Qin Anguo pushed the papers to Han Xian’s side, "Sign these two divorce agreements and I will overlook your past deeds."

Han Xian’s eyes quivered slightly, her voice shaking, "What are you talking about, our age and all! Why should we divorce? Where have I gone wrong all these years?"

Faced with Han Xian’s seemingly timid but inquisitive attitude, Qin Anguo responded by pushing another fairly thick file towards her.

Young Master Qin snorted, "It contains evidence of you seducing my uncle behind my father’s back, and of your attempts to ruin Ruanruan."

Though Qin Mei appeared careless and unreliable, he was, after all, part of the Qin family.

Whatever happened in the family, Qin Anguo and Qin Jingcen would not hide from him.

He received a call from his father and brother early on and knew that their return to the country coincided with the expulsion of Han Xian and her daughter Han Kexin from their home.

"Don’t scare me, I’m not brave." Han Xian’s eyes welled up with tears, her face pale, "I’ve given my all to the Qin family for years, taken care of Jingcen and Amei with nothing to complain about. I’ve done nothing to betray anyone."

Qin Anguo remembered that when he married Han Xian, it was so that the children would have a woman in the house to look after them.

Over the years, she had indeed done well, never mistreating the two sons.

But she should never have made a move against Qin Ruan or gotten involved with his elder brother.

Qin Anguo massaged his furrowed brows, his tone somewhat gentler, "I know it’s been hard on you all these years. If you had found some other man, I wouldn’t have said anything. But you should not have gotten involved with my older brother."

As a husband, he admitted his negligence; he rarely satisfied Han Xian’s physical needs.

On hearing this, Han Xian looked horrified, "I didn’t, I’m clean with your older brother!"

She vehemently denied it. This was something she absolutely could not admit to.

If she admitted it, she truly would have no place in the Qin family.

It was only recently that she got entangled with Qin Anmin. They were always careful, and all the places they went to were very private.

Han Xian was confident that they couldn’t possibly have any evidence against her.

Her adamant denial only made Qin Anguo’s face darken, and any remnants of his softened mood dissipated.

"Just sign the divorce documents. I’ve left you with enough money to cater for you and your daughter for the rest of your lives without worry. Don’t make a scene and leave us both disgraced."
