Chapter 128 Dragon Master

Chapter 128: Chapter 128 Dragon Master

"Dragon Lord."

The night manager of Night Irreturnable stood outside, looking at the middle-aged man who had just descended from a luxury car, his heart feeling ice-cold.

Young Master of Outer Heaven had actually died.

And he had died silently.

Although this young master was a wastrel and a scion of wealth, despised by him inwardly, he couldn’t ignore the fact that the young master’s father was a formidable man.

His father, Long Ao, owned half of Huacheng’s entertainment venues.

"It was you who called me to tell me that my son is dead!"

Sweat beaded and streamed down the manager’s forehead.

"Yes, it was me."

The manager felt the scorching glare, which was like the peak of Mount Tai pressing down, causing a chill to shoot up his spine.

Long Ao lifted his leg and fiercely kicked the manager’s portly stomach: "You bunch of trash, my son is dead, why are you still alive?"

Long Ao pummeled and kicked the manager for a while, and the manager curled up, gritting his teeth and taking the beating.

"Get up."

Long Ao stopped his assault and glanced at the manager, who felt like he had survived a catastrophe, and he scrambled to his feet, crouching and following behind Long Ao.

"Do you know who did it?"

The manager shook his head: "Not yet."

"Don’t know?"

The manager’s heart trembled, but he knew that with Young Master’s death, he had no escape. If he ran, death would come even faster.

Dragon Lord doesn’t kill by the law, just by the rule that if you have no guilt in your heart, why would you run? And that alone was enough to sentence him to death.

"Dragon Lord, I’ve already had someone check the surveillance footage. We have potential suspects. However, there were no cameras on the floor where Young Master was killed, and the person who killed him was very skillful.

"Everyone who was supposed to be on guard was knocked unconscious, and everyone in Young Master’s private room is dead—there’s no one left to identify the killer. But, at the time, there was a gambler in debt in Young Master’s private room."

"A gambler?"

"Yes, it seems Young Master had taken a liking to this gambler’s wife and daughter. The mother and daughter were not present; it looks like they were taken away by someone. That person is very likely the one who killed Young Master."

"You say ’it looks like’?"

"It’s him."

The manager said through gritted teeth, at this point it didn’t matter whether it was him or not. They needed a target; otherwise, there was no telling where Dragon Lord’s fury would land, and he did not wish to die yet.

"Why is it so noisy?"

As soon as Long Ao entered Night Irreturnable, his face darkened.

The manager quickly spoke up: "We didn’t want Young Master’s death to be known, so...!"

"My son, Long Ao, dies, and yet these people are having such a good time, do you think that’s appropriate?"

Long Ao turned his head to look at the manager.

"No, it’s not appropriate, I’ll just...!"

"No need for you, you guys go."

Long Ao glanced back.

"Yes, Dragon Lord."

"Clear the room."

Long Ao did not come alone. His son had died, and to homicide at that—how could Long Ao possibly come on his own?

Rows of bodyguards in black suits streamed past Long Ao and charged into the venue of Night Irreturnable—there were no fewer than a hundred.

The manager gulped and stepped aside, leading Long Ao upstairs, while inside the night club, screams erupted nonstop.

In the private room on the third floor, furthest in.

Long Ao looked at his son lying in a pool of blood, radiating a fierce and deadly aura. A young man stepped forward to check Long Jiutian’s body, then stood up and reported to Long Ao.

"Dragon Lord, there are only two noticeable wounds on Young Master. One on his face—it looks like he was kicked, as several of his teeth are missing."

"The knife wound on his thigh was the fatal one, the femoral artery was severed. Judging by the amount of blood on the floor, Young Master died from excessive blood loss."

"Young Master must have tried to save himself, but failed. With the rate of bleeding from an artery, Young Master would have lasted at least three to five minutes before dying of shock."

Long Ao clenched his fists, "This is a massacre. Who the hell did this?"

Long Ao grabbed the collar of a security guard standing by and twisted the man’s neck with one hand, breaking it instantly. At the same time, he spun around and kicked another guard in the chest.

Crack.

The guard’s chest caved in, and he was thrown back, landing on a sofa far away, obviously struggling to breathe more than he could exhale.

Another guard tried to run upon seeing this.

"Run."

Long Ao immediately grabbed the knife that had killed his son and chased after the guard, stabbing him repeatedly, over a dozen times.

Gurgle.

Manager Xiong watched, not daring to let out a peep, terrified that Long Ao would remember him and stab him to death too.

"Find that person for me, or else you, and everyone here, will die."

Long Ao turned his head to look at Manager Xiong, speaking coldly.

"Yes, Long Ye, right away, right away."

"Long Ye, relying on these useless people will probably be more of a hindrance than a help."

"Hmm, split some people off, I want them alive, or I want to see their bodies."

Long Ao crouched down and picked up Long Jiutian.

"I want to use the culprit’s head to pay respects to my son."

"Yes."

Long Ao waved his hand, ordering everyone out; he wanted some time alone with his son. People hurried out of the room at Long Ao’s side.

Everyone knew that Long Ao had only this one beloved son; Long Jiutian’s death meant the end of Long Ao’s lineage. It was clear the person who dared to touch Long Jiutian was as good as dead.

"Brother Feng, how is my sister doing, you two haven’t...!" Yun Qi rushed to Outer Heaven and upon seeing Li Feng, he immediately inquired.

"I’m not interested in your sister."

"Bro, whether you’re interested or not isn’t the issue. My sister is a rare beauty, with an alluring figure, and the most important thing is she’s been drugged."

"Bro, you can’t just stand by and do nothing, letting my sister suffer. Her brain will burn out, how can you bear it!"

Li Feng rolled his eyes, "What, you’re disappointed I didn’t sleep with your sister?"

"It’s not about disappointment, it’s about brains! If my sister turns into a vegetable, my parents are going to kill me."

"Bro, how can you stand by and watch?"

Yun Qi looked utterly heartbroken.

"Your sister took ecstasy, not some small medicine pills; she’ll be fine once it wears off," Li Feng said, really wanting to kick him.

Yun Qi blinked, "Who would do this, half-assing the drug?"

"Heh, you’re really afraid your sister won’t get married, huh?"

Li Feng teased, looking at Yun Qi.

"Cough, it’s not that, bro. Who did it? Damn it, daring to drug my sister, they’ve got the gall of a bear and the heart of a leopard, acting as if Yun Qi is a pushover."

Yun Qi was burning with rage. Being one of the Four Young Masters of Huacheng, he had been a prominent figure for years, and now someone had the audacity to target his sister.

They clearly didn’t take him seriously.

"Lu Wei, one of your sister’s senior schoolmates."

"Good, I’ve got it. I’ll make him pay."

Having said that, Yun Qi turned to leave.

"He’s Lu Jie’s cousin," Li Feng added, and Yun Qi came to a stop.

"Lu Jie."

"Damn it, even so, I have to confront him about this. Bro, you’ll help me, right?"

"Take care of your sister here."

Li Feng patted Yun Qi on the shoulder.

"Bro, where are you going? I’ll go with you to find Lu Jie."

Li Feng waved his hand.

"Let’s talk when I get back."
