Time flew, and it was the next day.

Angel had talked with Sanders all night about the energy structure of the Wilderness of Dreams. He was about to return to his room to continue his research on supplemental transformation techniques when his communicator received a message from Glenn.

Twenty minutes later, Angel arrived at Hong Kui Square.

Hong Kui Square was situated on the edge of the main city area, a street leaning toward mortal shops, with many items for mortals’ daily lives as well as mortal residential areas. It was also the place with the highest vegetation coverage within the main city area of the Sky Mechanical City.

In a hidden grove, Angel found Glenn.

Glenn was sitting on a treetop, lost in thought. Below the tree, Allen was looking around anxiously. When he saw Angel, Allen’s eyes suddenly lit up.

"Where is the destroyed Magic Energy Eye?" Angel asked. He received Glenn’s message hoping that he could help dismantle a Magic Energy Eye.

"I have it here." Glenn jumped down from the treetop and handed a silver-white metallic sphere to Angel.

As Angel took it and started to examine it, he asked about the situation.

Glenn explained, "Here’s what happened..."

Turning back time to last evening, Glenn used his connections to seek clues of Irene’s whereabouts from all quarters. After spending an entire day searching, he finally caught a fleeting glimpse of Irene in the records of a Magic Energy Eye.

Irene appeared near the entrance of Hong Kui Square’s street at that time.

Judging by her direction, it seemed she was planning to enter Hong Kui Square.

"We previously asked around near the entrance of this street and found a member of the Enforcement Squad nearby. Through the recollection of his memories, he confirmed that he had seen Irene entering Hong Kui Square during the early part of the Drizzling Rain Month," Allen also added.

However, when they entered Hong Kui Square to continue their search for Irene’s whereabouts, they encountered a problem.

The Hong Kui Square leaned toward a mortal area, and there were no Enforcement Squad members nearby on normal days. There were only ten Magic Energy Eyes patrolling in total. They checked the Magic Energy Eyes and found that none of them had recorded Irene’s figure.

Just when Allen was about to go door to door to make inquiries in Hong Kui Square, Glenn noticed something wrong; during the Drizzling Rain Month, the records of the Magic Energy Eyes in Hong Kui Square showed eleven. It was only in the Blazing Fire Month that the number of Magic Energy Eyes in Hong Kui Square was reduced to ten. If Glenn were to dismantle it, the Signal Tower would inevitably send out a message to the main Signal Tower as he opened it, and at the same time, it would activate the Energy Furnace and Enforcement Thunder Zone, causing the Magic Energy Eye to self-destruct.

Glenn did the right thing by seeking out Angel.

However, Angel didn’t dare to touch the sections near the Micro Signal Tower now, since they were too complicated, and complete disassembly would require corresponding professional tools.

Allen had already gathered around Glenn, starting to look at the previous month’s Photostone records.

Since Angel had come anyway, he did not leave immediately but waited to see where Irene ended up going last.

As the gentle breeze blew and the dappled shadows of the trees flickered, Angel leisurely enjoyed a moment of time.

"Found it! Indeed, Irene had come to the area patrolled by the Magic Energy Eye!" Allen’s exclamations of surprise broke the tranquility.

Angel’s gaze also turned to the image released by the memory core, which showed a segment of the recording—

It was clear to see that the Magic Energy Eye was patrolling the sky. Below, Hong Kui Square was bustling with people, and as most of them were mortals, it looked just like any other mortal marketplace.

Without much intention, Irene walked into this place.

Because of her standout looks and aura, as soon as Irene appeared in the image, Allen spotted her.

The Magic Energy Eye did not scrutinize Irene closely, but its panoramic recording had laid out Irene’s trail of actions for all to see.

After Irene arrived in Hong Kui Square, she only visited one place, and after coming out of that place, she left the Square.

And that place was an unremarkable little shop.
