Chapter 783: Chapter 783: Train for Another Ten Years If You Want to Kill Me

The onlookers’ pupils shrank, watching the glaring knife that was thrust slantingly into the round table, they silently swallowed their saliva.

Their gaze, uncontrollably, shifted toward Lu Siyu and Ma Shuangshuang, wondering what these two women were up to, playing such a big game—could it be that Li Feng had started chaos and then abandoned them?

Lu Siyu and Ma Shuangshuang managed a bitter smile, this had nothing to do with them, why were they being stared at.

"Who is Li Feng."

At that moment, a rough voice came from behind the two women, who immediately stepped aside to open a passage for the uninvited guest, who strode in with a meteoric pace.

"Who is this guy?"

"He must be here to pick a fight."

Many eyes turned toward Li Feng as the person had pointedly identified him by name. Li Feng furrowed his brows and stood up from his chair.

"Who are you!"

The Mad Blade eyed Li Feng, "You are Li Feng, pick up that knife and duel with me."

The Mad Blade moved with strides as quick as shooting stars, assuming a stance that cut through the wind. In a few steps, he leapt and landed squarely on the vast round table. This conference room’s round table was five meters in diameter, spacious enough to accommodate a hundred people without it seeming crowded.

"Damn, a duel? Dude, did you get kicked by a donkey? What era are we in, still playing with duels, and with knives at that?"

"Where’s the security?"

Even as this was spoken, Bai He and a large contingent of security had already surged into the spacious conference room.

Bai He hurried to Li Feng’s side and whispered, "Li Feng, the man is an expert knife user. The security guard at the door got a knife drawn across his throat, leaving a blood mark. He measured it perfectly, not missing by a millimeter."

Li Feng acknowledged with a sound.

The Mad Blade, standing on the round table and facing the guards surrounding him, remained calm and composed, "Li Feng, I am here because I have accepted a commission. The client wants your hands and feet. My knife is swift, you’ll get to the hospital quickly, you won’t die."

"If you don’t want these men to be killed, let them stand down. I have no desire to cause a bloodbath."

"Killing them brings me no profit, but don’t force me to act."

The Mad Blade looked at Li Feng with cold detachment.

"If you are a man, come up here and duel with me."

"Li Feng."

Zhu Jun saw Li Feng about to move and tried to hold him back, but Li Feng smiled at Zhu Jun, "He came for me, let me handle this."

Li Feng stepped on the chair and leapt directly onto the round table, looking at the Mad Blade standing three meters away, "Your outfit makes me think of swordsmen."

"Stop the nonsense, draw your knife, I’m in a hurry to catch a plane."

Li Feng looked at the straightforward blade user and stepped forward to draw the knife.

"Life and death are predestined, wealth is in the hands of heavens, come on."

The Mad Blade didn’t waste any more words, as soon as Li Feng drew his knife, his foot tapped lightly and he moved in front of Li Feng as swiftly as a darting rabbit, his hand drawing the knife with astonishing speed, a streak of light flashing brilliantly cold in the glow of the overhead chandelier.

"Ah!"

There was no sound of metal collision; Ma Shuangshuang, standing by the door, cried out in alarm and closed her eyes, unable to bear watching.

Li Feng retreated half a step with the tap of his foot, the knife tip passed directly in front of him, and he had just steadied himself when his shirt split open without warning, the cut was smooth and fine, barely missing his skin.

"Your knife is quite fast," Li Feng remarked.

The Mad Blade’s pupils contracted, for the first time in his life, his knife had missed its mark; his eyes focused anew on Li Feng, and the Mad Blade got serious.

"You’re the first person to dodge my knife."

"But, that’s it."

Mad Blade let out a breath, and an invisible killing intent emerged from his body, instantly dropping the surrounding air temperature by several degrees. People around him shivered visibly, actually feeling the cold.

"Wild Blade Blood Drink."

"Kill."

Mad Blade suddenly bellowed, and the word "kill" seemed to come to life, capturing people’s souls. Under the killing intent, the air itself seemed to solidify. Mad Blade’s strike was like a startling swan, slicing right through the frozen space.

Li Feng shifted to the side, dodging the gleaming blade.

Mad Blade was astonished, having missed again. "How is this possible?" His strike, charged with killing intent, was so fast that even flies couldn’t dodge it, let alone a human—after all, a fly’s compound eyes see movement at a rate that seems ten times slower than reality.

Li Feng casually raised his hand, and the blade landed directly on Mad Blade’s neck.

Mad Blade couldn’t dodge. Sweat beads formed on his forehead, his eyes filled with surprise. "How did he do that?"

Li Feng had no interest in clearing up Mad Blade’s confusion. With a cold smirk, he suddenly kicked him, and Mad Blade flew off the round table like a shooting star.

"Your blade is fast, but to kill me, you’ll need another ten years of practice."

"Throw him out."

Li Feng ordered, his tone icy.

"Yes."

A group of security guards looked up to Li Feng with admiration. They lifted Mad Blade by his arms and legs and flung him out of Outer Heaven.

"I, Mad Blade, never draw a second blade, nor have I tasted defeat. I never imagined such a crushing loss today."

"Mr. Li, are you really letting the tiger return to the mountain? His kung fu is not weak; his blade is truly fast," Bai He said with concern in his face.

"He is a swordman, not an assassin."

"He might kill for money, but since I spared his life, he owes me one. He won’t come to kill me again until that debt is paid."

Bai He was skeptical. After all, the ancient profession of a swordman had long since vanished from this land, and people nowadays only knew about swordmen from martial arts films and dramas. In reality, it was a rarity to ever encounter one.

Li Feng walked towards Ma Shuangshuang and Lu Siyu, who were standing at the entrance.

Ma Shuangshuang was dressed in a floral outfit that accentuated her tall, graceful figure, while Lu Siyu was wearing a professional suit—a white blouse with a jacket, a pencil skirt with sheer stockings, and high heels, a truly delectable sight.

"Ladies, your presence truly graces my establishment."

"Heh, we’re not invited guests. The fact that you haven’t sent us away is already quite considerate," Ma Shuangshuang looked at Li Feng. Since the last time they confronted Li Feng and were tricked by him, the Heroine Association had not let it go. On the contrary, they had taken it more seriously, constantly collecting information on Li Feng, ready to teach him a profound lesson when necessary.

To show him that the Heroine Association is not to be trifled with.

However, things changed too quickly; Li Feng suddenly became the chairman of Century, which made it even harder for them to gauge his next move, so their plan was postponed again and again.

"Chairman Li, avoiding me this morning; were you afraid I would cling to you? By doing this, you might have made Siyu a bit sad," Lu Siyu said coquettishly, sending chills down Li Feng’s spine.

"Oh, my secretary did mention it, but I was indeed not in the office at the time. President Lu, aren’t you the young mistress from the prestigious Lu Family?"

Lu Siyu looked at Li Feng, feigning ignorance, "Yes, I come from the Lu Family."

"However, this visit has nothing to do with my family. I’m here purely because I wanted to get to know you."

Her purpose was anything but pure.

"Oh?"

"I think we might consider seeing each other."
