At the age of four hundred and twenty years, Klarke was entering a period of decline and was likely to die within the next thirty to forty years, preventing him from participating in battle due to his diminished energy and physical capacity. Therefore, he could only ask his good friend to represent him in apologizing to the leader he most respected, Kyle. Conaida was about a hundred years younger than Klarke and had a decent relationship with Pannis and a close bond with Klarke. A century ago, Pannis managed to recruit Klarke to his team, who he had barely met, for the future of the Yarran World, all based on a letter. That letter was actually addressed directly to Conaida, who was then of Legendary Rank, and was subsequently passed on to Klarke. Thus, having Conaida assist in this mission on behalf of Klarke was precisely the most appropriate choice.
