Li Feng was forcefully kissed by Mu Yuyan, who had her arms around his neck. Li Feng wasn’t made of stone; he could naturally feel Mu Yuyan’s emotions. If he continued to act like an upstanding gentleman after what Mu Yuyan had done, it would be nothing but hypocrisy.

The sun set behind the mountains, and the evening sky was like silk.

Li Feng lit a cigarette and leaned back against the headboard while Mu Yuyan, with tears in the corners of her eyes and a smile on her lips, slept soundly beside him.

It seemed his responsibilities had just increased by a fraction.

Thinking this, Li Feng picked up the cell phone beside him, only to see several missed calls—some from Zhu Jun, and others from Zhang Chang.

Li Feng tapped on the missed calls and first dialed Zhang Chang back. Two rings later, the call connected.

"Uh, you’re in Sea City?"

"Okay, I got it. See you tonight."

Li Feng hung up and returned Zhu Jun’s call. Zhu Jun wanted to meet up as well, to discuss the matter they talked about last time, and Li Feng didn’t refuse.

"Uh-huh."

Just then, Mu Yuyan opened her eyes. Li Feng hung up and looked at her, "Did I wake you?"

"No."

Mu Yuyan shook her head and looked out the window to see that it had gotten dark. She exclaimed in shock and sat up.

"What time is it... uh!"

"It’s not even seven in the evening yet. Why not call home and say you won’t be going back today?" Li Feng suggested with concern.

Mu Yuyan hummed, "It’s all your fault, but I need to go back. You don’t know my mom—if I dare to stay out overnight, she’ll call me all night."

"And besides, do you want my mom to have a talk with you?"

Li Feng coughed awkwardly. He was indeed a bit scared. After all, he had met Mu Yuyan’s mother twice before, and she was completely dissatisfied with him, having gone so far as to set up a blind date for Mu Yuyan with one of his own students the last time.

"You think you won’t be caught sneaking back like this?"

"Hmph, my parents go for a walk after dinner every night. If I go back at that time, they won’t notice."

Mu Yuyan didn’t linger on these thoughts much longer. What’s done was done, and there was nothing to regret. As for crying, causing a scene, or attempting suicide to manipulate Li Feng, Mu Yuyan hadn’t considered any of that.

She detested those kinds of women the most.

If it came down to it, she would fight it out with that woman. Mu Yuyan had the looks, the figure, and the talents—she wasn’t about to lose to anyone.

Li Feng gave a wry smile. What was meant to come would always find a way; the joy of a harmonious pregnancy wasn’t so easily enjoyed, but he could still handle it.

Li Feng called the hotel’s front desk and had them send up a few sets of clothes.

After taking a bath, Mu Yuyan got dressed in the clothes delivered by the server. Once ready, Li Feng left the big hotel with her and dropped her off directly at her doorstep before he turned to leave.

"Please come with me."

"Sir, smoking is not allowed here. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside."

Liu Yan turned his head and, seeing an enemy in such close quarters, was taken aback. If it wasn’t his "rival," Liu Yan asked Director Wang and the others to wait for a moment and then abruptly approached Li Feng.

"Click, isn’t this the big Chairman of the Century Group? What’s the matter, can’t even get through the door of this club?"
