World After Worlds
Chapter 354 - 354: § EXTENDED VACATION §

"God! Why is it so hot today!?"

Guide–sama: "It rained yesterday, that must be why."

"A rain in the summer. The most annoying season, huh."

Yanarym liked snow and cold places. Heat, sweating, sticky, irritating sensation—she hated it. Not that she loathed summer, she just preferred winter. On summer days, she had to do nothing, oh, she really needed vacation at this time.

"I should probably take a break, right?"

Guide-sama: "What do you mean? You just had a vacation with Matteo on the space."

"Well, I will extend it."

Guide-sama: "..."

"For now, ah, let's talk with these guys." She directed her eyes to the three men standing at the front gate. When the main leads are swerving from the original plot. The other characters were playing their roles. Joey, Justine, and Rammne.

Yanarym stared at those who were facing their backs to her. This was the timeline where they were still gathering 'courage' to approach her. Yesterday's event in the cafeteria made their resolution heightened a little. These boys…

She cannot wait for them to act, it would take them another month before they took initiative to approach her. When that happened, that original was already blackened, she was already determined to make the three leads suffer.

She massaged her temple, she was probably too hot today because they kind of looked annoying for her. She breathed in and out and put on her smile, "This is the last act before I go on my vacation." She murmured to herself and walked towards them.

"I see you again." She talked to Joey, who was supposed to be familiar with her. The three of them were stunned at their spot as soon as she was done speaking, guessing that they recognized her voice. "You… probably don't know me but, I'm Yanarym, hi." She stuck with her character which was proud and pessimistic. She resonated her voice with hush yet heavy air, with a tint of friendliness and authority.

How do those kinds of people approach someone? That kind of person doesn't usually approach anyone. Unless they are in desperate need.

"R-rym?" It was Rammne who turned around first. She gave a brief smile to him and nodded her head.

"She's talking to me," Rammne whispered to who-knows-who. "Rym's in front of me, she's talking to me."

The original had die-hard fans. They were these guys. The reason why the mana-less original managed to create a curse for the main leads was these guys. Like any villain, the original was only featured doing her 'evil deeds'. Those who followed the evil naturally could not be featured, no one wants them.

In the original's memory, these three were very unconditional to her, it seemed that they worship her, for whatever reason it may be. The original never asked why they do things for her. And the three of them did not tell.

Yanarym has Guide-sama read their minds and honestly, it all started with a simple adoration and turned into a very loyal ending.

All of them were smart, really smart. The top of their class was treated as if invisible. The three were searching where they could belong, and there was one particular reason why the original attracted them. By winning the quiz bee, the four of them were participants and the original beat them all.

Attraction.

The three of them were relatable to the original. Everyone might be different from one another but they felt most similar to the original. She and they were all orphans, adopted into a family that could not understand them.

Attachment.

The connection between them did not need lust. They liked her however, lust was not present in their connection. Maybe it was not loved, not that kind of love. The original received unconditional love.

And like how every story goes, the minions, which was them, were the first ones to die. The original did not cry for them, she was sad though. She just could not bring herself to mourn for them, because she was the next in line on the death door.

Since Kraig was almost tamed, Joey and Justine most likely lessened their probability to die. Rammne who was killed by Lyndon would mostly like to die first between the three of them. The good news about their fate, Yanarym decided not to become an evil witch who would attempt to murder the female lead and curse the male lead.

However, she did not know if she should dodge the part where she had to gain the ability to create potions. After all, the original task was to be recognized as the potion expert. Once she involved them, it would not be good for them.

She was unsure of what the future might hold for her, especially for the three of them. They still could die just by giving her that invention they created.

"I read a portion of your graduation paper. It says you need a participant that has no ability and is mana-less. If you are still in need of a—"

"We do! We do! Are you willing to partake?"

She thoroughly pondered the situation. She needed them. She would be a hypocrite if she decided to save their lives and get on the hard way by not dragging them into the mess. It may be a pain but she had to get them on board. She cannot let them go.

She sighed, she will take responsibility for their happy ending as well. "Yes, please." She slightly bobbed her head and the three of them faced her.

That's it. Vacation Time for me.

Five months later she would date Kraig in the morning 'till sunset. She would meet up with Lyndon twice a week and something might happen between them. At night, every night, Matteo would covet her.

She let the things unfold in her eyes while she was focused on learning about chemistry magic, making potions was mostly something she could perform since she has no magic within this body. Although Matteo would lend her some energy whenever they were together, she couldn't use them outside the space.

Tiana and Lyndon were on good terms, by good terms, meaning Lyndon was succeedingly regaining his place at her heart. On the other hand, Kraig totally ignored Tiana. And when Tiana told Lyndon to seduce Yanarym, he chose to twist Tiana's words for her to take back that command.

Everything was harmonious and nothing was happening out of ordinary, except Yanarym could distinguish the changes she caused. With the help of Lyndon's influence, the lie of Tiana where she was pretending to be an azkin, was not given a big deal.

In any way, although the truth was revealed, Tiana remained the 'celebrity' of the town. Her name was famous because someone was discreetly spreading rumors that she was Azkin's reincarnation. No one condemned her for her fallacy of pretending to be a cursed person for this reason.

The plot of the story in this timeline was supposed to be where the three had already been cursed by the original and had no choice but to join forces to find out who inflicted the curse.

But fortunately, they were not cursed, or on any journey together to fix the whole misunderstanding and have their way to a happy ending and to kill Yanarym.

"You've been busy these past few days," Yanarym uttered to Kraig, he was hugging her in his arms as they were sitting in front of the fireplace. "Is there something I can do to help you?"

Kraig gazed at their hands holding together. He rested his chin and her shoulder and skimmed his lips to her cheeks.

"Do you feel neglected? I'm sorry Love, I will make it up to you after everything is done, I promise." He said in a gentle voice. She turned her head to face him and smiled.

"No, I don't feel neglected, Love. I'm just worried you overworked yourself." He gave her a smack on her lips and her nose gazed at her dazzling eyes…

"My girlfriend is so caring and sweet, I wonder what did I do to deserve you," he mumbled, "I love you."

"I love you too." He kissed her again but because of the thoughts in his head, he couldn't get further than kissing her.

He was already in the process of destroying Lyndon's family. He would expose their corrupted nature to the public, although he couldn't do anything about Tiana, he will surely make Lyndon lose every reason to be happy.

Doing it all by himself was complicated, and not telling anything to Yanarym was more difficult and made him guilty as well. He was aware that he was spending less time with her because he was doing something important regarding his revenge.

Nevertheless, he doesn't want to make her feel neglected, that was the least he wanted to make her feel. But she's been compassionate and devoted even though he was busy.

Today, he was aiming to tell her everything from the past to his plans. They've been together long enough for him to trust her. And he doesn't want to leave her in the dark any further.

"Love, there's something I am meaning to tell you," Yanarym peered at him, and creased her brows.

She knows, there's nothing she couldn't figure out about this man. Even without Guide-sama's dissertation, she would know.
