Chapter 185: Zia_L is Back!
Samuel sat back in his chair, his fingers drumming lightly on the edge of the table. The notification lingered on his screen, but his thoughts were far from ordinary. A plan was forming in his mind—one he couldn’t ignore.
He glanced at Timmy, who seemed lost in thought, staring at his phone as if he were waiting for something—perhaps a message or a call.
"Timmy," Samuel said, his voice breaking through the hum of the room.
Timmy immediately looked up. "Yes, boss?"
"Clear my schedule for the rest of the afternoon," Samuel instructed, his tone firm but calm.
Timmy blinked in surprise. "Everything, sir?"
"Yes," Samuel said without hesitation. "I have something important to take care of."
Timmy didn’t press further. He nodded and pulled out his phone, already sending messages to reschedule Samuel’s meetings.
---
Meanwhile, Zinnia was in her studio, setting up for her livestream. She pulled a stool toward her easel, arranging her paints and brushes meticulously. The anticipation of reconnecting with her fans gave her a sense of purpose she hadn’t felt in weeks.
Her phone buzzed again with a flurry of notifications. The excitement in the comments was palpable, even through the screen.
"Goddess Zia is back! We missed you!"
"Can’t wait to see what you’ll paint today!"
"Little Flowers are blooming again!"
Zinnia smiled at the messages. She tapped on a reply, her fingers moving swiftly over the keyboard. "Thank you all for your love and patience! Let’s create something beautiful together."
She placed her phone aside and looked at the blank canvas in front of her. A thought crossed her mind. What should I paint today?
Her eyes wandered back to Samuel’s portrait. Her lips curved into a smile, and she let out a soft chuckle. "Maybe something inspired by him..." she murmured.
---
Samuel stood by the large windows in his office, looking out over the city. His phone buzzed with updates from Timmy, confirming his cleared schedule. But his focus wasn’t on work. It was on Zinnia.
He knew her livestream would begin soon, and though he had no intention of interrupting it, he saw this as an opportunity. If she was reconnecting with her passion, it was the perfect time for him to step up and show her how much she meant to him.
He picked up his phone and made a call. "Hello, it’s me. I need something delivered immediately."
The conversation was short but purposeful. When he hung up, his resolve was stronger than ever.
The afternoon passed in a blur for Timmy. He sat in the office, occasionally glancing at the clock as he tried to distract himself from the thoughts racing through his head.
Then, his phone buzzed. A message from Samuel.
"Go ahead and log in to your account. Goddess Zia will be live soon."
Timmy’s brow furrowed. "What?"
He stared at the phone screen for a moment, reading the message again. The last part about Goddess Zia caught his attention. Was his boss—was Samuel—asking him to watch a livestream?
Timmy quickly navigated to his account, logging into the fan club page with his username, Tiny_Grasshopper. His fingers hovered over the keyboard, trying to make sense of it all while murmuring to himself, "Here we go again."
He looked up at Samuel, who was now sitting at his desk with a focused expression, as if preparing for an important meeting. But instead of reviewing documents, Samuel’s eyes were glued to his phone.
Timmy couldn’t help but stare. Was his boss seriously going to spend the afternoon watching a livestream?
"Mr. Sunshine is at it again," Timmy muttered under his breath as he watched Samuel’s fingers moving rapidly across the phone.
Samuel’s username on the fan club page, "Mr. Sunshine," had become famous for his constant praise and admiration for Zia_L, the artist who had captured the attention of so many, including Samuel himself.
Timmy watched in silence as Samuel typed out several enthusiastic messages.
"Finally back, Goddess Zia!"
"I can’t wait for your livestream today. We’ve missed you so much!"
"Your paintings always amaze me, can’t wait to see what you create today!"
"I’m so proud to be part of this journey with you, Goddess Zia. You inspire us all!"
As Timmy read the comments pouring in, he couldn’t help but chuckle at how seriously Samuel was taking it. There was no doubt in Timmy’s mind now—his boss was completely invested in this.
The page was soon flooded with messages from fans, each one praising Zia_L, their Goddess.
"Mr. Sunshine is on it again!"
"Look at the president of our fan club! Always so supportive!"
"I’m so glad Goddess Zia is back! We’ve missed her so much!"
"Let’s make sure our Goddess knows how much we adore her!"
Timmy watched as Samuel’s grin widened. He couldn’t hide his joy as the comments piled up.
Then, Samuel typed something else.
"To those who contribute the most comments during the livestream, we’re giving away a limited edition merchandise inspired by Zia_L’s latest painting. You’ll also get an all-expenses-paid trip to the capital for a week, including a tour of Zia_L’s gallery. And there’s more—VIP access to upcoming events and exclusive art previews."
Timmy’s jaw dropped. He had to read it again to make sure he wasn’t imagining things.
Samuel wasn’t just watching a livestream; he was orchestrating an entire campaign to celebrate Zia_L. And those lucky enough to engage with her in the livestream would be rewarded with a trip to see her artwork firsthand.
Timmy was left speechless, his mind spinning with the implications of what he had just read.
"This is crazy," he muttered. "He’s going all out again!"
He glanced over at Samuel, who was now typing even faster, his face lighting up with each new comment from fans.
Samuel didn’t notice Timmy’s stare. He was too focused on the fan club page, adding even more messages, keeping the conversation flowing.
"Can’t wait to see you on livestream today, Goddess Zia!"
"You always inspire me, Zia! Keep creating beautiful things."
"This community is stronger than ever because of you, Goddess Zia. We’re all so grateful."
Timmy shook his head. Samuel then noticed him. "Come on, Timmy, you’re not joining in the comments?"
---
Two hours later, Zinnia sat before the camera, the lights in her studio casting a warm glow over her. Her smile was bright as the livestream began, and thousands of viewers poured in.
"Hi, Little Flowers!" she greeted, waving at the camera. "It feels so good to be back. I’ve missed you all so much."
