Chapter 157: Chapter 89 I Want to Hold You_2 Chapter 157: Chapter 89 I Want to Hold You_2 Wen Yangzhi watched as she playfully pulled her shirt out of her pants, giving her a meaningful look, “Oh, now that you’re older, you don’t like me so much it makes you want to cry anymore.”
Her face turned slightly red as she retorted, “No, I want to sleep with the twenty-year-old Wen Yangzhi.”
This was a reason beyond Wen Yangzhi’s expectations, and to hear her say it so bluntly caught him off guard. He chuckled lazily, “So, you think I’m old now?”
She hummed to herself, “Anyway, I just want to try the twenty-year-old you. If I could try the twenty, thirty, and forty-year-old you, that would be great.”
He kept a straight face, cutting to the heart of the matter, “Then you still have the chance to try the eighty-year-old me.”
“Why are you like this,” she said, embarrassed and surprised.
Wen Yangzhi was expressionless, “What, you don’t want to try the eighty-year-old me?”
She stubbornly disbelieved, “Who can still be like this at eighty.”
“At eighty, I’ll still be up for it,” Wen Yangzhi promised, with a casualness that was dirtier than the sewer.
She felt the topic was embarrassing yet inexplicably happy, burying her face in his chest, the thought of an eighty-year-old Wen Yangzhi being like this filled her with unspeakable delight.
He decided to follow through, his chest vibrating faintly with his voice, “Do you want it now?”
Yun Yuwan held the corner of his shirt with one hand, and the fabric at the chest of his shirt with the other, tugging at his entire top, her soft cheek pressed against the nook of his neck, feigning ignorance, “Want what?”
Wen Yangzhi, unhurried and patient, asked, “What do you want?”
At first, she didn’t speak, but then she bit the collarbone under his shirt collar, and a moment later she whispered stickily, “I don’t want to say it.”
Understanding, Wen Yangzhi simply carried her, walking to the door, “Lock the door.”
Yun Yuwan slowly extended a hand from his embrace and locked the door from the inside.
Wanting it and yet wanting him to take the initiative, she was indeed just a child.
Wen Yangzhi carried her to shower, and as the water washed over her, she looked up at him like a soaking wet puppy, trusting and adorable. As the water reached her eyes, Wen Yangzhi reached out to gently wipe it from her eye sockets.
She didn’t feel ashamed at all being looked at by him, instead clinging to him wetly, continuing to babble nonsense like, “Wen Yangzhi, this shower gel isn’t fragrant,” and “The water pressure is too high, turning on all the taps feels like being shot with a machine gun.”
He turned the water pressure down.
Her eyes were darker and more lustrous than in daylight, like ink-colored gemstones with multifaceted cuts that, despite being black, shone brilliantly, making Wen Yangzhi turn off the water and kiss her.
Having a cute little girl like Yun Yuwan in the world was a miracle, so innocent yet so lascivious, her desire still clinging to him.
Carrying her back to the room, he heard her broken murmurs about what she liked.
Wen Yangzhi cushioned a pillow under her waist and leaned down to ask in her ear, “What did you say you liked?”
“I really like… Wen Yangzhi,” she murmured intermittently.
Wen Yangzhi leaned down to embrace her, gently stroking her hair.
As the sky began to brighten, Yun Yuwan opened her eyes and reached for Wen Yangzhi’s phone left beside her to check the time.
Six something.
She turned her head to look at Wen Yangzhi, grabbed his hand, and used his fingerprint to unlock his phone.
But before Yun Yuwan had time to look, Wen Yangzhi suddenly embraced her, tightly wrapping her in his arms, his arm circling her back, his large hand holding her slender shoulders and forearm, as if he wanted to completely blend her into his own flesh and blood.
Yun Yuwan was startled, and her phone slipped into the crevice between the bed and the bedside table.
“What, what are you doing?”
Wen Yangzhi wrapped her tightly in his arms, his voice low and husky with a touch of sensuality as he had just woken up, “I had a dream last night, dreamt about you.”
She let out a sigh of relief but then immediately said, “It wasn’t something rated-R, was it?”
Wen Yangzhi half-closed his eyes and laughed speechlessly, “Do you wish it was?”
“Of course not.”
But just a second later, she couldn’t help but ask again, “Are you really not content with pestering me when you’re awake and now in my dreams as well?”
Wen Yangzhi’s broad palm landed on her waist as he closed his eyes, “I dreamt about when you were studying undergraduate in London.”
Yun Yuwan was somewhat puzzled, “What’s so good about that dream? We hadn’t seen each other for so long at that time.”
“I dreamt you took part in that hug event with a thousand people, and no one hugged you,” he answered her.
Yun Yuwan was about to speak, but then she stopped herself to listen to him.
“You posted on social media that you stood in the city center for a day and didn’t get a single hug.”
“In the dream, I saw it but pretended not to.”
His embrace tightened even more, “Sorry, Nannan, that’s why I want to hug you.”
Yun Yuwan felt her heart struck hard, and moved, she whispered his name softly, “Why…”
But in a flash, she remembered his words from last night, “I like holding you.”
Dreams and reality are often connected; subconscious thoughts from reality project into dreams.
So his conscious saying of “I want to hug you”
stemmed from the London hug event five years ago where she hugged everyone except him.
He had sent a ‘hug jar’ before, proving his not being indifferent to the matter.
So his dream wasn’t fake; Wen Yangzhi had truly wanted to hug her but couldn’t.
Realizing this, her lips, which had been turned up in a smile, gradually lowered.
In fact, he had always been concerned, afraid no one would hug her.
The social media post she made back then, she meant for him to see it, yet hoped he would think it was about someone else, that person across the ocean who couldn’t hug her.
Later, when Lin Chu came over, she took a picture and posted it online, just to show him, look, there are many important people in my heart, but you are not one of them.
You don’t like me, and there’s no need to be troubled by my affection.
Yun Yuwan turned her head towards the pillow, not wanting him to see her tears, “No one hugged me, and then what?”
Wen Yangzhi found it a bit funny when he said it, “I thought about messaging you, but out of nowhere a fat dog grabbed my hand with its mouth, pried my hand away from sending the message.”
Yun Yuwan, who had just been using Wen Yangzhi’s hand to unlock her phone: “…”
“?”
