Chapter 49: Chapter 49: The Biggest Sugar Daddy

Lan Fei frowned, clearly displeased by the bloody mess Meng Qiang had made on her territory. The beautiful manager beside her also turned her head to look down the corridor ahead.

However, there were many of Meng Qiang’s subordinates in the corridor, blocking their view, so they couldn’t see clearly what was happening inside. But given the current situation, that person was undoubtedly doomed.

"Lan Jie, shall we go upstairs to sit for a while?"

Lan Fei nodded. Meng Qiang was not a kind man, and angering him would likely result in an unpleasant death. There was no need to offend her eyes.

"Boss."

"Damn, the boss got totally beaten up."

Inside the corridor, a group of employees from the cleaning company stared dumbfounded at Meng Qiang’s miserable state. They knew their boss was a boxing expert who had also practiced Muay Thai. Normally, seven or eight people could not get close to him.

Usually, this tragic appearance was his opponent’s fate; it was unexpected that fortunes would change like this.

Li Feng walked out of the private room and looked at Meng Qiang, who was slumped against the wall, spitting blood.

People from Yongqiang Company gasped as they watched this leisurely man walk out, lighting a cigarette.

One of them stepped forward and grabbed Meng Qiang by the collar, hoisting him up before twisting and executing a shoulder throw, sending Meng Qiang crashing into a group of people in the hallway like a cannonball.

Back in the corridor, Meng Qiang’s henchmen had yet to recover from the shock.

What they saw left them somewhat baffled.

Who was he?

Li Feng was not inclined to care about what Meng Qiang’s henchmen were thinking. After using Meng Qiang like a cannonball, Li Feng tapped his foot lightly and darted into the still-recovering crowd like a dragonfly skimming over water.

Crack.

Li Feng’s moves were precise and ruthless. Where his hands went, bones broke, and tendons snapped. This technique, known as the Tendon and Bone Separation Technique in ancient times and as the Joint Technique in modern times, could defeat an opponent instantly, rendering them unable to counterattack.

Li Feng almost steamrolled through, and the back row of thugs, regaining their senses and beginning to counterattack, faced the same fate—nearly everyone who encountered Li Feng couldn’t escape the same outcome.

Lan Fei halted, hearing that something was off in the sounds coming from the corridor. This was not the sound of a group of people brutally beating one person, but many people screaming.

Lan Fei turned to look at the corridor, just as someone flew over like a cannonball.

"Lan Jie, be careful."

The beautiful manager stepped in front of Lan Fei, glancing down at the burly man who had fallen in front of her clutching his chest, then raised her head to look ahead.

Hiss.

That man had just cut through an entire corridor, leaving only a few of Meng Qiang’s men still standing. The beautiful manager watched as Li Feng punched one man in the temple, the capable subordinate of Meng Qiang whose head smashed right into the corridor wall.

Li Feng swept through the remaining men like a whirlwind, then looked up towards the corridor’s end where the regal Lan Fei and another elegant beauty stood.

Meng Qiang struggled to his feet, grabbed a piece of broken glass next to him, and roared as he lunged towards Li Feng.

Gulp.

The beautiful manager swallowed nervously watching Li Feng casually walk towards them, both hands in his pockets and his body tense. Li Feng glanced at the beautiful manager in a fighting stance, then flicked his eyes to Lan Fei.

"You pressed some good points earlier; I’ll come by often. Oh, and about the damage, just name your price for the repairs. I’m going downstairs to take a shower first."

Li Feng said, turned, and walked toward the stairs. The burly man in front of Li Feng instinctively moved aside, his face slightly embarrassed.

Seeing this, Lan Fei waved her hand at those people and watched as Li Feng descended the stairs as if no one was there.

"Lan Jie, are you really letting him go?"

"Then why didn’t you stop him earlier?"

"Alright," Lan Fei immediately silenced her two subordinates. "Go check if Meng Qiang is still alright. Don’t hold up my business."

"Yes, Lan Jie."

Li Feng went to the men’s bath, took a shower, changed his clothes, and came downstairs, with Lan Fei waiting in the lobby.

"It’s settled then, how much is the total?"

"Forget the money, could I perhaps have the honor of making a friend? My name is Lan Fei, the owner here."

Li Feng looked at Lan Fei, extending her delicate hand: "Heh, making friends with me? Are you also in the business of killing?"

Lan Fei gave a light smile: "Yes and no, I’m just a businesswoman who wants to conduct my business peacefully."

Li Feng looked at Lan Fei: "Friendship isn’t something to be taken lightly; I appreciate your kind gesture. I’ll stop by when I have time."

Li Feng swiftly turned and left. Lan Fei’s face bore a trace of embarrassment, and the beautiful manager beside her, Mu Xiaoting, seemed indignant but was stopped by Lan Fei.

"At least leave us a name."

"My name is Li Feng."

Li Feng didn’t look back as he left his name; he hadn’t come to do good deeds, so of course, he would leave a name.

"Li Feng."

Lan Fei murmured Li Feng’s name, while Mu Xiaoting clenched her fists in frustration: "What kind of person is this, so full of himself? Lan Jie, you took the initiative to be nice, and he doesn’t care at all, acting like he’s someone important!"

Lan Fei suddenly took a sharp breath.

Mu Xiaoting turned to Lan Fei: "Lan Jie, what’s wrong?"

"It’s him."

"Who?"

"The Hidden Dragon of Huacheng, rumored to be an abandoned scion of a great family in Jin City!"

"Oh, an abandoned scion?"

"That’s right, an abandoned scion, but he’s built quite a foundation in Huacheng. He’s said to be the biggest financial backer behind the scenes in Huacheng."

"Uh?"

Meanwhile, Qi Haomin, chairman of Sihai Group, after much investigation finally got his answer: "It’s that Li Feng, who schemes behind the scenes, unsuitable for public appearances, yet claims to be the Hidden Dragon of Huacheng."

"Good, now I know. Old Wang, I owe you one."

"A mere nobody, daring to touch the whiskers of my Sihai Group. When I was making my mark in Huacheng and laying down the foundations of Sihai, you were still playing with mud."
