Chapter 386: Chapter 386 Xiao Mingyue
Li Feng pressed one hand on the table while Xiao Yu exerted all her strength but failed to overturn it.
"Weakling!"
Li Feng looked at Xiao Yu with disdain, hooked her ankle with his foot, and with a thud, Xiao Yu fell squarely on her buttocks onto the glass floor.
"I...!"
Xiao Yu was about to unleash a torrent of curses through gritted teeth when Li Feng grabbed a cup of ice water from the table and splashed it in her face.
By some odd coincidence, an ice cube from the water got stuck in Xiao Yu’s throat, causing her eyes to roll up white, akin to a dead fish.
Seeing this, Li Feng lifted his foot and kicked her in the chest, causing Xiao Yu’s head to smack down onto the floor with a clunk and dislodged the ice cube from her throat.
Cough, cough cough.
Xiao Yu coughed violently like someone drowning, gasping for air in huge breaths.
"What’s going on!"
Right then, the boss of Sea City Mingyue rushed over anxiously. The server, seeing their boss had arrived, quickly stepped forward and whispered in her ear.
"Okay, I got it."
The boss of Sea City Mingyue was a woman, to be exact, a mature woman in her thirties still retaining a certain charm, clad in a bright red dress that highlighted her impressive figure, yet the corners of her eyes couldn’t hide the traces of years.
This woman walked up, surprisingly didn’t even glance at Xiao Yu, but instead sized up Li Feng from head to toe, then turned her gaze to Wang Qian.
"Little girl really has such tender skin, no wonder she has caused such a stir of jealousy."
Xiao Mingyue reached out to caress Wang Qian’s cheek, which Wang Qian instinctively dodged, looking towards this somewhat odd woman.
When Xiao Mingyue was dodged, she simply smiled faintly and twisted her body to look at Li Feng.
"Daring to cause trouble in my Sea City Mingyue, you’ve got guts. However, there’s a cause for everything. I’ll let you off this time. Get lost."
"Miss, don’t be afraid of your sister here, I’m not a bad person. It’s just that you remind me a bit of myself in my younger days, and I wanted to take you as my little sister."
Xiao Mingyue was blunt with Li Feng, but when she turned to look at Wang Qian, her demeanor was pleasant, her countenance changing as quickly as clouds over the grasslands, akin to the pages of a book flipped by the wind.
Li Feng furrowed his brow—this woman seemed to be the owner of the restaurant, but apparently with an extraordinary background.
Xiao Yu, holding the back of her head, stood up: "Mingyue Sister, I got bullied on your turf, and you’re letting him go? How can I save face?"
Xiao Mingyue turned and swept her gaze toward Xiao Yu: "Xiao Yu, do I need to spell out what kind of person you are? Haven’t I warned you before not to cause trouble in my restaurant? I welcome you to bring people for meals, but don’t hit on other people’s sisters in my restaurant."
"Where does that leave my face?"
Xiao Mingyue looked at Xiao Yu with a cold face, and Xiao Yu instantly fell silent: "No, no, Mingyue Sister, this scumbag is just playing the field. Isn’t it because I was worried about this young lady being deceived that I stepped in to warn her?"
"Oh, so you’re saying you were being kind-hearted."
Xiao Mingyue said derisively and immediately addressed a hulking figure that had appeared with her: "It seems he still isn’t quite sober. Help Xiao Yu wake up a bit."
As soon as Xiao Mingyue’s voice fell, the hulking figure bent down, grabbed Xiao Yu with one hand just like a weightlifter would, hoisted him over his head, and then tossed Xiao Yu into the river.
After dealing with Xiao Yu, Xiao Mingyue turned her head toward Li Feng.
"I believe I just said for you to get lost."
Xiao Mingyue looked at Li Feng with disdain, though Xiao Yu’s earlier words hadn’t been entirely without effect; she just didn’t like to back down.
"Heh."
Li Feng looked at the female boss in red facing him; her domineering manner was quite on par with Dong Xin.
"You tell me to get lost, and I’m just supposed to lose face like that?"
"A-San."
"Yes, Miss."
The hulking figure was at Li Feng’s side in two steps, stretching out his large palm directly toward Li Feng’s collar.
Li Feng reached out and grabbed the burly man’s fingers, lifting his foot and kicking the opponent’s shin with precision, executing the moves seamlessly.
Thump.
The towering hulk immediately went down on one knee before Li Feng, grimacing but making no sound.
Xiao Mingyue’s brow furrowed at the sight of the burly man kneeling.
"Ah!"
As Xiao Mingyue’s brow creased, the hulking man went berserk all at once. Li Feng huffed, swiftly striking the man’s carotid artery with a lightning-fast chop of his hand.
The roaring giant slumped to the ground, dazed and sideways.
"Can’t even have a meal in peace, let’s go, I’ll take you to another place to eat."
Li Feng rose and said to Wang Qian, who hummed in agreement, stood up, and hurried past Xiao Mingyue towards Li Feng.
"Stop right there!"
Xiao Mingyue watched Li Feng, who didn’t seem to care about her presence, with a dark expression; she, Xiao Mingyue, had never been so humiliated.
"Don’t bother with her."
Li Feng reached out, hooked his arm around Wang Qian’s shoulders, and walked out with her in tow.
Xiao Mingyue had not expected Li Feng to ignore her completely. Her face couldn’t bear the loss of face; she stepped forward and blocked Li Feng and Wang Qian’s path.
"I told you to stop, didn’t you hear me?"
Li Feng looked at Xiao Mingyue, who blocked his way, and spoke nonchalantly, "Just because you tell me to stop, does that mean I have to?"
"Don’t you know who I am?"
Xiao Mingyue glared at Li Feng.
Li Feng curled his lip, "Do I need to know who you are? Seeing as you’re an older woman, I gave you some face, but that doesn’t mean you can compete with me for a woman."
"Move aside."
Li Feng’s words deeply offended Xiao Mingyue, as there was nothing a woman nearing forty feared more than being called old.
Xiao Mingyue almost laughed out loud in anger, "It’s been many years since anyone dared speak to me like this. You are the first."
"Tell me your name."
"Later, I can erect a gravestone for you, so you don’t end up a lonely ghost after you die," Xiao Mingyue said coldly, as if looking at a dead man.
"What, don’t have the courage?"
Li Feng shrugged and replied, "I’ve only heard that biting dogs don’t bark and barking dogs don’t bite, not sure which type you are!"
"Fuck."
"Damn, who is this kid, daring to talk to Sister Xiao like that?"
"Can’t you see? He’s just a brash youngster, an idiot. Probably has no idea about Sister Xiao’s background."
"Right, I think so too, in Sea City, even the heads of the top ten corporations would be polite to Sister Xiao."
"You dare insult my dogs!"
Xiao Mingyue had never seen such an arrogant and wild young man, daring to insult her to her face.
Li Feng curled his lip: "You’re in the way."
After saying that, Li Feng pushed Xiao Mingyue, who was blocking his path, aside with his hand. Xiao Mingyue staggered and almost fell, while Li Feng walked away with Wang Qian in his arms.
Xiao Mingyue steadied herself and, looking at Li Feng’s back with fury rushing to her head, commanded, "Bring that Xiao Yu to me."
In Sea City, there hadn’t been a young person who dared be so defiant against her.
"Should we really just leave like this? Is it okay?" Once they were out of the restaurant, Wang Qian turned with concern to look at Li Feng.
