Chapter 61: Chapter 61 Do Not Be Too Arrogant

Han Li had long been a known figure in Huacheng; when he had begun to make a name for himself in Huacheng, Li Feng was still being nursed by women. Although he acknowledged Li Feng’s excellence, with new waves pushing the old, being too conceited was simply courting death.

"Kid, don’t be too arrogant, or you won’t even know how you’ll die."

Han Li’s tone was one of lecturing, looking at Li Feng arrogantly with an air of superiority. It was only in recent years that he had cultivated his personality, regarding fights and killings from a different level— as long as no one provoked him, he was too lazy to care, somewhat looking on life with amusement.

Li Feng was a name he had heard long ago, simply a rising star. There were always talents emerging, and Han Li had seen many such youngsters over the years, but few remained alive in the end.

"Of course, you have the ability. Being talented and arrogant is okay, and I even admire you. How about it, consider being my right-hand man?"

"Since you’ve sought me out, you should know what kind of person Han Li is. With me, in Huacheng, you wouldn’t exactly walk sideways, but almost."

"Your nickname isn’t ’Hidden Dragon’ for nothing; once you’re with me, that title will truly be yours to keep, and no one will dare touch you."

"Even that old fogey from Sihai Group, if he wants to lay a hand on you, he won’t have a chance."

Han Li directly tried to recruit Li Feng, who had bravely made his way alone into Caesar Palace. Just for that bravery alone, he liked him; his temperament was right up his alley.

"Han Lord, who is he?"

Han Li noticed Li Feng’s gaze, quickly reached out his hand, and pulled his lover close: "What, you fancy her? If you nod, she’s yours."

With a pull, the young beauty was pushed directly towards Li Feng.

"Han Lord, I don’t want to, I only like you."

Li Feng looked at the coquettish lover of Han Li, goosebumps erupting all over: "Have you said all you want to say?"

"What do you mean?"

Han Li looked towards Li Feng with knitted brows: "Don’t refuse the toast only to drink the forfeit."

Li Feng sneered coldly: "You talk a lot, all just for one reason, you’re just buying time. Trying to recruit me now, I don’t believe it, do you believe it yourself?"

"You’ve ultimately grown old."

Han Li, hearing Li Feng’s scornful words, was furious, his cold eyes glaring at Li Feng: "Ha, kid you truly are too conceited, really think I am afraid of you."

"Come here."

Han Li shouted loudly toward the doorway, but there was no response at the door.

"Come here."

Li Feng looked coldly at Han Li calling out: "Your men look like they’ve been frightened stiff."

"What have you done?"

Li Feng shrugged his shoulders: "Just killed a person— it seems his name was Luo Meng."

"You killed Luo Meng."

Han Li’s eyes widened; Luo Meng was his ace, the champion of a hundred matches and a god of war in the fighting ring.

Li Feng watched Han Li’s expression shift, shaking his head: "Enough talk, I don’t care why you came to kill me, but since you made your move and I didn’t die, now it’s your turn to die."

Li Feng waved his arm, his fingers like knives.

A bead of sweat streamed down Han Li’s forehead, Li Feng’s contemptuous demeanor infuriating him, but he was no slouch; he was the Judge, controlling life and death itself. Han Li, at over forty years old, was still exceedingly strong, his eight-pack abs no joke.

"You’re the one who’s going to die."

Han Li threw a punch straight at Li Feng’s face, his fist strong like a blade, but Li Feng coldly snorted, raised his hand, swept aside Han Li’s arm, and like a blade leaving its sheath, his hand stabbed straight into Han Li’s chest.

"Pff."

"This cannot be."

Li Feng looked up at Han Li: "You’ve overestimated yourself, now die."

"Ah!"

Han Li’s lover, seeing this bloody scene, screamed shrilly, Li Feng pulled out his arm, and the woman, terrified, sat down hard on the ground.

"Don’t kill me, I’ll do anything you want."

Li Feng looked at the woman who had visibly wet herself, suddenly turned, and without another glance, he walked out of Han Li’s room, into the corridor which, just as Han Li had said, was packed to the point of being impassable.

But the moment they saw Li Feng, the crowd parted instantly, creating a pathway.

Ghost approached the door, glancing into the room at the gruesome scene, swallowed nervously, and quickly followed after Li Feng.

"Young Master Feng."

"Anything else?" Li Feng stopped and looked at Ghost.

"Han Li is dead, and all his people and power naturally belong to you now. Do you have any plans?"

"I’m not interested. If you want to take over here, then do it."

Li Feng gazed at the bowing Ghost, who closely followed behind: "Young Master Feng, since you’ve decreed it, I’ll manage it for you. Whatever instructions you have in the future, I, Li Yiming, will be always at your service."

Li Feng didn’t turn back, just raised his hand in dismissal: "No need to see me off."

That Han Li’s earlier calls had gone unanswered was likely not only due to Li Yiming’s intervention but also possibly because everyone feared Li Feng after he had eliminated Luo Meng.

Otherwise, with three to five hundred people in that corridor, even if Li Feng could fight his way out, he’d be exhausted to death and wouldn’t escape unscathed. The other side had likely intended to use someone else’s hand to kill him, but Li Feng couldn’t be bothered to engage in such pretense.

"Do you know where he went, why isn’t he answering his phone?"

Wang Jin’er looked towards Bai He, unable to keep calm, while Shen Yanran grabbed Wang Jin’er’s arm and pulled her to sit on the sofa.

"Jin’er, can’t you just sit quietly for a while? Tell me the truth, you haven’t fallen for him, have you?"

Shen Yanran was a straightforward tomboy, but she was not foolish.

"What are you talking about? I’ve only met him a few times. I’m worried about him because...!"

"Keep pretending."

"Who’s pretending? It’d be the same for anyone else; I’d still be worried."

Wang Jin’er bit her lip defensively.

"Manager Bai, Young Master Feng is back."

"He’s back? Where is he?" Bai He immediately twisted around, and upon hearing this, Wang Jin’er stood up from the sofa: "Is he alright? Where is he now?"

"He’s in the elevator, coming up."

Shen Yanran watched Wang Jin’er dash out of the room urgently, snorted through her nose, and pouted: "Girls really are outgoing; it hasn’t even been that long."
