Chapter 69: Chapter 69 Agreement Reached (1)

Thinking of this, Huo Bingxuan’s gloomy mood for the entire night immediately vanished.

Seeing her happy, Huo Boxuan was also happy.

Actually, he had his own selfish motives. The Huo Family was no longer as splendid as it appeared. If Bing Xuan could marry into the Lin Family, it would certainly be good for the Huo Family.

Both siblings had ulterior motives, yet they never considered that Young Master Lin had absolutely no interest in Miss Huo.

After the party ended that night, Lin Mubai did not return to An Nan’s place. Instead, he went home with Xi Shaoqi. On the way back, while driving, Xi Shaoqi was filled with questions: "Young Master Lin, you have a place to stay, why come to my house?"

Calling it a house was merely referring to his own apartment outside. Sometimes when he had social engagements at night or simply didn’t want to return to the Xi family mansion, he’d stay here temporarily.

In the passenger seat, the man being questioned still looked calm and unperturbed, as if the question wasn’t directed at him: "I just don’t want to go back."

That apartment carried the scent of that little woman, and tonight he didn’t know what was wrong with himself; he simply didn’t want to face it.

"Alright, alright, if you don’t want to go back, then don’t."

This night was destined to leave more than one person sleepless.

Shortly after Lin Mubai left, An Nan came out of her room, and in the quiet living room, she could sense that the little man had indeed left. Her heart inexplicably felt heavy but quickly swept the thought away: "Stop thinking about that person."

An Nan only felt herself becoming very strange, yet she never thought about asking that man to leave. She just felt she should make an agreement with him, first of all, no kissing her whenever he wants.

With the annoying matters resolved, An Nan’s mood immediately improved. She then noticed she was hungry. Soon she found a sumptuous meal in the kitchen, heated it in the microwave, and enjoyed a satisfying dinner.

After eating, she sat on the sofa in the living room watching TV, occasionally glancing towards the door and always withdrawing her gaze in disappointment. This action continued until eleven at night, still not seeing anyone come back, which made An Nan furious: "Damn bastard, out this late and not returning, where the hell is he fooling around."

Taking out her phone, finding that not so familiar number, just about to dial, she hesitated: "Why should I call him and ask if he’s coming back; if he doesn’t return, then so be it."

After muttering softly, An Nan casually tossed the phone onto the coffee table and got up to walk to her room.

That night, An Nan woke up numerous times to check the guest room, only to find Lin Mubai hadn’t returned. Her anger grew more intense.

It was only at four in the morning that she managed to sleep groggily, waking up again at eight.

The first thing upon waking was to rush out of her room, arrive at the doorway of the guest room, and without hesitation, push open the tightly closed door. The cold and damp air hit her face, confirming that the person hadn’t come back last night.

Stayed out all night? Really good?

Young Master Lin was frustrated. He clearly said before leaving that he might not return tonight, clearly informed them, so how was this staying out all night?

The kitchen was also cold and empty, without any hot breakfast, which worsened An Nan’s mood.

She was completely unaware that Young Master Lin had only been staying for two days, and despite one night spent out, she was already profoundly affected.

The entire day, An Nan did nothing but sit in the living room in a daze.
