Leave aside the nonsensical plot armor of the "AI Chip". It does not require a 25 year old with a working frontal lobe to detect the plot holes in this novel. I have sacrificed a lot of time just to see where the story would go. Sadly, it didn't go anywhere. I guess the author just got tired of thinking up of ideas and decide to make the story repetitive and boring. (MC enters a new world, save a citizen in danger, citizen owes MC a favor then proceeds to level up yada yada yada)Almost every fight is abstract and predictable which is the biggest crime this novel has to offer. It's a Xianxia novel for gods sake, how do you screw up the one thing you're supposed to be good at. Battles usually goes: Enemy supposedly is stronger than the MC, than MC suprises them with secret move or some other bullshit up his sleeves, then enemy is surprised why MC is so strong. The characters are extremely shallow, they don't possess any motives, or goals. they're just there to be there which makes the story extremely linear and 1 dimensional. To note, some of the characters don't even have a purpose in the story other than to serve as the MC's personal sex toy. The dialogues are completely trash, reading it gives me brain aneurysm. In one scene, the MC is asked a question, "are you a degenerate?" and to quote verbatim, "Have I turned into a degenerate? Would you like to find out?" Leylin closed in with a naughty smile on his face and ruthlessly sniffed her fair neck...... I think the whole world collectively face palmed and felt second hand embarassment from reading this alone. It feels like this novel is written by a 14 year old edgy for 14 year old edgy kids. The story is never coherent. The only redeeming quality of this story is the vast and interesting world building; Magus World, Purgatory World, Subterranean World, World of Gods etc. Sadly, wasted on an incoherent and boring story.

PS, if you're wondering if this novel is similar to Reverend Insanity, this is the shittier version of it. AI Chip is basically just Wisdom Gu, and the MC is much more of a wuss and less entertaining than Fang Yuan.

This novel is actually well written and although some of the plots are a little cliche I enjoyed the journey of our MC.

In the beggening it a little childish , but get better and better with each chapter .

I also enjoyed the realism . Even with the chip , our MC is not all of the sudden OP , he still needs to accumulate knowledge , experience setbacks and grow .

Although our MC is a little evil and is an EGOIST , that also the selling part of the story , he is not a knight filled with rightousness face slapping brain dead oppenens , but a cunning man striving for his goalq will navigating bettween allies and opponents that are smart and dangerous.

This was an enjoyable read for me and I do reccomend , it for those who like to see stable progress of skill and caracter

An incredibly long story, which makes it have some slower moments and a few unresolved issues. Yet as a whole, it's a very satisfying read, with interesting world(s), multiple shakeups taking the reader out of his comfort zone and a great protagonist.

Review: Warlock of the Magus World Brutal. Intelligent. Unapologetically dark.

Warlock of the Magus World isn’t your average cultivation novel. It throws away the usual tropes of righteousness and morality in favor of raw ambition, cold logic, and survival of the fittest. At the center of it all is Leylin Farlier, a protagonist who doesn’t pretend to be good — and that’s exactly what makes him so unforgettable.

This is a story about power in its purest form. Leylin’s journey isn’t about friendship, romance, or redemption. It’s about climbing over corpses, mastering forbidden knowledge, and ascending through sheer will and calculation. He's a scientist first, a warlock second, and a manipulator always.

What truly sets this novel apart is the world-building. From ancient magi ruins to interdimensional realms, from twisted soul experiments to gene-modified warlocks — the universe feels cold, vast, and terrifyingly real. The author, The Plagiarist, builds a setting where every breakthrough comes at a cost, and nothing is sacred.

Yes, it’s not for everyone. It’s morally grey, often disturbing, and doesn’t care about making the reader feel comfortable. But that’s its strength. If you want a power fantasy where the protagonist plays by society’s rules, look elsewhere. If you want something that dives deep into dark science, evolution, soul manipulation, and cold ambition, this is the book for you.

It was good but rushed due to the usual banning troupe the editors always have going on when the novel is getting a little too evil and real.Like if he was running a harem and cuckold people while performing this acts it would have been longer 😂 so don't blame the author

An MC that reincarnates when he was 30, fucks a 13 year old. 500 years later fucks another 13 year old for funsies. Worse reads OAT. Dogshit characters, dogshit plot, was only here for the world building.

This is by no means a masterpiece but when viewing it from the perspective of a lightnovel and a an old one at that I doubt you could find a better powerfantasy. This combines multiple Magic systems and somehow makes it coherent. Sure if you go through this book will a fine comb you will find plotholes and some weird stuff. But I don't think it deserves to be discarded when hot garbage like martial peak and martial god asura exist.

Man I Remember reading this and thinking I found something good To pass time The Sun was Rising like never before (nah It was actually raining But I like the rain more than the sun) And then bam they add the part where he had s#x with a kid that is 13 years old..(This was my reaction by the way well middle reading)

And then I just stopped reading the book for like 6 months

But than Some people said (you're missing out on peak bro He never does that s*it again I swear)

And they lied🥀 he dose that s*it again but this time he was like 500 years old and they Add more detail like They tell us that he like having s#x with Multiple underage girls and at multiple times a week And in every week Which was completely fucking unnecessary btw

(I mean honestly I really didn't read it because they said I was missing out on peak i actually read it because I don't know why but something about the POWER SYSTEM on ts novel Really made me read it)

And also this novel really doesn't have any Balance
