Chapter 397: 393 Hurry up and start fighting.

Next, Anima sought out Shane once more.

However, this time, Anima was not only trying to argue one last time for the chance to take Lilith away, but also proposed to Shane the idea of him visiting the Divine World as a guest.

"Please be assured, though there are indeed many uncertainties surrounding the Hero Summoning, there is no doubt that you are the Hero, and we of the Divine Race will not harm the Hero. Please trust at least this point," Anima added, perhaps worried that Shane might have unnecessary suspicion and anxiety about the invitation.

"Of course, I hope to have Mr. Shane’s assistance, and if you could help us investigate the matter concerning Hero Summoning, the Divine Race would be eternally grateful," Anima said very earnestly.

The attitude of the Life Goddess was quite sincere, and she positioned herself very humbly, without a hint of the arrogance often found at the pinnacle of the Divine Race, treating Shane with great respect. It was evident she held a great deal of esteem and kindness toward the Hero.

Shane had heard that among the Divine Race, the characters of the Three Great Goddesses at the apex were all exceptionally benevolent. The Goddess of Fate, the Nature Goddess, and the Life Goddess were known to be compassionate and kind, not putting on any airs.

Therefore, Shane felt quite fond of Anima’s sincerity and respect.

Considering this, Shane didn’t outright refuse the offer.

"I might visit in the future, but for now, I have some matters that need to be dealt with," Shane responded.

Originally, Shane had many questions about his own summoning.

He had always been concerned about whether there were complex schemes and whirlpools hidden behind the scenes.

Although Luoqi was helping Shane investigate, she was very busy herself, and given the many secrets behind this matter, there had not been much progress.

Thus, Shane thought about taking the opportunity to visit the Divine World himself later on, to thoroughly investigate the issue.

"In that case, we shall await you in the Divine World," Anima seemed to have braced herself for rejection when she made the invitation, so Shane not immediately declining was indeed a pleasant surprise to her.

Consequently, Anima handed over a Token to Shane, claiming that if he brought this Token to any Temple in the Human Realm, he could travel to the Divine World.

"Does every Temple in the Human Realm have a passage to the Divine World?" Shane asked, intrigued as he accepted the Token.

Anima gave Shane an affirmative answer.

"Because the Temples themselves are grand sacred places, with their layout, structure, and environmental elements all serving as part of the magic ceremonies communicating with the Divine World. Every Temple in the deepest parts of the Human Realm has a gate to the Divine World, unless the structure of the Temple is not up to the requirement," Anima explained.

Anima shared that the reason why the children of the Human Race go to the Temples for Blessings is because the Goddesses from the Divine World would come through the gates to the Human Realm to select children who possess talents that match their own domains, and then bestow Blessings upon them.

Moreover, the Temple where Lilith was sealed was also capable of communicating with the Divine World, opening the gate to the Divine World, so that the Divine Race could descend at any time if there were issues with the Sealing, in order to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, while the Temple emerged in the present world, it was damaged in terms of its intended structure, hence it could not function to connect with the Divine World, leading to Anima needing some time to get here.

Anima also mentioned that this might have been the doing of the Old Demon Clan Faction intentionally.

Otherwise, she could have directly descended from the Dark Temple, stopped everything, or sent another Goddess to handle the situation, making it much less troublesome.

That being said, although this incident caused quite a stir, the final outcome could not be considered bad by any means.

After all, Jade was returned successfully, and the Evil God Lilith was at long last made whole, which solved a significant hidden danger and resolved an issue that had plagued the Divine Race for nearly ten thousand years.

As for Shane, naturally, there’s no need to say further – his reward was self-evident: the Evil God Lilith herself.

This Evil Goddess now still could not speak, and her Reason was not so easily fully matured.

But considering how clingy she was, Shane thought that even if he tried to send her away, she would not leave.

Anima could only helplessly give up and let Lilith temporarily stay by Shane’s side.

"What do you mean, ’temporarily’?" Ai Yi was quite direct, "This girl has already entrusted her True Seal; do you even expect her to go back?"

That was the rationale of it.

Anima found herself at a loss for words.

In the end, Anima could only sigh.

"Well, following the Hero, for us of the Divine Race, is not such an uncommon occurrence," Anima finally conceded and readied herself to leave, to manage the aftermath of this incident, dispatching people to negotiate with Mitra Kingdom and Ragna Empire, while planning her return to the Divine World.

Before leaving, Anima seemed to cast a deep glance at Laischa, who looked uneasy.

"I’ll let you off this time; if you break into the Divine World again without permission, it won’t be so simple to settle, okay?" she said.

This statement left Laischa looking quite disgruntled.

"So, you’ve been missing without a trace recently because you ran off to the Divine World?" Shane was quite surprised to hear this.

Who would have thought that Laischa would just glare resentfully at Shane.
