Li Feng looked at the somewhat aggressive Mu Yuyan, "Is this how you treat your benefactor?"

Mu Yuyan herself was confused by Li Feng’s determined approach, the short distance between them was close enough to feel each other’s breath, and her heartbeat suddenly became erratic like a scared little deer.

Pressured, Mu Yuyan had no choice but to step back, only to stumble upon a protruding brick. In her distraction, she cried out in shock and fell backward.

Li Feng twisted around and chased after Mu Yuyan. He had not anticipated Chu Wei going to such lengths to set up this trap, and why had he chosen Zheng Xi?

Mu Yuyan was a beautiful and talented woman, definitely someone men sought after, but for Li Feng, Mu Yuyan was just a passerby in his life, a scenery to be appreciated as he passed by.

Chu Wei watched Li Feng chase after her and smirked, "Li Feng, oh Li Feng, you really can’t blame me."

Chu Wei quickly turned around and approached the railing to look at Zheng Xi and a few others thrashing in the river water, then after some effort, he pulled them out.

"Don’t anyone try to stop me, I’m definitely going to kill that bastard."

Zheng Xi spat out a couple mouthfuls of water, feeling slightly better, but his eyes gleamed with a fierce light, "Killing him would be letting him off too easy."

The other gentlemen turned to look at Zheng Xi, and through gritted teeth, he said, "I want to torment him, make him wish he was dead."

Listening to Zheng Xi’s vicious words, Chu Wei couldn’t help but snicker.

The group suddenly turned to look at the laughing Chu Wei, with Zheng Xi’s eyes flashing a fierce light, "Chu Wei, what are you laughing at?"

"You think I’m making empty threats, joking around?"

"That’s right, what do you mean? It’s nothing for Young Master Zheng to deal with a person, just say the word. Are you doubting Young Master Zheng’s power?"

Another gentleman looked at Chu Wei, disliking him to the core, probably because of Chu Wei’s self-righteous demeanor.

"I don’t doubt Young Master Zheng’s power, but he really might not be able to do anything to that person from before,"

Chu Wei said.

"Chu Wei, what the hell are you talking about? Who in Sea City is someone that Zheng can’t mess with? Out with it, I want to hear it, who is he!"

"That’s right, I found him quite unfamiliar."

Most of those who were mixing in this circle were well-known; who could be offended and who could not was essential knowledge for surviving. Being a spoiled scion wasn’t easy.

In Sea City, there were definitely people they shouldn’t offend, but that didn’t include the guy from before.

Zheng Xi looked up at Chu Wei, "Chu Wei, stop playing coy, who was that guy from before? You dare to claim I, Zheng Xi, can’t touch him? What’s his background? Let’s hear it."

Chu Wei let out a sigh.

"Don’t you find him familiar?"

"Familiar?"

Chu Wei looked at the baffled faces of the spoiled young masters. They were really good for nothing, only knowing how to eat, drink, and be merry, "He’s the hotshot who has been making headlines in Sea City for over a month, appearing several times on the trending search lists, the new chairman of Century Group."

With Chu Wei’s reminder, one of the young masters immediately recalled, "You mean the guy who climbed the ranks by mooching off a woman?"

"Oh, oh, I remember now. I saw it on my phone, the one who became sworn brothers with that old fart from Century Group, that guy who got lucky. That’s him."

Zheng Xi also managed to dig up some details about Century Group from his memory since the incident had caused quite a stir, and just about anyone living in Sea City knew about it.

"A lucky dog who mooches off women dares to vie with me, Zheng Xi, for a woman." Zheng Xi’s eyes narrowed, he had never considered Li Feng significant. Just some guy who got lucky, relying on a woman to climb up. Worthless.

And yet he dared to compete with him for a woman.

Chu Wei, seeing Zheng Xi’s expression, continued to fan the flames, "Young Master Zheng, Century Group is one of the top ten corporations in Sea City, with assets in the hundreds of billions, a true colossus. No matter how Li Feng got to be this chairman, he now holds that position."

"With Century Group backing him, his worth has skyrocketed. Despite how they vilify him online, reducing him to nothing, could someone who sits in that position really be an easy target?"

Chu Wei shook his head.

"How about we let it go? It’s just a woman, after all. There’s no need to make an enemy over a woman. Besides, if your dad hears about this, he’ll reprimand you again."

With that statement, Chu Wei was basically slapping Zheng Xi in the face. Zheng Xi hated it most when people brought his father into the argument.

"Damn it, he’s just a lucky bastard. He’s not worthy. That woman I, Zheng Xi, have claimed," Zheng Xi said, then he looked up at Chu Wei, "Chu Wei, I know you’ve got connections. Let me use some of them."

Chu Wei looked at Zheng Xi reluctantly, "Young Master Zheng, that’s not really appropriate. If things get out of hand, it won’t end well."

"Hmph, what’s there to worry about? I’m not planning to kill him. Just say whether you’ll lend them or not."

Zheng Xi stared down Chu Wei, who looked troubled, "I can lend you people, Young Master Zheng, but you have to tell me what you’re planning. If things blow up, I can’t carry that weight on my own."

"Hmph, what are you scared of with me here? Just call them over."
