Chapter 80: Chapter 80 Li Feng Run Fast

Tong Qian had never imagined things would turn out this way, her mind went blank.

At that moment, a flash of light from a camera dashed past from the stairs nearby, as someone took pictures.

Disrupted like this did not feel good at all, Li Feng pushed the softened Tong Qian away, performed an agile kip-up, and sprang into the air with one hand on the stair railing, leaping down the steps while the man snapping photos hurriedly ran downstairs.

Li Feng, seeing the man just a few meters away, leaped off the tips of his toes, delivering a fierce flying kick straight into the man’s back, sending him crashing to the ground like a vicious dog diving for its meal, his phone flying out of his hand.

Li Feng picked up the phone and was about to look at it when the man on the ground got up and lunged at Li Feng. Li Feng swiftly turned around, trapping the man’s head under his arm, and delivered a knee strike to the man’s abdomen.

Thump.

The man, clutching his stomach, fell to the ground, "You’re paparazzi too, open the phone."

"I’ve already sent out the photos."

"Oh, have you?"

Li Feng replied indifferently, pressing his foot on the man’s hand, "Which media’s paparazzi are you, who did you send the photos to, I’ll count to three, if you don’t tell me, brace yourself for the consequences."

"You dare to hit me, I’ll call the police and charge you with intentional assault."

The man looked up at Li Feng.

Li Feng coldly smiled and ground his foot down on the man’s fingers, producing a crack. The man screamed in agony.

"You can keep defying me, I’m quite patient. I’ve just broken one of your fingers, you’ve got nine left, let’s continue."

"Oh, and just to remind you, broken finger bones are tough to heal, if you lose three fingers on one hand, that hand is effectively useless," and recovering might not even let you hold chopsticks or write anymore.

As Li Feng spoke and shifted his foot, the man immediately caved, without Li Feng needing to apply any more force.

"I’ll talk, I’ll talk."

"I’m not a paparazzo; I’m a private detective. Someone hired me to investigate you and to watch you around the clock, capturing your every move, and to send any valuable footage to them."

The man blurted it all out in one breath, obviously he was paid for this task, but he did not want to risk becoming disabled over a few thousand dollars, he believed the other party was serious.

"Who is it?"

The man shook his head, "I don’t know, I’m not lying to you, I really don’t know, the person contacted me through a social media app, and the payment was delivered to me in cash through local courier."

"Open your phone."

The man obediently turned on his phone, and Li Feng saw a photo taken moments ago of him with Tong Qian, checked the time, and it was still within five minutes, so he quickly hit recall.

"Leave!"

Li Feng tossed the phone back at the man, signaling him to get lost. Tong Qian walked up behind Li Feng, the flush still visible on her face.

"The photo..."

Li Feng turned around to look at Tong Qian, "I’ve recalled the photo, but I can’t guarantee that the other party hasn’t seen it or downloaded it."

Tong Qian bit her lip, Li Feng observing her expression said, "Don’t worry too much; that guy was a private detective, not paparazzi. The photo won’t appear in entertainment gossip headlines."

Tong Qian looked up at Li Feng.

"How can you be so sure?"

"The private detective was probably hired by your Guardian Angel, probably out of frustration. He wouldn’t normally spread the photo everywhere."

"How do you know it was him?" Tong Qian was somewhat nervous, Yang Lin was her pillar in the entertainment industry, without Yang Lin’s support, not only would fame be impossible, even avoiding being exploited would be difficult.

If it really was Yang Lin, although it wasn’t the worst-case scenario, it would still be quite bad.

"Just guessing, you’d better pray he hasn’t seen it."

"Bitch, I treated you so well and you dared to go behind my back and meet him."

Yang Lin smashed his phone; he had seen that photo and it made him feel green with envy. He had not expected that after Tong Qian returned to Sea City, she would go back to Huacheng to meet Li Feng again.

It was like a slap in the face.

Having long considered Tong Qian as his own, Yang Lin couldn’t stand this, especially the photo of them being so intimate. He didn’t need to think further.

Enraged, Yang Lin grabbed the phone in his room, "Have you found the guy I asked you to find?"

"Raise the price; I want his middle leg crippled. When? Now, immediately!"

Li Feng left the bookstore, and Tong Qian followed, biting her lip and looking at Li Feng, "Are we just going to leave like this? What about that paparazzo journalist? There’s surveillance in the bookstore. If he wakes up, he won’t just let this go."

Li Feng stopped, and Tong Qian almost bumped into him. He turned around to face her, "Don’t worry, I’m not the same person I used to be, the one who was wrongly accused and screamed in vain."

"That bookstore, I bought it a long time ago, whatever happens inside, there won’t be any surveillance, that paparazzo will learn what it means to keep his mouth shut, if he doesn’t, someone will teach him."

"Do you still want to go somewhere?"

Tong Qian looked at Li Feng, feeling as if she was deciphering a celestial script. His face was so familiar, yet so strange, the recent events made it feel like she didn’t know Li Feng at all, making her more curious about what had happened to him after that incident.

"Li Feng, can you tell me what exactly happened to you?"

"Do you really want to know? It’s a long story, can’t be told in one night," Li Feng said, grinning mischievously.

Tong Qian’s face turned crimson.

"Do you always have to be such a rogue?"

Tong Qian bit her lip watching the rakish and scoundrelly Li Feng.

"I’ll take you home."

Tong Qian stared as Li Feng let go and abruptly turned around, cursing Li Feng as a scoundrel in her heart, but her body just couldn’t bring itself to leave.

"You, fine... consider this a repayment."

Tong Qian stomped her foot, a rush of blood heading straight to her head, and rushed in front of Li Feng, staring into his eyes.

"My car is over there, going to your hotel?"

Li Feng squinted at the visibly furious Tong Qian when suddenly, the sound of screeching brakes came from the nearby street.

Whoosh.

A car door swung open, and seven or eight tattooed men from the Han Dynasty emerged.

"Who is Li Feng!"

Tong Qian turned and gasped, grabbing Li Feng’s arm, "Li Feng, run!"
