Chapter 247: Chapter 247: Barking Dogs Seldom Bite
"Get everything on camera."
Just as he entered, a young punk saw Han Xue in just a bath towel and sneered repeatedly, instructing his subordinates holding a camera to take pictures.
"What are you doing? Stop it now."
Han Xue reached to cover her face, shouting furiously.
"Heh, what are we doing? We’re capturing the evidence of you adulterers, of course."
"Bro, without any pictures on the bed, it’s kinda lacking."
"That’s easy to handle."
The young punk sneered and signaled his followers with a glance; several thugs understood and moved forward, snickering coldly as they reached for Li Feng, who was sitting on the sofa.
Ah!
Li Feng quickly countered by grabbing the wrist on his shoulder and threw the thug over his back without a second wasted. The thug, caught off guard, was flung into the air by Li Feng.
Bang.
The thug’s spine smashed heavily onto the coffee table, letting out a pained cry.
Li Feng turned around, stretched his neck, and looked at the gangsters who had stormed in, with a slight sneer at the corner of his mouth.
"You dare to fight back? Attack him!"
The young punk snapped to his senses and immediately signaled his men to gang up on Li Feng. Li Feng got up, stepped on the sofa, and leaped into the air, performing a sweeping kick.
Bang, bang, bang.
A few thugs rushing forward were kicked in the face by Li Feng and laid out on the floor.
Click.
The thug hiding in the back with the camera didn’t forget to snap a photo of Li Feng.
As Li Feng landed, before he could stabilize himself, the young punk cursed and swung his fist towards him.
Li Feng quickly raised his hand and caught the incoming fist, looking coldly at the punk.
"Ah, ah!"
With a bit of force from Li Feng, the young punk screamed in pain, his body involuntarily kneeling on one knee.
One thug, seeing Li Feng’s arrogance, fished a switchblade from his pocket, pressed the spring, and the blade snapped out. He charged at Li Feng with a fierce expression.
"Be careful."
Sitting on the sofa, Han Xue couldn’t help but shout a warning when she saw this.
Thud!
"Ah!"
A scream echoed through the room.
"Where are you stabbing?"
"I’m sorry, bro, I didn’t mean to, I didn’t mean to stab you." The previously fierce thug suddenly became panicked. Li Feng scoffed coldly and promptly kicked the thug in the belly.
Thump.
The thug fell backward like a frog, his face making intimate contact with the ground.
Han Xue held her chest and took a breath, but then noticed someone trying to escape with the camera.
"Li Feng, don’t let them get away!"
Han Xue yelled at Li Feng.
"Mm-hmm."
Li Feng eyed the thug turning to run, scoffed coldly, and rapidly stepped forward to grab the thug’s shoulder and yanked him backward; the thug, under inertia, fell backward.
Thump.
Li Feng walked to the entryway to make sure no one was outside, then turned around, shut the door, and walked back to the living room, looking at the gangsters sprawled on the floor. Han Xue also got up and walked over, biting her lip, "Destroy these cameras, we can’t leave any photos behind."
Han Xue said with lingering fear. She had never expected Chen Muyang to actually send someone to secretly follow her.
If Li Feng had lost his head just now, they might have really been caught red-handed. Just the thought made Han Xue’s heart race.
"Go change your clothes first, I will take care of things here."
Li Feng glanced at Han Xue, wrapped in a towel. Sensing something different in Li Feng’s gaze, she nodded and turned towards the bedroom.
"Kid, do you know who I am? You’re dead meat," the young man lying on the floor said fiercely to Li Feng.
Li Feng, looking at the young man making threats, placed his foot on the man’s chest, "There’s a saying you’ve probably never heard."
"Hmm, what?"
"A biting dog doesn’t bark, a barking dog doesn’t bite."
The young man’s face turned red with restraint, the remark clearly insulting him as a dog that doesn’t bite, and he immediately struggled to get up.
Li Feng, stepping on him, said, "I’m curious whether you’re angry because I called you a dog, or because I said you don’t bite."
"Heh, I think it’s the latter."
"A warrior may be killed, but not insulted. I’m going all in."
Li Feng coldly watched as the young man tried to turn over, then lifted his foot allowing him to get up.
"Come on."
Li Feng beckoned with his fingers. The young man, though reluctant, had no choice but to go through with it, and he lunged at Li Feng with all his might.
Li Feng smirked coldly and with a swift turn, delivered a sidekick that sent the young man flying like a cannonball over the sofa, crashing into the sofa on the opposite side.
"I’m done changing."
Han Xue had only taken a little over a minute to come out of the bedroom, and Li Feng turned to look, involuntarily swallowing.
Li Feng snapped out of his daze after two seconds, "Let’s go then."
"Everything taken care of?"
"Phones, cameras, all dealt with. And the photos they took just now, even if taken out, won’t matter since it wasn’t a case of being caught in the act."
A flush appeared on Han Xue’s face.
"It’s too late for regrets now." Previously, Han Xue had made a desperate move, and now he asked her to throw herself into his arms, which she couldn’t do.
They left the hotel.
Li Feng took Han Xue directly to a property in Sea City, a safe house prepared by him, and he had several such safe houses.
"Stay here for now, don’t contact anyone outside, and don’t move around too much. As for food and drink, you can order takeout."
Hearing this, Han Xue turned to look at Li Feng, "Are you putting me under house arrest?"
Li Feng smiled faintly, "I’m not restricting your freedom, but if your dear son captures you, I won’t be responsible."
Han Xue bit her lip, "Where are you going?"
"To your family’s place to treat your old man," Li Feng waved and walked out the door.
"You!"
Han Xue watched as Li Feng closed the door, full of questions. The Chen family’s place was certainly under heavy surveillance; how could he possibly get in?
Li Feng didn’t immediately head to the Chen Family upon leaving the temporary safe house but instead went to Rongsheng Electronics Tower in Sea City.
This place was also the most famous electronics hub in Sea City, with many electronics merchants gathered in the nearby blocks. Similarly, there was a black market here.
Li Feng was familiar with the rules of the black market, so he quickly found the entrance to the black market, an inconspicuous mobile phone store.
"Boss, your goods here aren’t complete, do you have the genuine merchandise?"
