Chapter 636: Chapter 636: You’ve Crossed the Line

"Whoa, who’s this meddlesome fatty? Let go of me."

Ma Lin glanced at the imposing Wang Qian, who snorted coldly. Despite his seemingly harmless and simple demeanor in front of Li Feng, in Huacheng, this Wang Qian was infamously known as a smiling tiger who spares no one.

Wang Qian twisted his hand, and with a crack of his fingers, Ma Lin immediately shrank back, inhaling sharply from the pain.

"Damn it, you fat bastard, you’re asking for it."

Seeing Ma Lin at a disadvantage, Liu De didn’t hesitate to kick towards Wang Qian. Surprisingly, Wang Qian didn’t even flinch. With a contraction of his belly, he sent Liu De flying to the ground.

"Shit, causing trouble here in Bright Moon Building, you’re done for, you fatso! And you, Li Feng, you’re done for too."

"Let go of Ma Lin right now, or don’t even think about leaving Bright Moon Building on your feet today."

A young master behind Ma Lin glared at Li Feng with steely resolve. At that moment, the security guards of Bright Moon Building also noticed the commotion in the lobby and sprang into action, which emboldened the group of young masters.

"Oh, is that so!"

Li Feng disdainfully glanced at him, then turned towards a fresh-faced youth: "Do their words represent Bright Moon Building?"

"Humph, cut the crap. No one can save you today. Throw these two troublemakers out!"

The young master commanded the security guards with an air of superiority.

"What are you standing around for? We’re VIPs of Bright Moon Building. If you don’t get rid of these two, just wait until Mingyue Sister sees this. She’ll fire all of you."

Tch.

Li Feng chuckled and looked at him: "You know Xiao Mingyue?"

"Ptui. Li, you have the nerve to call our Mingyue Sister by her name, you’re really bold."

The young master pointed at Li Feng indignantly, as if he were a close relative of Xiao Mingyue.

"What are you waiting for? Move it. Bright Moon Building doesn’t feed you to be useless."

Li Feng snorted in disdain, not even bothering to glance at them, believing they were important. Li Feng stood still while the fresh-faced youth’s expression darkened like water.

He had to step forward. Otherwise, Bright Moon Building’s reputation would suffer, letting every Tom, Dick, and Harry make a scene.

"Security, throw these few out of Bright Moon Building."

"Yes!"

The security guards, already annoyed by the insults, upon hearing the fresh-faced youth’s order, aggressively lunged towards Ma Lin and his group, who were utterly baffled.

"Damn, you dare? We’re guests invited by Young Master Lin."

"Throw them out."

The fresh-faced youth ordered emotionlessly, and without hesitation, the security guards dragged Ma Lin and his friends out of Bright Moon Building like catching chickens.

"Mr. Feng, my apologies for the scene."

The fresh-faced youth turned, smiling apologetically, while Wang Qian sneered: "It’s indeed quite a spectacle, Bright Moon Building being bossed around by a bunch of clueless fools. Quite a slap in the face, isn’t it!"

"Pang Lingwu, didn’t you hear what this fatty said? Someone’s making a scene in my Bright Moon Building and slapping Xiao Mingyue’s face. Go and return the favor tenfold."

At that moment, a languid voice came from the second-floor railing.

"Yes."

Pang Lingwu, with one hand behind his back and the other resting on his stomach, slightly bowed, then turned and walked towards the exterior of Bright Moon Building.

"I’ll be waiting for you on the second floor."

Xiao Mingyue finished speaking and turned to leave.

"Ptah, you’re the fatty, your whole family are fatties." Wang Qian spat towards Xiao Mingyue’s departing figure, as Li Feng stepped onto the nearby staircase. Wang Qian tried to follow but was immediately blocked at the steps.

"Damn, what do you two mean? Get out of the way!"

"Move it, or Master Qian will slap you."

Li Feng ignored Wang Qian, who was stopped at the bottom, and ascended to the second floor. Following a long corridor, he arrived at the end: Water Moon Pavilion.

The door was ajar and not closed. Li Feng pushed it open, only to find another corridor behind it, a suspended walkway that arched over an artificial lake below, which was crowned by a crystal pavilion.

The moon seemed to penetrate the pavilion and was reflected on the lake below, creating a stunning sight in the night.

Water Moon Pavilion was serene, with high walls and bamboo forming a small secluded world. Li Feng entered the pavilion, stepping into Water Moon Pavilion.

Lifting his eyes, he saw Xiao Mingyue seated at a tea table.

Xiao Mingyue just lifted her gaze slightly: "Sit."

Li Feng watched Xiao Mingyue, who was dressed in pale moonlight clothes, meticulously preparing tea. Kneeling on the couch, she outlined a perfect curve.

The clothing required superb poise to carry, and such kneeling posture was even trickier. Any hint of puffiness would be obviously apparent, ruining the aesthetic.

Yet Xiao Mingyue exuded an utmost grace, with each motion and stillness carrying a harmonious charm.

Li Feng approached the tea table, not casually sitting with crossed legs, but adopting an ancient kneeling posture, unrecorded since Tang and Song dynasties at least.

Xiao Mingyue showed slight surprise but didn’t slow her movements. She quickly finished three rinses and three infusions, handing the final cup to Li Feng.

"This is pre-rain Longjing tea, picked using tips of virgin thumbs, made by the ancient method, using spring water from Mount Wuyi."

Li Feng took the cup of pre-rain Longjing tea and, placing it to his mouth, drained it in one gulp. Obviously, Xiao Mingyue was taken aback by his way of drinking.

Li Feng smirked and spoke: "Xiao Mingyue, the tea is fine, but now is not the time for tea-tasting. Since you invited me here, let’s just get straight to the point."

"Ah, it seems we’re destined not to sit and chat over tea."

Xiao Mingyue sighed.

"I want you to withdraw from Century Group. Of course, we’ll pay a satisfying price for your shares."

Xiao Mingyue knew much more about Li Feng, the Crown Prince of Huacheng, unlike Ma Lin and the others who were ignorant of his true stature.

"You want me to withdraw!"

Li Feng narrowed his eyes at Xiao Mingyue: "Do you think I, Li Feng, will spit out what I’ve already taken into my mouth?"

Xiao Mingyue’s eyes met Li Feng’s unflinchingly.

"Hidden Dragon, this is Sea City, not your Huacheng. The rules of Sea City are set by me."

Xiao Mingyue’s voice was quiet but filled with an undeniable dominance.

The empress of Sea City wasn’t just a pretty title.

"You’re overstepping your bounds."
