Who Designed This Underworld Dungeon?

Chapter 511: Chapter 350: Praise the Generous Sain

When the neatly arranged names of over forty dungeons appeared before them, it was inevitable that the adventurers would be shocked.

Because behind each name there seemed to be a starting supply kit, and if one were to guess, it would probably be some kind of equipment or items, right?

However, nothing is marked above, so what everyone can actually receive is completely unknown.

But the information that surged into their minds next made them understand the situation at hand.

"This is a mutation produced by the alliance of dungeons..."

Sain Dungeon did not openly tell them what exactly this mutation was about, but perceptive people could see that all these named dungeons must have undergone some change, so it seems related to the meteor shower?

This is an unprecedented situation, even an adventurer like Fingerley at the Gold Level was shocked.

"I’ve read about events where several dungeons mutated together, but that was over two hundred years ago," Matilda said, so shocked that her helmet melted into her armor, revealing a face with a cool, big sister-next-door look "And the largest recorded mutation involved... thirty-two dungeons!"

The Bone Stick Team erupted with exaggerated cries; dragging them into the dungeon was really the right decision, this group is truly professional at creating an atmosphere!

"In other words, we are witnessing history, aren’t we."

Fingerley excitedly whistled and glanced at the ever-escalating Glory Stele, unhesitatingly choosing the starting supply from Sain Dungeon.

They had already learned that these supply kits can be retrieved anew every seven hours, and after revival, the cooldown is cleared, allowing immediate retrieval. This rule was established after discussions between the city lords.

Due to the event, these forty-odd dungeons would temporarily change their closure to midnight and reopening to three in the morning, opening twenty-one hours a day. This means adventurers could receive supplies three times if they stay the full duration inside.

This rule was devised based on the city lords’ experiences, because when their adventurers die they would be teleported to the Resurrection House, meaning they’d have to wait until the next day to enter again.

It seems they forgot about a certain anomaly when setting the rules.

This is a way for the dungeons to promote themselves, displayed upfront, most simply and directly. The spiritual power consumed by the supply kits is borne by Red Teeth Dungeon, but they’ve stipulated a "price" for the kits, with each one not exceeding the spiritual power limit.

Even so, the estimated spiritual power for these kits is a frightening number. Can Red Teeth alone, or rather one dragon, take it all on?

It can, but it would result in some bleeding, so before sensing the meteor shower’s arrival, it was constantly going for wild kills, and robbed assets from nearly ten dungeons located in the Western Continent.

Everyone knows what resides in the Western Continent, so it’s fair to say that this time-limited event received a friendly sponsorship from the Demon Clan.

Since they could repeatedly claim supplies, Fingerley of course wanted to first see what good things Sain Dungeon would offer its loyal adventurers.

A flash of white light, and things familiar to those who frequent Sain Dungeon appeared in his embrace. Upon carefully counting them...

Two Red and White Elf Balls, one boiled Happiness Egg, and two Enemy Attraction Skulls.

"I see, the Enemy Attraction Skull is used to lure Little Meteors, the Elf Ball is for capturing, what does the Happiness Egg do, eat?"

The first two guesses were correct, but the real purpose of the Happiness Egg is... ice!

These three are the most common items, with the Elf Ball being slightly more valuable, but Happiness Eggs have recently been trending towards appearing in large quantities, now priced at roughly the equivalent of twenty eggs, as for the Enemy Attraction Skull, both Fran Fort and the Casas Underground Tomb have fixed spawn locations.

"Not particularly surprising, but feels very practical." Fingerley waved toward the sky, saying, "Thanks, Sain."

Elsa walked over and also chose the Sain package, or rather she hadn’t ever considered choosing another dungeon, in a sense, she’s also a hardcore fan of Sain.

"This is the first time I’ve benefited without work in Sain Dungeon." The adventurers of the Bone Stick Team were somewhat excited; free things are wonderful, a never-changing ironclad truth.

Since Fingerley demonstrated the outcome of choosing Sain, they wanted to test what other dungeons would offer.

"I had no idea it would be that Red Teeth Dungeon full of Flying Dragons, I absolutely wouldn’t dare challenge there." Someone chose Red Teeth’s supply, inside was a drop of Red Flying Dragon Blood to temporarily strengthen physical prowess, a drop of Blue Flying Dragon Blood to temporarily boost speed, and a drop of Green Flying Dragon Blood to temporarily enhance observation.

Someone picked the supply from Giant Stone Dungeon, consisting of a pile of stones capable of tracking enemies or weaknesses, also magical items, plus randomly precious minerals.

Someone took the Sticky Dungeon supply, containing sticky mass capable of restricting enemy actions, and a Big King Slime Crystal, priced comparable to gemstones.

Someone opted for the Unihorn Dungeon supply, consisting of rainbow-colored trinkets, Rainbow Unicorn’s horn, stones, fur, and... excrement?

"It’s said Unicorn excrement attracts opposite-sex monsters... but I definitely won’t be choosing this thing again! Absolutely not!"
