Chapter 48: Honeymoon (Part 3)

Feeling his lips pressed on mine and slowly filling every corner of my mouth, my heart pounded louder in my chest. Ughhhh... When would I get used to this to the point that I wouldn’t be feeling like this all the time?

Closing my eyes as we kissed only made me feel it more, so I opened them. I unconsciously stared at his calm face as he continued kissing me. Later on, he slowly opened his eyes too and stared back at me. But his stare was different. If mine were curious, his would be... the look of pleasure. I knew it. He’s a kissing maniac! A pervert! A lowlife!

Soon enough, our lips parted, and we just stared at each other while trying to catch our breath. Why was it that kissing always made us breathless?

Agent Helios then smiled at me and hugged me tightly.

"Eun-Woo, what are you doing?" I whispered. "Suddenly kissing and hugging me?"

"You should start calling me yeobo (honey or husband) instead of my name."

"H-Huh? W-What? No way. That’s too... weird."

"Then at least add ’ya. You’re being too cold calling me Eun-Woo. It should at least be Eun-Woo’ya, or we can keep calling each other babe."

He smirked, obviously making fun of me, to which I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"I’d rather go with Eun-Woo’ya."

"Ehh... What a cold wife."

"Shut up."

"Anyway, go check our target and observe her expression closely."

"Hmf! Yes, boss."

I stealthily looked in Ms. Choi’s direction, who was sitting a little further away from us. As he expected, her attention was caught. She was now staring at Agent Helios, looking curious and perhaps, seduced? She had that thirsty look in her eyes. She kept averting them, but then she would look back again and stare at my partner, who was deliberately smiling so handsomely to bait her.

"She’s taken the bait," I said. "What do we do next?"

Agent Helios chuckled.

"We reel her in."

"How?"

"We’ll do another performance at the beach, so be ready."

"What kind of performance? Don’t tell me it’s another kissing session?"

He didn’t answer my question and just smirked. After that, we went back to our suite and changed into our swimming attire before heading out to the beach.

While changing, I remembered how much time I spent rejecting the swimsuits my stylist gave me. I didn’t like anything that showed too much skin—not that you could help it when wearing swimsuits but still... Good thing we came across this cute and a little frilly one with a skirt, making it look like a two-piece fitted dress.

"This should be fine," I murmured to myself as I kept on pulling the ruffled skirt lower. "Ugh, my thighs are too exposed."

"What’s wrong?" Agent Helios asked.

He just came out of the dressing room we shared, wearing an unbuttoned shirt and board shorts that matched the white color of mine. He really likes showing off his muscles and abs, huh?

"Too short for you?" he asked again.

Sighing, I nodded.

"I’m not used to wearing something like this. I thought it was okay, but when I tried it on, I felt so uncomfortable."

"Didn’t know you’re that conservative. You should have told your stylist if that’s the case, instead of putting up with clothes you’re uncomfortable in."

"I already rejected a lot, and this is the most decent one. I can’t possibly wear a rash guard or something like that, can I?"

He went back to the dressing room, opened the closets, and rummaged through them, looking for something amongst his pile of clothes.

"What are you looking for?"

"Ah, here it is," he replied and pulled out a black robe-looking thing from his closet. "Wear that. It should cover you up pretty well, and it’s not too hot on the skin."

Surprised, I left my mouth open as I took the kimono-style cover-up from his hand. I did have these, but they were thinner and mostly see-through which makes them pretty much useless. But this one should be fine. The black cloth was not see-through yet not that thick to absorb the heat.

"Wow. Thanks," I said as my face lit up.

I quickly put it on and covered my body with it. Agent Helios observed me as I did—I could feel his gaze when I twirled around the mirror to check how it looked.

"Pft," he chuckled. "It’s too big for you."

"Tsk. Of course, it is. What do you expect? Your body is bigger than mine."

"—Or your body is just too small."

"No, it’s not!"

"Whatever you say, my dear wife," he shrugged.

"Eww. Stop that."

"Get used to it."

"Do I need to?"

"Ugh, whatever. Let’s go."

"Yes, BOSS."

[At the beach...]

As expected of one of the best tourist spots in the world, the beauty of the beach was outstanding. The waters were crystal blue, and the sand was so white and pretty. Highlighting its beauty was the luxurious beach furniture around. There were modern outdoor sofas and tables, cushioned recliners, huge parasols or tents to protect people from the sun, beautiful lights, bonfires, and many more. Different beach activities were ready nearby as well. Surely, anyone who comes here would be able to relax and enjoy to the fullest.

"It looked beautiful from our room but seeing it up close is so much better," I said as soon as my eyes laid on the little paradise on earth. "Ahhh... I want to swim and do all that fun stuff over there."

"Hold up. You can’t do that yet. Our priority is the mission. Don’t be distracted."

"Urmgh..." I grunted, suppressing myself of my urge to run around and play. "I want to try the jet ski so bad." My eyes automatically observed the people playing in the waters. "Ahhh... I want to try that, too."

Suddenly, a hand grabbed my head and turned me around.

"I said, not yet. We can do that later."

Biting my lips, I asked, "Really? Promise?"

"Pft. Yes, promise. We won’t have much to do after anyway."

"Ok. Come on! Let’s do it now. What are we doing?"

His lips curved into an evil smirk. Then, he leaned to me and whispered to my ears.

"We’re going to make out in public."

My eyes widened hearing those words. I knew it!

"For real? Don’t you have any other ideas?"

"How else will a woman who loves to sleep around be seduced? By acting godly?"

"No, but still..."

"Just follow my lead."
