Chapter 1865: Section 1866: Law of All Things

"Do you want to make the Wilderness of Dreams more real? There are many selectable authority directions. Which one do you plan to choose?" A slightly magnetic deep male voice reached Frode’s ears.

He turned around and saw Sanders had appeared in the room without him realizing when. From Sanders’ question, it was clear he had heard Frode’s previous remarks.

Sanders’ question was indeed correct; the Dream Realm is highly malleable. Although the Wilderness of Dreams is not entirely the Dream Realm, malleability still exists. Whether developing towards the direction of illusion or towards reality, the Wilderness of Dreams can achieve it.

Of course, the premise is to possess the relevant authority.

And to make the Wilderness of Dreams more real, numerous relevant authorities exist. Just like Sanders hopes to construct the energy system of the Wilderness of Dreams, which is also a way to make the Wilderness of Dreams more real. For instance, the "Celestial Alternation" Frode previously wanted is similarly an authority tending towards reality.

Therefore, Sanders asked, in making the Wilderness of Dreams more real, which direction does Frode plan to develop?

Frode did not hesitate; evidently, he had long pondered this question and directly replied: "Law of All Things."

The Law of All Things Frode mentioned is similar to the reality, but completely incomparable, merely a pseudo law based on the Dream Realm system.

However, even as a pseudo law, the Law of All Things remains one of the core main laws in the Wilderness of Dreams.

And to completely bear such a main law, without legendary strength, it’s unsustainable. In other words, not only Frode but even Angel, Sanders, and even Monty, the currently known strongest wizard in the Southern Domain, couldn’t bear it.

Of course, Frode distinguishes reality well; what he speaks about is naturally not the complete Law of All Things but a subsidiary authority under it.

Just like the previously dissipated "Mist of Sin," which actually belongs to a subsidiary authority under the Law of All Things.

Sanders was not surprised upon hearing Frode’s answer. To make the Wilderness of Dreams more akin to the true world, the needed authorities indeed predominantly stem from the Law of All Things, just...

Sanders: "Which specific subsidiary authority from the Law of All Things do you want?"

When it came to detailed specifics, Frode’s expression hesitated slightly, and after pondering for a moment, he said: "Every time when I stand on the Sky Tower looking afar, all I see is an endless horizon, with no ups and downs, nor waves. So, I thought for a long time yesterday. Initially, I wanted the Wilderness of Dreams to not be so plain; I hoped it could have mountains, ravines, hills, plains..."

"However, later I thought, there’s not much need to demand such an authority for changing the terrain." Frode paused, looking at Sanders who was expressionless, "I figured, as long as Illusion Demon lets the Wilderness of Dreams have its energy system, altering the terrain wouldn’t be difficult."

Angel nodded; indeed, once one can bring the reality’s strength into the Wilderness of Dreams, whether mountains or valleys, they can be resolved... "And also, under the authority of Celestial Alternation, the Wilderness of Dreams isn’t as completely flat as you imagine now."

Frode couldn’t see it, but Angel, as the master of the Wilderness of Dreams, could easily observe the changes.

In certain regions, under Angel’s deliberate arrangement, endless rain started to appear, the land washed into height differences, and rivers and the sea even emerged. It’s like a nascent civilization undergoing primitive evolution.

And Angel, as the hidden hand of creation, is guiding the world’s progression.

Frode was startled for a moment, and after returning to his senses realized, what Celestial Alternation brings is certainly not merely sunshine and rain for Originheart City; its manipulability is too high... but, unfortunately, it’s not yet controlled.

"Since I don’t need terrain, I later thought about what kind of authority I should ask for." Frode: "Then, I saw the big trees by the roadside in Originheart City."

Currently, unless they are intelligent plants, none can enter the Wilderness of Dreams. So-called big trees naturally aren’t real trees but a kind of carving.

"You want the Wilderness of Dreams to have plants?" Angel asked.

Frode nodded: "Plants are fine, animals too, even insects; I hope to make the Wilderness of Dreams more lively."

Angel pondered for a moment; eerie entities like Mist of Sin can appear in the Wilderness of Dreams, hence wanting plants should also be feasible.

Thinking about this, Angel looked towards Sanders: "Frode’s request truly belongs to a subsidiary authority under the Law of All Things, but... can he bear it?"

Sanders was also pondering and after a long while, he said: "I need to calculate to see if he can endure it."

In Sanders’ view, if it were reality, the appearance of standalone plants without an ecological chain might cause big problems. But after all, the Wilderness of Dreams is not reality; based on the core of the Dream Realm, logically creating something from a lucid dream can be self-consistent, thus Frode might have a slight possibility to bear such authority.

"Probably within one to three days, I should be able to give you an answer." Sanders said, with the time depending on the number of variables this authority might have.

"I understand," Frode nodded. He also heard Angel mention Sanders recently had been studying the energy system, and then deduced a formula for bearing pseudo authority. Sanders wanted Frode to bear new authority also to gather more data to perfect this formula.

After discussing Frode’s new authority matter, Sanders and Angel casually chatted about the situation in the ruins.

Angel also took the opportunity to ask Sanders about the matter he previously forgot, regarding Tree Spirit.

"A knight’s armor engraved with a broken magic pattern?" Sanders pondered for a moment, shaking his head: "I’m not sure."

Sanders rose in eminence in the past two or three hundred years, while the ruins Angel resided in had been sealed more than eight hundred years ago; his knowledge was limited.

Angel sighed, it seemed he could only ask Tree Spirit next time.

Sanders didn’t say more, and as for the matter of the hidden room, he didn’t take it seriously. After all, whether the hidden room was real or not was unknown.

"I shall return to reality first; if there’s anything, you can find me at the Puppet Hospital." Sanders said, nodded to Angel, and his figure slowly disappeared.

Angel didn’t leave immediately but chatted with Frode on some topics, like asking Frode to look after Toby, not letting it get carried away playing with Tullas, inquiring about the preparation situation in New City, Lyon’s current situation, etc.

After chatting with Frode for about half an hour, Angel roughly understood the basic situation in Originheart City. Although there were some disturbances, they hadn’t crossed the line, so he was disinclined to manage.

Then, Angel went to see Jon, chatted with him about recent events, and finally left the Wilderness of Dreams.
