Chapter 961: Chapter 961: Ruanruan calculates and says that there will be bloodshed today.

Min Zhenghao walked toward Qin Ruan, politely asking, "Miss, what brings you here so late at night?"

It was only as he approached that he could clearly see Qin Ruan’s face, innocent yet charming, with a pair of fox-like eyes that were both beautiful and bright.

In the darkness, her pretty eyes appeared especially enchanting, with a dreamy, almost drunken haze about them.

Min Zhenghao’s heartbeat quickened uncontrollably.

Qin Ruan tucked her hair, tousled by the night wind, behind her ear and smiled, "I heard someone was coming here for an adventure, so I came to join the fun."

Looking at the expensive luxury car behind her, Min Zhenghao felt overwhelmed.

The livestream tonight had been meticulously planned in advance. The sudden appearance of a stranger, albeit a beautiful one, was still unwelcome in his heart.

If the livestream were to be ruined, it would tarnish his reputation, and the contracting company might even hold him responsible afterward.

Min Zhenghao suggested, "Miss, we are having a livestream here today. Maybe you could choose a different location, or come back another day?"

Qin Ruan shook her head at him, her slender, fair hand gesturing as she looked up at the starry sky and spoke seriously, "I’ve calculated, and today is not suitable for adventurous activities as it’s easy to encounter bloodshed.

I’d also like to check out this hospital to see what demons or ghosts are inside. You wouldn’t mind, would you?"

The chat in the livestream fell into a brief silence upon hearing Qin Ruan speak.

As she expressed such intriguing thoughts, the screen was flooded with comments.

[Damn! Who is this miss? Her voice is so sweet, so nice to listen to!]

[Xiaomin, Xiaomin, we want to see the miss’s face!]

[What did she say? ’Calculated’? Hahaha, I’m dead laughing!!]

[The miss said today wasn’t suitable and there could be bloodshed, is Xiaomin in danger?]

[Damn, this couldn’t possibly be someone Xiaomin arranged beforehand, right? Miss, please show your face!]

[Tonight’s livestream is really exciting!]

[Firmly establish a scientific worldview, resist all superstitions.]

[Let the miss show her face, show it!!!]

[Show face +1]

Unaware of the frantic comments in the chat, Min Zhenghao felt overwhelmed upon grasping the meaning behind Qin Ruan’s words.

He even suspected that Qin Ruan might be a minor internet celebrity from another company, and he approached her, lowering his voice to ask, "Which company are you with, miss?"

Qin Ruan gave him a strange look and replied, "I’m not involved with the internet celebrity circle; I have a personal interest in supernatural events. I’m just here to join the fun and won’t interrupt your livestream."

Min Zhenghao frowned, "Do you know me?"

Qin Ruan shook her head, "I do not."

Her smile was sweet, her demeanor gentle and kind, appearing completely harmless.

Yet Min Zhenghao felt uneasy, sensing that tonight’s livestream could take a turn for the worse because of her arrival.

The cameraman, Afeng, called from behind, "Xiaomin, the livestream has hit a hundred thousand viewers, they are all urging you to go in."

Min Zhenghao gritted his teeth and called back, "Coming!"

He again addressed Qin Ruan with apprehension, "We are livestreaming tonight. Miss, if you see something or discover anything, please do us a favor and do not sabotage it; we’re all just trying to make a living here."

"Sure thing!"

Qin Ruan agreed readily, seeming easy to talk to.

Min Zhenghao quickly ran to the camera, looked down at the phone to read the comments, and with a smile said, "Today, we are fortunate to encounter a miss who is also here for an adventure. We have agreed to explore this hospital together.

Everyone must be aware of the legends surrounding this long-abandoned hospital. Whether these legends are true or not, I’ll personally lead you all to find out!"

He smiled broadly for the camera, flashing a bright, white smile.

As for the comments demanding the miss show her face, and those rejecting superstition, Min Zhenghao chose to ignore them.

He turned and strode toward the hospital’s iron gates, took a few steps, then turned back to wave Afeng over.

After Afeng caught up, Min Zhenghao stood in front of the hospital door. In the magnified lens, he slowly extended his hand and pushed open the iron gate.

Exposed to decades of sun, rain, and rust, the iron gate emitted a long, eerie, screechy sound the moment it was pushed open.

[Holy crap, I’m getting that feeling!]

[My little feet are shriveling back under the covers.]

[How desperate must I be to watch a ghostly live stream on New Year’s Day?]

[Dude, I’m in the toilet, and I got such a shiver... the poop... got cut off.]

[Dude upstairs, are you disgusting or what? I’m gonna hurl!]

[Xiaomin, hurry inside and show us where the Puppet is!]

In the live stream, some people were scared, some greeted their parents in excitement, and others were thrilled.

To meet their demands, the cameraman Afeng no longer focused on Min Zhenghao. Instead, he turned the lens to the rusty gate, gave a close-up, then moved it inside the hospital to capture the blurry scenery of the courtyard at night.

Qin Ruan followed behind them, hands in pockets, leisurely walking into the hospital with them.

Min Zhenghao walked alongside the cameraman, occasionally using a tone that evoked emotions, a mix of fear and suspense, to narrate for the audience in the live stream.

They couldn’t feel how cold and gloomy the hospital was, nor could they see the dark "Evil Qi" soaring into the sky, with resentment filled in every corner.

Min Zhenghao walked through the overgrown grassy courtyard, speaking in a lowered voice, "Legend has it that this hospital was occupied during a particular period and witnessed a plague that almost destroyed all of humanity.

It’s said that every inch of this land covers thousands of corpses, and while walking, you might just step on chilling bones."

"Ouch!"

Suddenly, Min Zhenghao cried out.

Staggering, he lunged forward, and the cameraman Afeng immediately turned the camera towards him.

The two coordinated well, capturing Min Zhenghao as he nearly fell but stabilized himself in a bizarre, humorous pose for the live stream audience.

Once Min Zhenghao steadied himself, he shone his phone’s flashlight on the ground, blurting out, "What the hell is this?"

Moments later, he added, "Well, look at that! Just a broken brick almost made me stumble!"

The off-camera Afeng laughed and responded, "We’re walking on a dirt path, how could there be a brick?"

"Don’t believe me huh?" Ming Zhenghao, in his hometown dialect, tugged Afeng’s sleeve to show him the brick poking out of the ground, "Come on! Take a look at this!"

Afeng pointed the camera towards the ground, capturing the brick protruding from the dirt.

Breaking into the frame, Min Zhenghao patted his chest in relief, showing a forced smile to the live stream audience, "No worries, no worries, just lost my balance, nothing happened."

[Wow, Xiaomin breaking out the hometown dialect.]

[It’s turning from a paranormal live stream into a comedic dialogue show hahaha...]

[Xiaomin is from Jin City?]

[Can you perform stand-up comedy?]

[Xiaomin, give us a skit!]

Min Zhenghao responded with a giggly, "I accidentally revealed that haha... I’m from Jin City. Stand-up comedy isn’t exactly my forte; let’s keep exploring, everyone."

As he finished speaking, he continued walking.

Qin Ruan followed behind him, stepping on the protruding brick, her eyes slightly narrowed, dark and sinister. With a firm step, she pushed the smoky brick back into the soil, along with the "Evil Qi" disappearing without a trace.

A chilling breeze swept through, and standing still, Qin Ruan frowned in irritation and fixed her gaze towards the entrance of the hospital’s six-story building.

That was precisely where the dense black fog and "Evil Qi" gathered most intensely.

Min Zhenghao and cameraman Afeng were already heading that way, obviously planning to venture inside.

Qin Ruan, taking steady steps, quickly followed them, contemplating whether to stuff her ears first or deal with the decades-old evils lingering in the Mortal World.

With so many Puppet Monsters, she feared she couldn’t clear them all out in a short time.
