Chapter 64: Chapter 64: Who do you work for?[GTG]
A porcelain stillness settled over the scene, broken only by the defiant glint in the young woman’s eyes. Her hair, the color of untrodden snow, cascaded down her back, framing eyes that held the fathomless depths of the ocean. "At last," she said, her voice a caress that sent shivers down the young man’s spine. His hazel eyes, flecked with unsettling green, seemed to hold secrets behind their guarded facade.
"Forgive me, but I believe we haven’t had the misfortune of meeting," he countered, his voice betraying a flicker of something akin to awe beneath his carefully constructed mask.
"Don’t play coy," she retorted, a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes. "I’ve been having a delightful chat with your friend, and let’s just say he wasn’t the most forthcoming companion."
The young man’s composure fractured, replaced by a mask of raw terror. "You... you’re the one who took him?" His voice, thick with barely contained rage, echoed in the cavernous hall.
"Took him? Such a harsh term, wouldn’t you agree?" she purred, her lips curving into a cruel smile. Sunlight glinted off the menacing edge of her helbard, a silent threat hanging heavy in the air.
A tsk escaped the young man’s lips, a sound laced with disdain. "Tsk, tsk. Where is he, tell me!" he demanded, his voice hardening into a steely command.
"Safe," she replied, her voice devoid of warmth. "But your well-being should be your primary concern... for now." The last word hung heavy, a chilling promise of things to come. Before he could react, a blinding flash of light erupted from her, engulfing her in a momentary brilliance. By the time it faded, she was a blur of motion, hurtling towards him at breakneck speed.
The young man’s eyes widened in comprehension. With a desperate cry, he threw his arms up in a futile attempt to defend himself. A clang resonated as his hands met an invisible barrier, solidifying into steel at the last moment.
"Transformation, I see," the girl chimed, her voice devoid of amusement. "But unfortunately for you, that won’t be enough." With a single, fluid motion, her helbard flashed. The young man’s scream ripped through the air, a horrifying shriek as both his hands detached from his forearms, leaving clean, horrifying wounds in their wake.
He crumpled to the ground, a choked sob escaping his lips as tears mingled with the blood staining his clothes. "Damn you!" he rasped, his pleas lost on the seemingly unmoved girl.
"This is just a prelude," she said, her voice losing its playful edge and morphing into something cold and menacing. "The pain will only intensify. Soon, your mind will break, and you’ll beg for the sweet release of oblivion."
His eyes, burning with a mixture of terror and defiance, met hers. "What do you want from me?!" he roared, the raw emotion stripping away his earlier facade.
"Simple," she replied, her voice hardening with each word. "Tell me who you work for. Why were you both attempting to manipulate Ryan by exploiting his memory loss?" With each question, her glare intensified, burning with a cold fury.
"He... he told you?" The young man stared at her in disbelief, his face a mask of utter shock.
"Yes," she said, a chilling smile twisting her lips. "But it wasn’t easy. He endured unimaginable pain, clinging to life by a thread. It was... enlightening, to say the least."
"You’re a monster!" he screamed, his voice raw with a mixture of fear and hatred.
"He said the same," she replied, her voice devoid of remorse. "But I don’t care what I become, what I have to do to protect him. Now, tell me, which eye do I start with?"
The young man’s world dissolved into a horrifying tableau of pain and terror. His screams echoed through the air, a testament to her cruelty.

Desperation clawed at Ryan’s throat. "Let me go! Why don’t you just kill me and get it over with?!" He writhed against the invisible bonds that held him captive, a prisoner to her relentless torment.
With each passing moment, she unleashed waves of unwanted pleasure that threatened to drown his sanity in a sea of carnal bliss. It was a cruel paradox – a pleasure that felt like torture. "Death would be too easy, my dear," she purred, her voice dripping with a sadistic sweetness. "You’re a rare find, a specimen unlike any I’ve encountered before. Others would have succumbed to my touch long ago, lost in the throes of primal desire. But you... you possess a remarkable resilience." A predatory glint flickered in her eyes. "Letting you go is simply not an option. Not until I’ve plumbed the depths of your endurance, not until your spirit crumbles and your will surrenders completely."
Ryan’s breath hitched. Her words were laced with a chilling truth. He could feel his resolve weakening under the relentless assault of her power. Each wave of pleasure left him drained and vulnerable, the line between agony and ecstasy blurring with each passing moment.
"There’s something beautiful in your struggle," she continued, her voice a seductive whisper. "It’s a defiance that fuels my desire to break you all the more. But don’t worry, darling. I won’t rush things. We have all the time in the world."
A single, slender finger trailed a teasing path down his chest, sending shivers of conflicting sensations cascading through him. He squeezed his eyes shut, gritting his teeth in a desperate attempt to maintain control. But his body betrayed him, responding with a surge of heat that pooled in his lower abdomen.
"See?" she cooed, her voice laced with a cruel amusement. "You can’t resist me, can you? Not for long. Soon, you’ll be begging for more."
Her touch sent shivers down his spine, a touch that ignited a firestorm in his core, yet left him feeling strangely hollow. A single, slender finger trailed a teasing path down his body, finally coming to rest at the apex of his desire. ’Damn it all!’ Ryan cursed his fate silently.
It felt like an eternity since he’d been captured, trapped in this personal hell. He’d strained against the invisible bonds, trying everything in his power to break free, but they held firm. Frustration gnawed at him. He still hadn’t grasped the full extent of her power, although he suspected it had something to do with lust. The knowledge did little to quell his growing fear.
Just a few hours ago, a foolhardy soul had attempted a sneak attack, only to be met with a swift and brutal demise. A single, effortless sweep of her weapon – a seemingly innocuous pole that transformed into a deadly blade in a blink – had claimed his life. The memory sent a fresh wave of terror crashing over him. How powerful was she, truly?
A slow, predatory smile spread across her face.
