The Phantom team members woke up feeling refreshed and in a good mood after resting for three days. Before leaving, they had a hearty breakfast. Several big pots of chicken and mushroom rice, paired with soothing egg drop soup.

After breakfast, they checked their equipment and refilled their mags and cartridges.

Jiao Lizhi calculated the crystal cores and gave each of them a small pouch. Besides the crystal cores, she also gave them three bottles of pond water. As for the medicine and emergency supplies, those were handled by Xiao Qi and Feng Yun.

When the sun rose on the eastern horizon, Jin Xuyan said, "Today, our main targets are the hospital and the research laboratory. Everyone, pay more attention to the situation and report if you find survivors. The base needs medical personnel, so it would be best if we could send some back."

Hearing this, Xiao Qi said, "I saw a showroom selling motorbikes just now. After we finish checking the hospital, how about we go there and get some?"

At two o’clock in the afternoon, the Phantom team finally finished clearing out the zombies wandering outside the hospital building.

"Seal the gate," Jin Xuyan said.

"Understood," the Wen brothers replied and built a four-meter-high metal wall surrounding the hospital.

With this gate, they no longer had to worry about zombie attacks. As for other ability-users, they didn’t concern themselves much with them.

Standing outside the building, Qin Luzi checked his map. After breaking through to level one, his map now covered an area of one kilometer with himself as the center point. For specific directional observation, he could check areas up to two kilometers away.

Besides this improvement, he was now able to merge his wind-type ability with his psychic-type ability. He could pinpoint an area on his map and attack that place directly. This combination allowed him to launch sneak attacks on enemies as long as they were within a two-kilometer radius.

After a while, he said, "Captain, the laboratory is located at the back of the hospital. As for the warehouse, it’s located to the west of the hospital."

"How many zombies are inside?" Jin Xuyan asked.

Although the number was high, the zombies were trapped inside the building and hadn’t been exposed to the first rain. Therefore, they were still stuck at level zero.

Reaching this conclusion, Jin Xuyan said, "Split into two teams, with six to seven members each. Feng Yun and Xiao Qi, both of you will join different teams. Ah Zhi and I will go by ourselves."

Standing outside the warehouses, Jiao Lizhi said, "Brother Yan, let’s check the cold storage first."
