.
Though King Mo Xu had survived, he was severely injured and struggling to sustain his remaining power in this space; he had no hope of resisting the Divine Bones and the others.
At that thought, King Mo Xu let out a wry chuckle, "Is this fate? I left the Upper Realm, intent on escaping from you all, only to find that in the end... I am still doomed to die by your hands."
Qin Zheng laughed, "King Mo Xu, if only you had not fled the Upper Realm, back then your power was immense... Now... to be honest, I’m quite unimpressed, but it’s better than nothing." With those words, he grinned, revealing a greedy look in the direction of the King Mo Xu before him.
To the Child of Destiny, any form of energy was a delicacy in their eyes.
Knowing that death was inescapable and feeling utterly disheartened, King Mo Xu was no longer afraid. He simply fixed his gaze on Su Yu and asked, "You... how did you save me? That Zhen Di is the Totem of the Four-eyed Clan, wielding the four powers of the clan. I was engulfed in ’Death Fire,’ which not even the Immortal might save me from. How... how could you extinguish that flame?"
Su Yu looked up at the stars before answering, "King Mo Xu, don’t be nervous. I won’t kill you now. I’m merely curious about the secret you witnessed. The Totem of the Four-eyed Clan took action to kill you, which suggests that you know some incredible secret?" (To be continued, for more please visit www.qidian.com.
