"Stop, no, that’s not right—shut up."

Li Feng turned his head to look at the young girl who had burst out of the villa’s gate. In the light of a nearby street lamp, Li Feng glanced over the girl’s face. She appeared to be no more than eighteen or nineteen and bore a striking resemblance to Mu Yuyan.

Her bright, expressive eyes seemed to speak, and her round, delicate, goose-egg face was exceptionally beautiful. Though slightly green, she was already a stunning beauty.

She wore a long-sleeved, round-neck T-shirt that covered half her thighs like a dress, with ultra-short denim shorts underneath that showed just the tip of the iceberg, revealing a pair of long, straight legs that were as taut as young bamboo.

"Yushi, why did you come out?"

Mu Yuyan, in her panic, pushed Li Feng away and looked toward her sister, Mu Yushi.

Mu Yushi snorted coquettishly, "Why did I come out? If I hadn’t, wouldn’t you have been eaten up by this guy?"

"Spill it, who are you, and what’s your relationship with my sister? How far have you two gone?"

Mu Yushi, like a machine gun, turned to Li Feng, her beautiful eyes sizing up the man who harbored bad intentions.

Li Feng looked at the demanding Mu Yushi with a shallow smile and replied, "My name is Li Feng. As for my relationship with your sister, we are friends, I guess."

"What do you mean you guess you’re friends? Can friends just kiss each other willy-nilly?"

Mu Yushi was not satisfied with Li Feng’s evasive answer.

"Big guy, are you even a man? You dare to do it but not admit it? If you like my sister, then just own up to it. You’re being a coward, do you know that?"

Mu Yushi clicked her tongue, provocatively egging him on while casting glances at Li Feng.

"Yushi."

Mu Yuyan stepped forward to block Mu Yushi, turned her head toward Li Feng, and said, "Let’s leave it at that for today. I won’t see you out. Goodbye."

With that, Mu Yuyan was about to push Mu Yushi back inside the gate.

But at that moment, another figure appeared at the doorway.

"Mom."

Mu Yuyan’s eyes lifted to meet her mother standing in the entrance, and her face immediately flushed red. She thought she was done for; the family’s discipline had always been very strict. Throughout her life, she had never been in a relationship.

"Since you’re already at the doorstep, why don’t you come in for a cup of tea before you go?"

Mu Yuyan’s mother spoke, then turned and entered the villa.

"Sis, you’re dead meat this time, just wait for the empress’s judgment," Mu Yushi said somewhat gleefully to her older sister.

Previously, she was punished by the empress for puppy love, still enduring economic sanctions and restricted movements.

Now, it was her sister’s turn to take the heat.

Mu Yuyan looked at Mu Yushi, "Don’t be too pleased with yourself. Remember, I’m already an adult, not some little school kid like you."

While Mu Yuyan said this, her heart was pounding. She turned her head to look at Li Feng and opened her mouth apologetically.

"Since your aunt is so hospitable, I’d be rude not to step inside for a cup of tea."

Mu Yuyan blinked and watched as Li Feng stepped into the villa without a hint of fear, feeling as if her head might explode.

"When my mom says anything later, just let it go in one ear and out the other. Don’t take it seriously or to heart, okay?"

Li Feng glanced at Mu Yuyan and chuckled, "Okay, but now you owe me another one."

Mu Yuyan rolled her eyes. How did she owe you again? But she wasn’t in the mood to argue, after all, meeting the parents was something she’d never done before.

Though it was all a misunderstanding.

Obviously, no one would listen to her explanation.

The Mu family’s villa was of European style; the first floor was the main hall. As Li Feng entered, he was invited to sit down.

"Please, have a seat."

Mu Yushi sat nearby, watching the trial unfold with a smile. She knew all too well the nature of her venerable grandmother – a person who couldn’t tolerate even a grain of sand in her eye.
