Villainess Want's To Ignore Them! -
Chapter 129: The Owner....
Chapter 129: The Owner....
Acantha looked at the injured knight, who seemed to be struggling with his foot, as she could see him wincing when the knights moved him, and she could also see that it was not the only problem he had.
She went to him, who was still being assisted by another knight and she healed his wounds and injuries.
The knights who were there look at her like they were surprised to see what she did.
"You’re not sick anymore." Acantha said, which made the knight look at her.
"Pardon?" he asked her as he looked confused at what she said.
"I said your illness is now gone." Acantha said with no emotions in her eyes.
The knight looked surprised at what she said. She had noticed the man wasn’t wincing about his injuries but rather he was wincing in pain in his chest.
She turned to the other knights who were injured and Acantha frowned. Why didn’t she see them yesterday when she rebuilt the capital?
"Put them here..." Acantha commanded the knights some obeyed her
"Why would we follow some witch’s order?" Acantha heard one of the knights say he has some brown hair and dark eyes, which she knew was from the Di Santris.
If she remembered it correctly, when she read from the family archive in their library, she studied about the people in their empire.
She remembered reading that the Di Santris had three sons, one who was serving as a knight in their empire and the rest who were just out there still studying at the academy in their empire.
"Shut up, Jick." One of the knights said he tried to nudge the man who was glaring at him.
"What? I am just saying the truth... Everyone in the empire knows that she and her father were the ones who brought the curse in here." He continued as he glared at her while smirking.
"Isn’t it right, Lady Acantha? You even dared to steal the crown prince from my cousin and made him do everything she likes." Acantha sighed as she was trying to calm herself from slapping the man’s mouth and putting him in his place.
"If I were you, Young Master Di Santris, I would be careful with my words." Acantha said calmly, but the man only smirked at her and went closer.
"Say, why don’t you play with me, Lady? I heard the duke was already dead. With your reputation, I think it will be hard for you to come back to the society. Besides, the crown prince won’t choose you over his mother." He said as he played with her hair, and Acantha could feel his breath on her face.
She didn’t flinch at what he did. Acantha saw the fear in the other knights eyes, who she knew were with them when they traveled in the north, but no one dared to stop Young Master, as he had a noble lineage.
"Jick, you need to stop..." She heard the knight who had been stopping the man from what he was doing.
"You!" The man named Jick turned to the other knight who was stopping him, " How dare you touch me, who came from a noble family?" He said as he glared at the man as he slapped his hand that was stopping him from doing what he was doing to her.
"I-I," the man said as he looked afraid at what Jick had told him. He looked at her apologetically and bowed his head.
Jick turned to her and looked so smug as he put his hand in his pocket.
"Now, why won’t we have an agreement for you to be my woman?" He said as he wet his lip with his tongue.
Does this man think he’s sexy?
"I don’t have time for this..." she said as she was losing all her patience towards the man, who looked offended and was about to grab her arm when she used her power to fling him to the nearest wall.
Everyone who was watching them held their breath as they gasped at what happened to the young master Di Santris.
"You! How dare you lay your dirty hands on me?!" The young master of Di Santris.
"Coming from you? Young Master Di Santris, I have told you to be careful with your words, didn’t I?" Acantha said as she glared at the man who was still groaning in pain.
What a weak person!
"Aren’t you the son of a count? If we’re talking about lineage, aren’t you supposed to bow down to me?" Acantha said as she crossed her arms on her chest.
The man glared at her as he felt humiliated at what she said.
She really hated bragging and using her status, but it seemed like this man’s ego was bigger than the universe.
Acantha was about to take a step to go to where the injured knights were when she felt the man stand and was about to attack her, and her power suddenly reacted to protect her.
The young master of Di Santris was once again sent flying into one of the walls in the capital, which she fixes whenever there’s some damage to it.
The man was unconscious, but because she was pissed with him, she won’t heal his wounds to give him some lessons. Never mess with a woman who already told you to be careful with your words.
After she and Flamear had healed the injured knight, Acantha and Flamear went back to the Solaris.
--------------------
It was already evening and she was waiting for her father to arrive, and not long enough, he arrived alone.
"I heard you went to the capital, Aki..." Her father started as the maids were serving them their food.
"I just helped them a little, Father..." Acantha said as she sliced the meat on her plate.
"Have you met the crown prince there already?" Her father asked what made her stop chewing the meat.
"No, we haven’t met." Acantha said when she found her voice. She looked at her father, who just nodded at her answers.
They eat the dinner peacefully together.
She went to her bedroom when she remembered something.
She got the necklace that they got from Lady Abellarde that time when they captured her.
Acantha looked at the necklace as she remembered it.
It was Abanoon’s necklace that had been purified by her.
The necklace was given to them as a gift of welcoming them as a goddess in their realm.
The necklace was supposed to be a divine artifact that they would use whenever they wanted to give it to someone who was loyal to them.
She looked at the necklace again.
It has been used for so many crimes that Abanoon had committed.
The once divine one became a cursed thing.
She went to one of the boxes where she hid the jar where Gamon is.
She lifts the seal on the jar.
The room was suddenly filled with dark smoke. The room became chilly.
"Finally I am-" Gamon stopped what he was saying when he noticed her.
"You, why are you here?" Gamon asked her as he pointed his finger at her.
"This is my house, of course." Acantha answered him, as he still looked surprised on seeing her.
"B-but am I not freed by someone?" Gamon asked confusedly as he looked around as if he was looking for another person who he hoped was the one who freed him.
"No, I let you out. I am going to ask you some questions." Acantha asked as she looked at him, who looked confused, but she could see fear in his eyes.
"And do you think I would talk to you? I can feel that my master is alive now..." Gamon said to her as he looked at her, trying to look not scared.
"If I were you, I would answer every question that was thrown at me if I still wanted to be alive." Acantha said as she glared at Gamon, who was about to escape the room when he suddenly felt the shackles on his body.
"What did you do to me?" Gamon asked her as he was glaring at her.
"This is what you get when you don’t answer my questions." Acantha said as she looked at him.
"Where did you get that one?" Acantha looked at Gamon, who changed the subject and was now looking at the necklace that she was holding.
"You seem to know about this..." Acantha said as she looked at him, giving him a shrug.
"What did you do to my master’s necklace? You purified it! How dare you!" Gamon said as he looked at her while his eyes were looking at her sharply in anger.
"Now, tell me, where are the other artifacts that Abanoon owned?" Acantha asked Gamon, who turned away, refusing to give her some answers.
She was loosing her patience; she looked at the demon in front of her and uses her power to give him some lesson
"I won’t say anything, and not to you." Gamon said as he was wincing in pain.
"I am the owner of those artifacts and now you’re refusing to tell me how to get them?" Acantha yelled at him, which scared him.
"The owner?" Gamon asked in confusion while he was looking at her.
