Young Master Is Being Jealous Again!
Chapter 907: Ruanruan Finally Lifts the Ban, Third Master’s External Statement

Chapter 907: Chapter 907: Ruanruan Finally Lifts the Ban, Third Master’s External Statement

Of course, Ke Zhibin had not anticipated that the noble and reserved Third Master would have such...well, brutal moments.

Rumors had claimed that the Huo Family’s Third Master was chronically feeble, but recalling their initial encounter from a few days ago and considering the current situation, it seemed nothing like the gossip.

Listening to Qin Ruan’s coquettish, plaintive voice, she was obviously being terribly oppressed.

However, this also showed that for someone of modest origins like Qin Ruan to marry into the Huo Family and secure the position as the Family Head’s wife, she certainly had impressive skills.

Throughout history, many heroes have stumbled over the beauty trap, and the Third Master, born into the aristocracy, was still young, merely thirty years old; perhaps he was experiencing the pleasure and found it hard to restrain himself.

Knowing that it was not the time to disturb further, Ke Zhibin spoke very quickly, "I don’t have much else to say, I can tell you in the daytime, it’s late now, you and the Third Master should get some rest early, I won’t bother you anymore."

Having said that, he swiftly hung up the phone.

At certain times, disturbing someone is extremely unethical.

He just hoped that the Third Master would not hold a grudge against him for the interruption.

Qin Ruan didn’t listen to Ke Zhibin’s words until the end, her breathing gradually became steady, and tired in body and mind, she fell asleep.

Huo Yunjiao put away his phone, glanced at the ended call, and a trace of dark gleam flashed in his eyes, feeling very satisfied with the timing of Ke Zhibin’s call.

It gave him a different kind of pleasure, realizing that there was much beauty between husband and wife yet to be explored thoroughly.

It’s just that Qin Ruan was too thin-skinned and always held back.

Thinking that he had bullied her harshly today, he didn’t know if Qin Ruan would make a fuss with him when she woke up tomorrow.

Huo Yunjiao’s lips curled into a smile, a devilishly alluring expression appeared on his handsome face.

He nonchalantly threw his phone aside, swept back his fallen hair, pulled up the blanket from the foot of the bed to cover them, and hugged Qin Ruan as he contentedly entered dreamland.

...

Three days after Qin Ruan was brought back home, she finally managed to step out of her bedroom.

For the past few days, she had eaten and drunk within her bedroom, not leaving the room for even half a step.

All her meals had been hand-fed by the Third Master himself. It wasn’t that she was being squeamish, needing someone to feed her, rather she was utterly lacking in strength.

She didn’t even have the strength to lift her wrist or hold chopsticks.

Now finally granted freedom, Qin Ruan trembled lightly as she stepped out of the room.

The sunshine was so beautiful, and the air outside the bedroom felt so refreshing to breathe.

But all of this couldn’t cover up the unease in her heart.

She didn’t believe for a second that no one knew what had happened over these three days.

Especially yesterday, when Huo Yao and Huo Anqi came knocking at the door in the middle of the night, crying and calling for their mother.

The Third Master was in the midst of settling scores with her, not sparing her in the slightest even with the arrival of their son.

The disturbance even led to him taking out his displeasure on her more intensely, transferring his dissatisfaction with his son to her.

Qin Ruan pinched the bridge of her nose, recalling when she woke up in the morning to see the delicate and compact remote controller that had fallen at the foot of the bed.

It was a birthday gift she had received, which she had hidden away in the wardrobe’s storage cabinet, but still, the Third Master had found it.

Yesterday, it could be said to have witnessed all her tears and anguish, and the Third Master was the one controlling the outpour of her tears.

Qin Ruan’s cheeks turned slightly red as she thought that running away from home was urgent.

Huo Zhi came from around the corner and bowed slightly to her, "Madam, the Seventh Young Master Huo has been waiting downstairs for you for three days."

Qin Ruan hid the guilt from her face, her exquisite and seductive features turned cold and indifferent, and she nonchalantly asked, "Waiting for what?"

Huo Zhi: "The girlfriend of the Seventh Young Master arrived in Capital City two days ago, and she has been reporting outside the Huo Mansion’s gates every day on time. The Seventh Young Master has also been waiting downstairs every day to see you."

Upon hearing this, Qin Ruan’s expression changed slightly, a moment of distortion crossing her face.

She had actually forgotten, there were still family members like Huo Chengying and Huo Qi, the cousins, living at home.

During these three days, the third master has been lingering with her constantly and hasn’t even gone to the company; probably everyone is well aware of it.

Qin Ruan’s ears felt warm, and she covered her eyes, feeling utterly disheartened.

At this moment, she really wanted to turn around and run back to her room, preferably to avoid seeing anyone, so she wouldn’t have to face the embarrassment.

Huo Zhi called out, "Madam?"

Qin Ruan gathered her emotions and said bravely, "Is Huo Qi’s girlfriend here?"

Huo Zhi replied, "The younger master’s girlfriend is in the Huo Mansion’s front gate resting room."

Qin Ruan, with mixed feelings, said, "Please invite her in, I’ll go downstairs to meet Huo Qi."

Huo Zhi took the order and left.

After she left, Qin Ruan stood still, glanced at her outfit to ensure nothing was amiss, and descended the stairs with composed steps.

Upon seeing her, Huo Qi’s face showed a sorrowful and melancholic expression, "Third sister-in-law, you’ve finally come downstairs."

His words carried an unwitting air of grievance.

He and his girlfriend, Fanfan, had been waiting for Qin Ruan for three whole days, which contributed to his deep resentment.

Qin Ruan’s expression was restrained as she sat down next to Huo Qi and coughed softly, "I haven’t been feeling well these past couple of days."

Huo Qi feigned solemnity, "Did the third brother say how you’re feeling now?"

Qin Ruan blinked curiously, "What did he say?"

Certainly, no one knew what she had been through these past three days.

Clutching onto this slim hope, Qin Ruan fixed her gaze steadily on Huo Qi.

The latter extended his hand as if to touch his nose but, recalling this indicated guilt, he adjusted his sitting posture and nodded seriously.

"Third brother said you were feeling unwell, just a slight cold, and didn’t want to risk infecting others or inconveniencing guests."

Of course, it was a very perfunctory excuse.

Everyone in the Huo Mansion, from top to bottom, knew that Huo Yunjiao had confined Qin Ruan in her room for three days.

During their moments of affection, they forbade anyone from disturbing them, and even refused entry to Huo Yao and Huo Anqi when they came to see their parents.

Qin Ruan looked at Huo Qi’s serious expression and revealed a faint smile, calmly saying, "Right, it is just a bit of a cold."

Her tone lacked any hint of relief at having dodged a bullet.

As she spoke, she realized it was unnecessary to have asked that question.

The third master’s public explanation was nothing more than an attempt to cover up the obvious, and everybody was merely pretending to be oblivious.

If Huo Qi could act as if he didn’t know what had happened, then she didn’t need to feel guilty, and could readily admit to being sick without anyone saying anything.

Qin Ruan observed the youth seated beside her, blinked slowly, and asked softly, "Have you been out?"

Huo Qi’s heart skipped a beat, feeling that Qin Ruan’s gaze was off, reminiscent of when they first met and she had immediately noticed something was wrong with him.

He nodded, "Fanfan came, and I did go out to see her these past few days, but I haven’t been wandering elsewhere."

Qin Ruan said, "It’s better to go out less. You’ve been labeled now, and you have ’yin qi’ on you."

Huo Qi’s face paled slightly, and his eyes showed panic.

Qin Ruan continued, "As long as you don’t leave the Huo family, there should be no major problems. You carry ’yin qi’ with you, and if you attract other malevolent spirits, you might not be safe from harm."

Reassured that no major problems would occur, Huo Qi’s expression improved considerably, and he nodded, "I understand, Fanfan also advised me not to wander around."

At the mention of his girlfriend, his face was full of happiness and a contented smile.

Before long, Huo Zhi came with a woman dressed in a gender-neutral, stylish fashion, exuding a composure and ease of manner as she walked slowly towards them.
