The scheduled release time is confirmed, which is the day after tomorrow—Thursday the 19th at 12 noon. Then I looked at it, there are over 270,000 words in the public period, which is a bit less than expected, but it’ll do!

This is my first time writing a historical web novel, mainly because I’m unwilling to settle and want to try different themes to see if I can improve myself—people always need to step out of their comfort zones, right? Once you step out and then back in, there is surely some progress.

Just staying in the comfort zone, judging from my years of life experience, seems like people become useless. In terms of web novels, it would be like being abandoned by friends.

After all, the tastes of readers are constantly improving. If writers don’t keep up with the times and constantly seek new changes, they’ll hit a dead end sooner or later.

So I’m still wishfully thinking that I can improve in the future, trying to delay the time when everyone abandons me, make my part-time career last a bit longer to earn more money, so I gave it a try, and ended up making a mess. But once the Bow is drawn, there’s no turning back; I still have to do my best to achieve the best and strive to write a good ending so at least I have no regrets.

Of course, the main issue is with the pacing. The niche subject matter forced me to include some boring explanations, otherwise, the later parts would be incomprehensible, which made the first two volumes somewhat dull. But I hope it gets better later on. The protagonist will be forced into chaotic wars, will manage his own territory, will fight independently, will marry an age-undisclosed princess to keep at home, along with a household ninja brawl among four ninjas. It should be somewhat interesting, but no guarantees. I haven’t written it yet, so who knows, it might be very uninteresting.

Anyway, I’ll give it my all! I’ll try to finish this book well and then go back to fix mistakes!

So, consider these my words before release; I won’t post them again on Thursday. At noon, I’ll release the first subscription Chapter (based on previous experience, there might be some delay, and the word count might be a bit less). I will release a scheduled update at 5:30 PM, and then another update normally around eight or nine in the evening. From then on, there will be two updates a day with approximately 7,000 words, and I’ll see if I can catch up with the additional updates owed to alliance leaders during standby or rest periods.

This is my utmost capability. I still have to work during the day and can only do part-time writing at night, which results in working 14-15 hours a day. I should manage, but any more would be too much, so I ask for your understanding.

Since I’m in this state, I definitely can’t ask for votes; we basically didn’t ask for votes before. Others request votes by adding more content, I really can’t, but for the first subscriptions... I still hope everyone can support as much as possible. If you really don’t like it or can’t support it, that’s okay, maybe you’ll like the next book.

Anyway, this is it. My reputation is ruined now, and I’m trying to be a better person. Saying too much isn’t good, so please just observe my future performance!
