Chapter 465: Chapter 240 White Robed Arrow God_4
The Time Realm is a folded space, but if it were to unfold, it would be beneath Yellow Field Prefecture.
To enter the Time Realm, one must first go to Yellow Field Prefecture.
"If Young Master is heading to Yellow Field Prefecture, there’s a good chance he’ll find the River God."
The three of them were chatting when suddenly, the white shimmer on the ground vanished, and they appeared on East Market Street nineteen years ago.
"We’ve arrived."
Zhou Xuan remarked, as the Big Black Donkey beneath him suddenly reared up on its hind legs and let out a drawn-out cry reminiscent of a horse: "Aahhh-errr-aahhh."
"Big Black, you’re a donkey—why are you imitating a horse?"
Rearing up with a long neigh might look dignified and spirited on a great steed, but on the Big Black Donkey, Zhou Xuan could only find it awkward.
"Mo Tingsheng’s location has shifted again—he’s in Jing Country, eighteen years ago."
"Chase him." Zhou Xuan shouted again, "Stop."
This time, the Big Black Donkey charged forward with raised hooves; it felt deeply insulted by Zhou Xuan’s insinuation of "You’re a donkey, not a horse."
It wanted to prove that it was no worse than a horse.
If a horse could run fast, so could it.
"Whoa, whoa, Big Black, slow down! If you run yourself skinny, I won’t be able to explain it to Ya Zi."
The more Zhou Xuan shouted, the faster the Big Black Donkey ran in the Time-Space World, living up to the stubborn stereotype of donkeys: "Pull it, and it won’t move; prod it, and it retreats."
Within the span of this timeline, the Big Black Donkey dashed forward like a streak of lightning.
In no time at all, they entered the new Time-Space World. This time, Zhou Xuan wasted no moments. Without even dismounting the donkey, he pushed his Perception to the limit and let his Divine Soul embark on a Day Trip through the East Market Street of eighteen years ago, searching for Mo Tingsheng’s trail.
Divine Soul Day Trip, Heaven and Earth Extreme Speed—combined with Zhou Xuan’s meticulous scanning—it took less than half a minute before he locked onto Mo Tingsheng’s location.
East Market Street, surrounded by mountains on all sides,
Mo Tingsheng stood on the South Mountain outside the street, but as for the Evil God Guang Yin, Zhou Xuan found no trace of his presence,
nor did Zhou Xuan’s Day Patrol Deity locate the Hundred-Eyed High Priest.
"Only Mo Tingsheng is here?"
Zhou Xuan wasn’t convinced; at the very least, the Evil God Guang Yin had to be around.
His Divine Soul roamed the East Market Street two more times, but apart from Mo Tingsheng, he found no other figures.
Unable to locate anyone else, Zhou Xuan resigned himself to recalling his Divine Soul back to his body. He then said to Lord Jian, "Lord Jian, I only found Mo Tingsheng. He’s on the South Mountain, but there’s no sign of the Evil God."
"He’s hiding in a nearby pocket of space-time."
Lord Jian threw a wooden chest he was holding into the air. The chest hovered, opening automatically,
and the hardwood bow and golden feathered arrow flew directly into his hands.
"Within the Time-Space World, how could an Evil God dare to oppose me?"
Lord Jian drew the bow and nocked an arrow, shooting a precise first shot beneath Mo Tingsheng’s feet.
When Mo Tingsheng spotted the arrow, he immediately reacted, glancing at East Market Street where he saw a white-robed archer.
Looking more carefully, Mo Tingsheng also saw Zhou Xuan.
"Zhou Xuan! You’ve chased me all the way here?!"
As Mo Tingsheng ground his teeth in frustration, the arrow at his feet suddenly exploded, carrying Lord Jian’s booming voice.
"Mo Tingsheng, the White Robed Arrow God is here. I’ll allow you to hide and evade for now. The next arrow will be released in one quarter of an hour."
Mo Tingsheng froze in shock. After all his years in Mingjiang Prefecture, how could he not know the fearsome reputation of the White Robed Arrow God?
"Zhou Xuan, you bastard! Not only did you chase me here, but you even brought along an archer with eight incense sticks’ worth of patience!"
Zhou Xuan was stunned as well.
He wondered if Lord Jian might be underestimating his opponent—granting Mo Tingsheng a full quarter of an hour to escape. If Mo Tingsheng coordinated with the Evil God Guang Yin to travel through time again, hiding years earlier, wouldn’t finding him become infinitely harder?
But Lord Jian simply closed his eyes and rested, showing no signs of drawing his bow again...
