Li Feng drove his luxury car out of Outer Heaven, and by now, it was already past four in the morning. With the winter days drawing near, darkness still enveloped the sky.

At this hour, the streets had few cars, and the wide avenues were nearly free of any obstruction.

Suddenly, a dazzling high beam reflected in the rearview mirror, blinding Li Feng. He swerved slightly, shifting his gaze to catch sight of a black van rapidly catching up from behind.

Two more cars split out from behind the black van, one from the left and one from the right, accelerating into a three-car chase.

Li Feng sneered disdainfully and shifted gears to accelerate. The van sped up in pursuit, initiating a high-speed chase.

There was an intersection up ahead.

Abruptly, a roar of a high-powered engine sounded. An SUV abruptly cut in, drifting around the corner with a showy tail flick.

The SUV accelerated past Li Feng, whose attention was caught by the driver in the overtaking vehicle. The driver rolled down his window and gave Li Feng the middle finger.

Immediately afterward, the SUV twisted its front end, bearing down on Li Feng’s luxury car for a collision.

Li Feng tapped the brakes, causing his car to jerk to a sudden halt.

The SUV impacted the front of the luxury car head-on, splintering numerous parts in an instant. Then, the van following close behind slammed hard into the rear of the luxury vehicle.

Li Feng quickly shifted gears, pressed the accelerator, and yanked the steering wheel to the right.

Crash.

The luxury car slammed brutally into an oncoming car that had appeared to the right, almost savagely forcing its way through.

"Heh, still trying to run away."

The SUV that had cut him off also turned right, its bulk ready to clash head-on with Li Feng’s car.

Li Feng expertly drifted the luxury car, performing a 180-degree turn in the lane.

The car skid 180 degrees on the spot, rotating back again to face the oncoming vans and the Hummer SUV. Li Feng released the brake and floored the gas pedal once more.

The luxury car shot out like an arrow released from its bow.

The drivers of the cars Li Feng had feinted were all left stunned.

A roar echoed inside a vehicle, but the other cars were not prepared to make a quick U-turn. The delay gave Li Feng enough time to widen the gap.

While the pursuing cars lagged behind, Li Feng drove the luxury car back to Qinhuai Road, swerving into an alley and stopping in front of the grand gates of Night Not Returned.

"Why does this place seem familiar?"

The occupants of the chasing cars also saw the massive sign for Night Not Returned.

"Is this guy walking right into the net on his own?"

The people in the car were baffled. They had thought Li Feng was trying to escape, but instead, he had arrived at Night Not Returned.

What was happening?
