Chapter 1366: The Supreme Leader Keeps His Word!

“We don’t. In fact, I’m willing to offer my service to help you deal with these nuisances as gratitude for sharing such important information with us,” Jaros quickly took charge and said.

“Considering the entire island is being watched at the moment, the culprits responsible for these injuries might find out what’s going on and attempt to escape. So, it’s best to get all the help you can right now to round them up and deliver a devastating strike to weaken them.”

“I agree. As long as the Supreme Leader doesn’t mind, I am willing to lend my strength to help you handle this issue,” Zaelthar chimed in instantly.

“I am also willing to lend a hand,” Rhylla said.

“I’m also willing,” Karli swiftly nodded in agreement. Her body trembled as she stared at Orion. She felt foolish for previously thinking that he was a fake.

She had been so blinded by the idea that her parents had been deceived by a fake in such a dangerous situation that she had almost concluded he wasn’t someone who could be trusted.

Fortunately, she had learned the truth before attempting something foolish; otherwise, even her parents might not have been able to rescue her.

She knew her parents wouldn’t hesitate to arrange a relationship between her and the Supreme Leader, with or without her consent, to obtain information about the Seven-Headed Hydra if the ones they had prepared failed.

However, she wasn’t thinking about resisting this time. She was also curious about the whereabouts of the mysterious spirit beast. If entering a relationship with him could reveal that information, or even allow them to meet her, then it was a fantastic deal.

“I’m certain everyone here is willing to lend a hand in teaching those troublemakers who have entered this territory to respect it. Why don’t we all act together to destroy them? That way, we can ensure no one escapes and the situation is handled swiftly,” Kun’lin said, turning to look at the gathered Spirit Beasts.

Silvitaris and Crahon’ra swiftly agreed.

“As long as the Supreme Leader commands it, we are ready to lend our strength to deal with those troublemakers!”

“I remember how I became a laughingstock after trying to convince a few of them to take the binding oath. Now, they’re surely going to regret not taking my advice!”

“Those guys attacked me, too! I managed to escape with only a few injuries. I don’t mind lending my strength to deal with them.”

The assembled Spirit Beasts also spoke out, voicing their agreement with her words.

Many of them had clashed with the spirit beasts who had refused to take the binding oath. A few had even formed grudges that could last tens of thousands of years.

However, they hadn’t stepped forward earlier to lay their requests, because although they knew Orion and his force were powerful, the situation was something they could handle themselves. They had also already recovered from their injuries.

None of them were foolish enough to provoke beings they knew little about during such a critical moment.

It had merely been a test to confirm their strength and strategise their next move. Now, they were glad they hadn’t joined the confrontation and risked drawing the ire of the entire assembly.

But now that they were being given a chance to retaliate with numerous supporters, to hasten the next meeting, they couldn’t refuse.

Right now, they had no problem making enemies with anyone, except Orion, and the forces behind him.

However, contrary to their expectations, Orion shook his head and responded, “I will not go back on my word. You may accompany us and watch, but we’ll handle this matter ourselves.”

The assembled spirit beasts fell silent, taken aback by Orion’s words.

Was he really planning to deal with an unknown number of powerful Spirit Beasts with just himself and his group?

Were the four of them truly that powerful?

Their attention shifted to the three women standing beside him, each of them staring back with expressions that were both nonchalant and solemn.

While they were certain that Orion and the force behind him weren’t to be trifled with, they also couldn’t underestimate the strength of the spirit beasts that had congregated within this territory.

If pushed to the point of death, the kind of strength they could erupt with was unfathomable.

While it was still unknown if any of the formidable spirit beasts would emerge to take advantage of the situation, they knew that if the matter escalated, unless Orion brought out the rest of his force, they would definitely need their help. Still, they were willing to offer it then, as it would make their cooperation in the next meeting much easier.

They were looking forward to it.

Suddenly, the forthcoming battle became even more exciting than they had initially imagined.

‘As expected of Brother! He’s so cool! I knew that following him on missions was the right decision,’ Gina thought, her heart brimming with joy.

‘Hehe! I wonder what they’ll think when they realise that Zymera is not the special one, but was only granted such privilege because of my husband?’ Greta said with a chuckle.

‘I can’t wait for that revelation. But I know that he won’t do such a thing yet, or else it would be too troublesome for us to handle later on. Even if he did, I’m not sure they could withstand it. What do you both think? Do you think we can handle those spirit beasts?’

‘Stop asking irrelevant questions. The three of us are enough to handle everyone present on this floating island. And with Gina, we might not even sustain a scratch,’ Celeste responded. ‘What we need to worry about is that these spirit beasts are not ordinary individuals, with many having lived as long as 20,000 years.’

‘Despite our training, the one thing we lack is real-life battle experience, so we shouldn’t let our guards down and allow them to take advantage of it.”

‘We can’t afford to disappoint Orion.’

‘Yes, I will certainly not disappoint him. I will show those spirit beasts that none of them can break through my shield!” Gina stated.

‘I will also give it my best. If we encounter an enemy that can break through Gina’s shield, you don’t need to worry. I will definitely resurrect you all,’ Greta replied, chuckling lightly.

‘Hmmh! I don’t want them to ridicule us, so you two better stick to your words,’ Celeste responded.

Though the three women remained silent, they were telepathically exchanging messages and sharing their views on the unfolding events before them.

Meanwhile, J’garin, Iy’yra, and the other White Winged Gryphons stared at the group in amazement.

Unlike the others, they knew that a part of Orion’s force consisted of his wives and had witnessed their strength during previous encounters.

So they weren’t sceptical about the group’s ability to handle the spirit beasts outside. Instead, they couldn’t help but feel that the group before them had grown even stronger.

This was especially true for Iy’yra, who had witnessed Orion’s strength during his battle with Zymera, so different from the pressure emanating from the Orion now standing before them.

Didn’t the Spirit Realm halve the strength of beings from the Material Realm?

How did they do it?

J’garin racked his mind but couldn’t come up with an answer.

One thing they all understood was this: a man who could impregnate a spirit beast and cause her to ascend beyond her age limit must also possess the means to greatly enhance the strength of his force.

They, too, couldn’t help but feel excited for the upcoming battle.

Orion turned to the injured spirit beasts. “How many are there?” He asked.

“There are nineteen. Ten are Earl-ranked, eight are Marquis-ranked, and one is Duke-ranked. They ambushed us but let us live after severely injuring us. We believe it was meant as a warning to those who had taken the binding oath, and to you. A few of them used their avatars, so we need to be careful,” Kafla responded.

Orion sneered inwardly at the fact that he was revealing such information now. According to his knowledge, spirit beasts could create and use avatars if they possessed the inherent ability to do so, had mastered a Spirit Law entirely, or employed a secret spiritual technique.

Despite that, as long as they were within this territory, they could easily capture them. If not, they would simply destroy the avatar and delay the matter until the culprits showed their faces again.

Seeing that Orion remained silent, Kafla quickly added, “I hadn’t revealed this information before because I was uncertain how you would respond. But now that I know you intend to keep your word, we don’t need you to capture the culprits.”

“We can recover from our injuries on our own. We’ll be able to recuperate fully after some time.” He wiped the sweat beads forming on his forehead after sensing the pressure from the assembled spirit beasts focusing on him.
