Jiang Pudgy let out a short laugh.

"Do I have a choice? They never cared about me from the beginning to the end. I’ve put everything into building this club, and they sold it just like that, without a word of explanation."

"I can’t continue to act like a fawning dog and beg them, can I? I’ve already lost everything, and even if I begged, I doubt I would even have the right."

"Though I, Jiang Pudgy, may have no shame, I still have some backbone."

Li Feng looked at Jiang Pudgy.

"It doesn’t matter to me whether you’re sincere or just playing me. Now that I’ve given you this opportunity, I see the value in you. I don’t need your sincerity, just your value."

He knew those security guards; they were his men, loyal to him.

Bai He turned to listen to the ranting man, casually motioned with his hand, and one of his men stepped forward and, in a swift move, pinned the other to the ground.

"Mr. Li Feng is not someone you can question."

Bai He looked down coldly at the man squirming underfoot, and before he finished speaking, there was a crisp snapping sound as the man’s leg was brutally broken.

Jiang Pudgy gasped sharply and raised his eyes to look at Bai He.

"Is Mr. Li Feng the chairman of Century Group, Li Feng?"

Bai He looked down contemptuously at Jiang Pudgy.

"This is the first time, and I will forgive you. But if there is a next time, and you show no respect, you will end up just like him."

"In the future, you may refer to the chairman as ’Mr. Li Feng’ in public. If you don’t have any objections, then proceed immediately with what I’ve just instructed."

As Bai He turned to leave, he suddenly paused, "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Bai He!"
