I looked at them as they still had no reactions aside from being shocked.

"We just need to find the place they sealed Her Majesty’s soul," I said as I was waiting for them to say anything.

"But how can we find her, Mother?" Helion finally spoke up, but he was still looking at where the empress’s body was lying.

"That’s what I don’t know. It seems like Abanoon already expected for her demons and monsters to be caught; that’s why she gave them some blurry memories," I said as I looked back where they were looking and sighed.

"The place is similar to the Valetudoo, where she has her own castle, and now it seems like Abanoon was in some kind of underground place," I said as I looked at Helion.

"But the question is, where is that place?" I said as I looked at them.

They all sighed as they all looked clueless at what I was saying.

"Is there any chance that my wife would die?" the emperor said as she didn’t notice that he had already entered the barrier with Helion, who was now holding the empress’s hand.

"If we couldn’t find her soul, then the empress’s body will be weakened, and eventually it will adapt to having no soul and will die," I said as I looked away, as I couldn’t bear to see the pain in Helion’s eyes when I said those words to them.

"Where should we find it then? If in Valetudoo, we all know that she won’t be there anymore," Helion said as he looked at me looking hopeless.

"We really need to find which body she had taken, as I have this feeling that she was living there," I said as I didn’t mention that it can be Noraya, as I could feel Abanoon’s power from her whenever she was feeling really angry.

Evander was walking inside the house where they were staying with his father’s master; they had been hiding for he didn’t know how long.

Ever since his father’s identity was revealed, he didn’t have any freedom anymore.

He missed Acantha so much.

He really wanted to say sorry and ask for her forgiveness, but his father wouldn’t let him.

Evander looked around the place again, as it was odd for this place to be quiet without Abanoon shouting around.

His father wasn’t there too, as he seems to be busy with something that his master told him to find.

I looked at the place again.

I just wanted to have my old life back again.

Where I could go anywhere without people fearing me.

Where I could always visit Aki in their house.

Now, I am stuck here for I don’t know how much longer.

I went to where her throne is as I noticed that she keeps on talking to the small jar that she has.

It still really scares me the way her face is Lady Noraya’s face and yet she’s doing things out of the character of the body she possessed.

I opened the jar and saw a small insect on it. it was a bug, to be precise, but what was odd is the bug seemed to be weak.

I looked at the jar where she put it and tried getting it. at first it was a little harder, as there seemed to be a minor problem.

I took it out as it really loooks dying.

I didn’t know what happened but as soon as it got in my hand, suddenly it disappeared.

What have I done?

What if the bug was important, as it was kept beside her throne?

I looked around again and saw no one.

I shrugged my shoulders and let it be; I’ll just pretend I never knew who got it.

Acantha suddenly felt some strange thing come inside the barrier as she was still infusing some spell into the empress’s body to keep it alive.

I went to see it and gasped when I realized an awful thing.

"Is that you, Your Majesty?" I asked as I looked at the bug, who looks very weak and, at the same time, seems like it was summoned by some spells I did to call her soul.

The bug nodded weakly and I gathered it using my hand.

Helion and others weren’t there, as they were looking for the place where Abanoon could be hiding; it was only me who was left there to care for the empress’s body, as it cannot be left by me.

"Anima quae furata est, ostende mihi quis sis, et redi ad corpus tuum."[Soul that was stolen, show me who you are, and return to your body.]

I whispered as I chant some spell on it

"Soalaria..." I said as I finished chanting some spell.

I looked at the empress’s body as it was engulfed by a very bright light.

I observed her soul to be sucked back to her body; I was holding my breath while waiting for it.

I looked at her when I heard the body gasp for breath, and that’s when I only released my own breath.

"Flamear," I said as I summoned Flamear, who arrived when I did.

"What was it, my lady?" he asked as he looked at the empress’s body.

"Tell father and others to come here now," I said as I looked at him while giving him some command.

The empress’s body still needs to rest, as it has been cleansed to remove any dark energy that was lingering in her when Lamiama possessed her body.

"Aki!"

I turned around and saw my father with others who were rushing towards where we were.

"Did something happen here, Lady Acantha?" The emperor asked her nervously while Helion was looking at her like he was waiting for her to say something.

"Let’s take a seat first, everyone," I said as I went out from the barrier, and lead them to empress reeceiving area.

"Is there something wrong, My Lady?" Helion asked me when they all settled on the sofa.

They all looked nervous, minus her father, who was now drinking his own coffee, which the maids served them when they went inside.

"No, there’s something I needed to tell you," I said as I looked at them straight in their eyes.

I saw Helion and the emperor were holding their breath.

"There’s a miracle," I said and saw them look at me with confusion all over their faces.

"What do you mean?" Helion asked as he looked nervous.

"Can you elaborate, Lady Acantha?" the emperor said as he looked at me.

I told them what happened while they were gone and they were all just listening to me like children who were listening to their teacher.

"How could that be? Is there a traitor on their side?" the emperor said as he looked confused at what happened.

"Shouldn’t we feel more relieved that your wife’s soul has returned without making it difficult for us to find it?" My father said as he looked at the emperor, who just nodded as he agreed with him.

"But why is mother still not waking up?" Helion asked her as he looked at her.

"The empress’s body has been exhausted, and besides, her soul was stolen and her body, and there is still some dark energy coming out from her body, which I was still purifying in order for her not to have any side effects, as it seems like her body had used some forbidden spell that was beyond her abilities," I said as I was explaining things to them.

"How long will she stay like that?" The emperor said as he looked at me, and I could see the relief in everyone’s eyes after I explained a while ago.

"It would take a week or two, as her body needs a lot of rest," I said as I looked at him.

They all nodded at what I said as they got it.

"There’s also something I wanted you all to know," I said as I got their attention again as I sighed.

"What was it?" Helion asked me and my father glared at her when he did.

"Are there any weird things you’ve noticed about Lady Noraya?" I said as I was looking at them as they frowned at what I said.

"What do you mean, lady Acantha?" they asked as they looked at her.

"I saw her a while ago, and there’s some eerie energy that was coming out from her," I said as I looked at them as I frowned.

"Eerie?" Father asked as he looked at me.

"Yes, father. I sensed some dark energy towards her a while ago," I said as I looked at them.

"Her energy when she gets angry really bothers me," I continued as I sighed at them.

"What do you mean?" They asked as they looked curious at what I was saying.

"Her energy screams like Abanoon so much when she was angry that’s why I asked if you noticed something weird about her," I said as I took a sip from my own glass, as I already felt hungry. I had been using my energy ever since we stepped our feet here.
