Chapter 59: Chapter 59

The gang leader’s arrogance didn’t last a second before his pupils dilated. He watched Li Feng’s bold advance, cursing inwardly. Did he really think he wouldn’t shoot?

Without another word, the gang leader pulled the trigger.

The gun didn’t fire.

The gang leader stared as Li Feng grabbed the barrel of the gun, momentarily stunned. What was this move? Li Feng gave a cold smile and suddenly twisted with force.

Snap.

Li Feng had ripped the gun apart, its components scattering in all directions. Li Feng then stepped forward and punched the adversary square in the face.

Thud.

The gang leader fell backwards, his mind buzzing with disbelief. Was this man not afraid of dying?

"Who sent you, who do you work for?"

Li Feng looked down from a height at the man on the ground. The man swallowed his own blood and glared at Li Feng, "What kind of man do you take me for, to betray...!"

Li Feng stepped on the man’s hand without warning, causing a cracking sound. The gang leader screamed in agony, glaring at Li Feng.

Li Feng’s gaze was icy as he spoke, "You can choose to remain silent, but only if you can endure the pain. There are two hundred and six bones in the human body. Of course, I can’t break each one, but I can assure you that even crawling will become a luxury for you."

This was not an idle threat from Li Feng. Without giving the gang leader any time to react, he stepped down again on the broken bones, the severe pain shooting through the man’s nerves.

"I, I’ll talk."

Li Feng’s foot hovered mid-air as he watched the cowed gang leader, who looked at Li Feng as if he was a demon, sweating profusely, "It’s Han Li, my boss is Han Li."

"Han Li?"

Li Feng frowned at the unfamiliar name. "Are you lying to me?"

"No, I’m not lying to you, my boss is really Han Li, right, he has a nickname on the streets, Judge."

Judge.

Hearing the moniker Judge, Li Feng recognized it: Yama Palace’s soul-seeking Judge. It seemed likely that the Sihai Group’s Qi Haomin was indeed behind this.

"Tell me, where can I find this Judge?"

Li Feng looked down at the man, who clenched his teeth and returned his gaze, "Life and Death Platform."

"What place is that?"

As Li Feng applied pressure with his foot, the pained gang leader hurriedly explained, "It’s a fight club, owned by our boss. He calls it the Life and Death Platform, and he’s usually there more often than anywhere else. That’s all I truly know; I’m just a lackey."

"Where is this fight club, and how do I get in?"

Li Feng pressed for details.

The gang leader confessed everything, "I’ve already told you everything I know." Looking at the gang leader breaking down, Li Feng knocked him unconscious with a kick.

Bai He called. Li Feng answered.

"Young Master Feng."

Before Bai He could continue, Wang Jin’er’s anxious voice cut in from the side, "Li Feng, are you alright? We’re coming to find you right now."

Li Feng, hearing Wang Jin’er’s voice, said, "Bai He, take the two of them to Outer Heaven. I’ll handle the rest when I get back."

"Li Feng, where are you going!"

Li Feng hung up the phone, bypassing the road-blocking truck. On the other side of the truck, several more vehicles were parked. Li Feng found one with keys inside, jumped in, and floored the gas pedal towards Huacheng.

"Boss, the ambush failed."

"A bunch of trash." Han Li slammed down his favorite Zisha teapot, his rugged face framed by a full beard. Though he was over forty, he was still strong, energetic, and full of vigor.

"Boss Han, why are you so angry?"

Hearing the voice, a young woman emerged from the bedroom, wearing only a short towel, her slender, ivory chopstick-like legs quite captivating.

Han Li glanced at the coquettish woman, his anger flared even higher. He reached out, yanked the towel away from her.

"Ah, there are others here."

The woman looked shyly at Han Li. Unconcerned, Han Li grabbed her and pressed her onto his large mahogany desk.

The man who had come to report quickly retreated, even wiping the sweat off his forehead, thankful that the woman had arrived; otherwise, he would have been in for it.

"Ghost Brother, it’s bad news."

"What’s happened now?"

The man looking at his underling rushing in asked impatiently.

"There are people smashing up our place."

"Who’s so blind as to dare smash up Caesar Palace? They must be asking for trouble."

Caesar Palace.

It was a notorious spot in the Huacheng nightclub scene, located in the Sanyuanli area. This part of the city was crowded with nightclubs, and Caesar Palace was among the top three hottest spots around, although it was still daytime and Caesar Palace hadn’t opened yet.

"Ghost Brother."

"Ghost Brother."

"Where are the people smashing up the place?"

"Over by the bar, that bastard hurt our guys."

Upon hearing this, Ghost Brother shot a cold glance at the speaker, "Are you all made of wood? People come smashing up our place and you just stand around here?"

"Ghost Brother, that person’s too brutal."

"Spare me the excuses. I don’t pay you to twiddle your thumbs," Ghost Brother broke in coldly. "Where’s Liu Lang?"

"Ghost Brother, Wolf Brother is getting stepped on by that guy," someone said in a low voice. Ghost Brother was taken aback: "Come here."

"Ghost Brother, at your command."

Ghost Brother whispered a couple of instructions into the man’s ear and waved him away: "Hurry up and go."

"Yes, Ghost Brother."

Ghost Brother took a deep breath and approached the bar area of Caesar Palace with the air of a star amidst his entourage, the waitstaff parting to create a path for him. As he walked up, he immediately saw Liu Lang, the head of security for Caesar Palace, being stepped on and his head ground into the ground.

Ghost Brother looked up to see Li Feng sitting in the booth, his pupils dilating as he recognized him at a glance.

Sss.

Li Feng looked up at the approaching man: "You know me!"

Ghost Brother, turning to face Li Feng, hadn’t expected that right after reporting to the boss, the guy would come knocking at their door, his revenge coming so swiftly.

"You are Li Feng."

Ghost Brother sucked in air and tried to calm down quickly as Li Feng downed his drink and stood up, turning to face him.

"Good, as long as you know. I’m here to see your boss, Han Li. Take me to him."

Ghost Brother looked at Li Feng: "Sorry, our boss isn’t in."

"Not in?"

Li Feng’s cold gaze fell on Ghost Brother, a chill running down Ghost Brother’s spine: "He’s not here."

Li Feng regarded Ghost Brother: "Then call him. Don’t tell me you don’t know his number. Think carefully before you answer. Otherwise, I’ll burn your Caesar Palace to the ground with one fire. I doubt he’ll stay away then."

"Who has the guts to spout such nonsense in Caesar Palace?"

Before Ghost Brother could speak, a gruff voice came from behind. At that moment, a towering giant over two meters tall pushed through the crowd of waitstaff and approached, his tiger-like eyes scanning over Li Feng.

"Kid, if you’re tired of living, just say it. I’ll send you off to meet King Yan myself."

The giant cracked his knuckles, making a series of popping sounds.

Sss.

"Luo Meng."

"Who’s he?"

"You’re new here so you wouldn’t know, never having been down before. His name is Luo Meng. He’s got a notable nickname, Mammoth and he’s an absolute monster, recklessly fierce."

"Is he a fighter from the ring?"
