Young Master Is Being Jealous Again!
Chapter 319: If you’re not Qin Ruan, then who exactly are you?

Chapter 319: Chapter 319: If you’re not Qin Ruan, then who exactly are you?

This strange scene had gone unnoticed by the duo, Han Xian, and Han Kexin, previously; they surely had a lot of nerve.

Qin Ruan strode leisurely toward the mother and daughter.

Her red lips parting slightly, she queried in a tone of accusation, "It’s not what I did -- but what you did. Were you two behind the Tang’s family visits demanding marriage?"

On hearing Qin Ruan’s confident tone, Han Xian’s face changed slightly. She hadn’t expected her actions to be discovered so quickly.

The Tang family had been declining over the years, just a subtly leaked piece of information that Qin Ruan is the second-largest shareholder of the Qin group would be enough to disturb the peace of the Qin family.

They had been brought here today. Could this be connected?

Han Kexin’s mouth was quick, admitting without a shred of hesitation: "So what if it was us? Are you planning to kill us to keep us quiet?"

When her mother spoke to Qin Anmin about the matter, she had overheard. What they told the Tang family was all true.

If the Qin family wanted to live peacefully, it depended on whether they agreed or not.

"Clap, clap, clap!"

Qin Ruan clapped her hands and laughed, "Good job, bearing the consequences of your actions."

She stood in front of the mother and daughter, retrieving the golden whip that had bound them.

Just as Han Xian and Han Kexin were about to sigh in relief, Qin Ruan raised her hand once again.

She swung the golden whip in her hand, striking it towards the waist of Han Xian.

"Smack!"

This whip heaved at Han Xian’s body did not cause any serious physical harm.

But her immobile soul was scattered, unable to maintain its normal form.

The brutal injuries Han Xian suffered severing her waist emerged again in her horrific bloodied state.

Her two legs, along with the half of the body that had been cut off, separated from the upper half of the soul in an instant, creating a horrifying and bloody spectacle.

"Ahhhh!!!"

Witnessing this scene, Han Kexin screamed in terror and hurriedly fled from Han Xian’s side.

She was incredibly fast. In almost an instant, she had drifted several meters away from Han Xian.

Han Xian herself was also terrified. Already pale, her face was filled with shock and disbelief.

Qin Ruan’s lips curled into a cold smirk as she watched the mother and daughter as though observing clowns. "Do you still believe you are alive?"

Han Kexin challenged her. "What the hell is going on?!"

"That’s what I want to ask you."

Qin Ruan strolled to the edge of the bed and sat down, crossing her arms. "Who did you offend for them to use such a cruel method to kill you both?"

"What the hell are you babbling about!" Han Kexin utterly refused to admit she had died.

She was only in her twenties, still so young. How could she possibly be dead?

She believed firmly that all of this was Qin Ruan’s doing.

Even now, she couldn’t forget that one time when she saw Qin Ruan change her face in the corridor of the Qin family home. Her features twisted in terror, her eyes soaked in a dark gaze, eerie and frightening, like an evil spirit.

That one time, she was tremendously scared and had even made a fool of herself.

She remembered such a dark moment clearly.

If anyone was a puppet, it was Qin Ruan!

Facing Han Kexin’s stubborn disbelief, Qin Ruan sneered disdainfully.

Her eyes fell on Han Xian, whose upper body was still floating in the air, and whose spilt organs were hanging down. "What about you? Do you also believe you have not died?"

Han Xian, although more mature than Kexin, struggled to accept that she was dead.

She shook her head at Qin Ruan, "I don’t know. I can’t remember anything."

"Do you remember stirring up trouble between the Qin and Tang families?"

"Yes," Han Xian admitted.

Qin Ruan asked again, "Do you remember whom you had an appointment with last night?"

Han Xian, "I was at home last night and did not go out."

Qin Ruan turned her gaze to Han Kexin, who was standing not too far away and looking at Han Xian like a monster. "How about you?"

"Humph!" Han Kexin refused to answer, her eyes vigilantly darting between Qin Ruan and Han Xian.

She instinctively felt that Qin Ruan was up to no good and even suspected that Han Xian was a product of evil techniques.

Without delving into the directions of her suspicious gaze, Qin Ruan said to Han Xian, "You did meet someone at a hotel last night."

"That’s impossible’! Han Xian denied strongly, ’I was at home tidying up, and even reminded Kexin to close the windows before going to bed because it was lightly raining in the North City."

"Apparently, we slept at home last night. How did we end up waking up here? What on earth is going on?"

Han Kexin glared angrily at Qin Ruan, "Right! What kind of magic have you used on us?!"

It seemed the mother and daughter had no recollection of the previous night.

Qin Ruan rested her chin on her hand, her delicate brows furrowing as she murmured, "How strange. You remember what happened a few days ago, but have no recollection of what happened on the day you died."

She tilted her head, and asked them both, "Do you know Yong En?"

Han Xian: "Yes."

Han Kexin: "How do you know him?!"

Significantly different from Han Xian’s calmness, Han Kexin exuded a strong hostility.

Qin Ruan laughed, her laughter tinged with ill intentions, "Because both of you unknowingly arranged to meet him at a hotel last night."

"Impossible!"

"You are talking nonsense!"

Both mother and daughter retorted at the same time.

Han Xian and Han Kexin fell silent, exchanging glances.

They both knew Yong En and had indeed made arrangements with him. Could it be...

Han Xian’s soul floated towards Han Kexin. Her lower half was still hanging down, her bloody organs dropping out from her abdomen, "Kexin, how do you know Yong En?"

She needed to know, as indeed she had arranged to meet Yong En and he had informed her that there would be a third party present.

"Stay away from me!"

Seeing Han Xian getting closer, Han Kexin was terrified. Her soul darted around the room.

"Kexin, I’m your mother."

"No, you’re not! Stay away from me!"

"Kexin, stop hiding. It’s really me, your mom."

"Ahhhh... No, you’re not! Don’t come near me!"

The mother and daughter chased each other around the room, making Qin Ruan’s head ache.

After waiting for a while, and seeing no signs of them stopping, Qin Ruan coldly declared, "Since neither of you know anything, there’s no need to waste time. Might as well send you straight to hell."

Upon hearing this, the mother and daughter stopped and looked questioningly at Qin Ruan.

Qin Ruan stood up, her gaze landing on them icily. "Are you sure you can’t remember who killed you?"

"I really don’t know. Were we really with Yong En last night? And how did you bring us here? Why can you see us, and just who are you?"

Han Xian’s tone was somewhat confrontational. In her eyes, Qin Ruan was the most suspicious one.

Qin Ruan didn’t hope for much from the thinking patterns of the mother and daughter. She ignored their suspicious glances.

She spoke in an icy, detached voice: "You were indeed with Yong En last night. The Criminal Investigation Department is now involved in this case.

Last night, my elder and second elder brother and I went to the hotel for routine inquiries. You two followed us back. Is there anything else you want to ask?"

Han Xian looked suspiciously, and didn’t believe her. "Who are you?"

Qin Ruan: "I am Qin Ruan."

"People and puppets have different paths. Why can you see us? You are not Qin Ruan, who are you?"

For some reason, Han Xian felt intense fear from the Qin Ruan in front of her.
