Chapter 395: ◙ SMOOTH TRANSITION ◙

Chapter 01

Yanarym woke up feeling that she had a deep-long slumber. The drowsiness made her roll over on the icy and smooth bed, wrapping herself to the cold blanket. She didn’t have to open her eyes or ask where she was, because she knew she was back in the modern world. She could tell by the bed and the aircon’s cold air enveloping all over the room. She yawned and reached out for a pillow and embraced it tightly.

She wanted to sleep more, this was the smoothest transition she had after transmigrating. Yanarym wanted to treasure the experience. Lastly, Matteo- did a good job of killing her, painless death. Because of that, she felt slightly guilty for making him suffer and clueless for ten years...

Well, ten years would be too short for a god-like him. Make him suffer a little so that Azkin could be in love with him with no worries after her reincarnation.

Guide-sama: "Are you sure Matteo would love Azkin?"

"Why would he not?"

Guide-sama: "What if he was only in love with you?"

"He loved Azkin even when they were in heaven, he’s just too dense to realize it. Some people are like that, they had to miss or lose the person before they acknowledged their importance."

Guide-sama: "But he’s not a person."

"Yea, but he’s in love, that all matters. Anyway, send me the plot, I hope you picked a nice random world for me." Without answering Yanarym, Guide-sama transferred all of the details to her. As she requested too, he toned down the pain she would feel whenever she receives the plot and memories. With that, she comfortably cuddled with the pillow.

Because she lost a bet on the last world with Guide-sama. She had no idea where she’d been sent to, however, with her current situation, in this wide luxurious bed and room, she could assume - this would be good.

"I know this story... it’s one of my favorite books from my first past life." She said huskily, slowly opening her eyes. Strangely, her past life was like a distant memory yet if she recalls it, it’s like it was yesterday. She could remember everything clearly, from her first time meeting Alvan to how she died. Same as the second, third and fourth world. But she was not overwhelmed by the memories. Does she have a super brain now? Or was it Guide-sama’s memory that was connected to her? ...

"... Tell me If I guessed it right, I am the friend of the female lead who died after committing suicide?" Yanarym said nonchalantly. For whatever reason it may be, she could never be the female lead of the world she’s been transmigrating to. But, she’s not disappointed by it anymore. After living and dying for some time, she had concluded that no matter what was the role of her character, it didn’t matter.

Guide-sama: "You’re right."

"...great." She murmured and smiled.

Guide-sama: "You are not mad?"

"Why would I? I like this character."

Guide-sama: "But she’s a fool."

"She’s not a fool, she’s ..."

Guide-sama: "What?" Yanarym thought of a word, a term that could identify this character but she couldn’t think of one. Instead of answering Guide-sama, she decided to ignore the question.

"What’s her wish?"

Guide-sama: "It’s just one wish."

"What is it?"

Guide-sama: "Make the male lead fall in love with her." Yanarym shut up. The male lead? The original wanted the male lead? Huh... that’s funny.

Guide-sama: "Yanarym?"

"Hmm?"

Guide-sama: "You’re quiet."

"I’m thinking, what’s the progression of the plot?"

Guide-sama: "The protagonists are starting to interact. While the original and her boyfriend have been together for three years."

"I see, the graduation is next year."

Guide-sama: "You are so calm, your situation is not good, remember that you cannot alter the original’s persona, right?"

"I have the acting skills, don’t worry about that."

Guide-sama: "If so, how can you make the male lead fall in love with that personality?"

The storyline focused on how smart and hard-working Gale was, the female protagonist. She was dependable and reliable for everyone, her seriousness regarding her future made those people who surrounded her motivated to strive hard for themselves.

While her best friend, the original, Yanarym’s character was her complete opposite. In the book, her characteristic was perceived as a fool - a gullible girl, who was dependent on people around her to live. Because of that, there was a contrast between Gale and the original. It’s like when you see a beautiful man but see another man that was a lot more beautiful. You couldn’t help but compare the two different people, and later, label the first person as an average beauty. In their case, Gale was too smart and strong a woman, she could do anything by herself - while the original was leeching off to her boyfriend. Although the original does good at school, being friends with the top one makes you dumb even if you’re top twenty.

It’s just when the standards were already set too high, it’s not easy to prove your worth to the people around you even when you do your bestest.

The story behind that, the original was a well-off child, and the female lead was an orphan from the start. However, when entering college, the original’s parents died in a plane crash. All of their wealth was handed over to her other relatives, they claimed all of her supposed to be possession and riches. The amount that was only left to her was enough to pay her tuition for her graduation and a little more to keep her alive until she got a job.

Her relatives called her a bonehead, all beauty with no brains for giving away her rights for the lands, houses, and the money that was owned by their family. Her parent’s house was sold off by her mother’s brother without her knowledge, even if she had, she wouldn’t do anything.

She was a dependent, child-like, unreliable, and immature one. If there wasn’t someone who would take care of her, she wouldn’t be able to live -- that was what everyone thought.

Somehow, Yanarym has a different view regarding the original. There was no fool in her, the original was a very intellectual woman. If not, Yanarym won’t like her at all.

The original knew everything, and she rode along with the people who kept controlling her. She was not voiceless, she chose not to speak, she chose to be the pitiful one. There’s that difference between intentional and unintentional actions. After all, the best way to manipulate others was to make them think that they were manipulating the victim. But in fact, it was the victim who was manipulating them.

In the original’s life, there was Spencer, her boyfriend. Her live-in partner for, according to Guide-sama, they’ve been living together for two years. The main culprit of manipulating the original’s life - was what the other fans said.

In the original’s past life, more than Gale and Hansel, the female lead and the male lead, the couple- Spencer and the original were deeply rooted by the fandom of the book. Why not? They have great chemistry, it was a magical and frustrating pair of lovers, also kind of a mystery box.

Based on the back story, Spencer and the original met each other on the first day of being a college student, both of them were classmates in their first period. Spencer noticed her first. She was bright and had a beautiful smile, and the girls in her room surrounded her. She gives the vibe where you want to get closer to her because she was comfortable to be with. Also, she was easily exploited by others. He saw how the girls were taking interest in her stuff and she just gave it away, whenever they were in the cafeteria she would offer to buy them their meals. Her so-called friends from the first day were back-stabbing her, chit-chatting, and making fun of her stupidity with other people.

Normally, Spencer won’t take an interest of liking in someone dumb and weak. For him, that was the most irritating kind of people, the stupid ones. Nevertheless, Spencer was curious too, that was why, he kept on inquiring to his flings, the fake friends of the original, regarding the original. Then, one of his classmates started to have a bet if anyone can make her their girlfriend by the end of the month.

And as the greatest playboy on the circle, he participated in the bet. After making a few moves with her, he could see how awkward she was when he was around. No -- when boys were around, she didn’t feel romantic but scared. He was so eager to make her his girl that the other participants of the bet decided to just back down. To make her feel safe and secure with him.

If he was not lowkey threatening the other boys in the bet to back down, he would bully them to stop coming to the original.
