"Give me a kiss if you’re really fine." He grinned, she shrugged and gave him a peck. He handed over her cone and she took it.

Spencer stood up from kneeling and noticed how many eyes had been watching them the whole time. He doesn’t mind though, he is so used to attention that it doesn’t bother him anymore. On the other hand, he glimpses his girlfriend’s whole figure.

She’s wearing a yellow spaghetti strap short dress. Her white milky shoulders are exposed including her neckline and chest area above her breast. Even her collar bones are so gorgeous that he wanted to cover her up.

Sitting, she could cover her skinny enticing legs. Even her calf makes his mouth water. It’s a good thing he managed to make her wear rubber shoes instead of sandals. Or else everything that belongs to him would become an exhibit right now.

"It’s good." She commented while tasting the two flavors after another.

"It is. Here, extend your arm." He took the cone on her hand and guided her to wear the one arm of the jersey.

"Babe, I don’t want to wear a jacket. It’s hot." Yanarym protested realizing how he stripped off his jacket for her to wear it. She would wear it if they were inside the classroom where there was an aircon, not here!

"It’s not that hot, baby... and wearing dresses doesn’t suit you. You don’t look pretty showing skin." Spencer said looking so serious that made Yanarym shutted up. She almost choked her own saliva.

"I look ugly?"

"No, it’s just... it doesn’t suit you. Yellow is not a good color either." She blinked a few times and wanted to slap his face with her ice cream.

HE KNOWS HOW GORGEOUS SHE IS! OUT OF FIVE WORLDS, THIS FACE OF THIS WORLD’S ORIGINAL CAN BE FACED-OFF TO THE BEAUTY OF THE RECENT WORLD!

She forgot, this is also the time of the year where Spencer starts to brainwash the original by gaslighting. This is the most common technique that a manipulator would use to get his victim to follow him blindly.

In the original plot, Spencer did manipulate the original life from the beginning but his manipulation got worse when they had reached their almost four years of relationship. In the book, Yanarym did not know the point of view of any other characters other than Gale, it’s only the female lead point of view, that’s why.

Although, there was a Chapter where the male lead had his thoughts revealed. It was too short and summarized to have any other analysis happen. She remembered that in that Chapter, Hansel mentioned how Gale gained his interest, how he got attached until he got so devoted to her, and married each other for the ending.

For the original’s, she was frequently mentioned in Gale’s thoughts because of her status as her best friend. When she died, the author published a special Chapter where Gale with the help of Hansel had investigated how Spencer controlled the original’s life through social, physical, mental, behavioral, emotional, spiritual and self aspect.

Because of this, fans of their love story had a theory that Spencer was really in love with the original. How so?

He knew that their relationship was a give and take one. Fearing that she would leave him without restraint he brainwashed her, thinking that she couldn’t live without him in her life. That on every step she would take, she needed his opinion. And every person she would let in her life was being monitored by him. She was totally caged.

In the original’s memory, Spencer was always there but she didn’t care much about what he would always blabber on about. There was nothing useful in the original’s memory... She’s just living.
