Chapter 101: Mane Dog Wayne

Chapter 101: Chapter 101: Mane Dog Wayne

Li Feng led Sofia away from Scarborough Market and emerged into the underground parking lot through the elevator.

Snap!

Suddenly, the sound of a lighter flickering caught their ears.

"At last, we’ve been waiting for you."

A white-skinned foreigner stepped out from a car, blocking the two, and Sofia couldn’t help but shudder as she looked at the man opposite her.

"Mane Wolf Wayne."

Sofia’s face turned pale as she involuntarily gripped Li Feng’s hands tightly.

"Is he the one who’s here to capture you?"

Sofia nodded and murmured a yes with her lips clenched.

"Yeah, Mane Wolf Wayne is a dog raised by Joseph, specialized in doing Joseph’s dirty work."

"He’s very dangerous, with countless lives on his hands. Master, it’s my fault for involving you. Try to find a way to escape later, he’s targeting me."

Sofia bravely said, biting her pearly white teeth.

"Oh!"

Li Feng lifted his eyes to the foreigner opposite him, who was at least 1.9 meters tall, wearing a long coat, with a big bearded face, a scar faintly visible on his cheek, and a pair of hawk-like eyes that were very uncomfortable to look at.

Mane Wolf Wayne also sized up Li Feng.

"Kid, if you don’t want to die, get lost now. I only want her."

Wayne spoke in broken Yan Country language.

Li Feng sneered coldly, pushing away Sofia’s grip on his arm. Sofia looked ashen, but her hand reached for her own pocket, determined not to let herself be captured.

Li Feng looked up at Wayne and hooked his finger provocatively.

"Mane Wolf, huh, you really do resemble one. But, I’m a professional at handling dogs."

Mane Wolf Wayne’s expression turned cold, not expecting this young man not only to stay put but to actually initiate a challenge.

Beside him, Sofia also looked up at Li Feng, incredulously.

"Master."

Sofia felt a surge of excitement, thinking that she was going to be abandoned; she hadn’t expected Li Feng to stand up for her.

"Sofia."

Just then, a few more foreigners appeared from behind, led by a blond, blue-eyed man of about Li Feng’s age, flanked by several white suit-wearing attendants.

"Joseph!"

Sofia turned her head to look at the newcomers, her face paling further.

"Ha, Sofia, you really made it hard for your cousin to find you. You even spent money on hiring someone to assassinate me. You are really something."

Joseph spoke with a cold laugh.

"But no worries, you are still my dear cousin, and I will still marry you."

Joseph then gestured, and the four bodyguards behind him promptly advanced to grab Sofia.

Li Feng clicked his tongue. To snatch someone right before his eyes, they really didn’t regard him as a threat.

As the saying goes, it was too late, it was fast.

The bodyguards didn’t take Li Feng seriously, but he swiftly stepped forward, instantly seizing a bodyguard’s wrist.

Crack.

Li Feng immediately dislocated the man’s wrist and kicked him in the lower body.

Thump.

The white bodyguard fell face-first to the ground, his prominent nose making intimate contact with the surface, as blood gushed out like a fountain.

Having successfully taken down one, Li Feng swung his hand in a round slap.

Slap, slap, slap.

A triple-slapping sound left the other three, still dazed, without time to react. Li Feng swept their legs out from under them, and they crashed to the ground.

"Heh, thinking of taking away my woman without asking me?"

Li Feng slung his arm around Sofia’s shoulder, embracing her, looking at the blond Joseph across from him with an arrogant stare.

Only then did Joseph take notice of this man.

"Remove your filthy hands, do you want to die?"

Li Feng sneered, and in Lansi Country language, he insulted Joseph directly: "Idiot, if you can, then bite me."

Joseph flew into a rage and gave an order to Mane Wolf: "Wayne, kill him."

Wayne was nothing more than Joseph’s dog, naturally following orders.

"This is your own doing."

Wayne said, pulling out a military dagger from his body. The gleaming blade flickered with a chilling light that was terrifying.

Li Feng parted from Sofia, "Move aside."

"The mane dog is very strong."

"Heh, your master is stronger."

"Believe me."

"Hmph, arrogant. You think you’re amazing just because you know a few kung fu moves."

Mane Dog Wayne sneered and took a large stride forward, pouncing towards Li Feng like a wild beast on the attack.

Li Feng let out a snort, his wrist turning to reveal a Chrysanthemum Coin in his hand.

The next second, he flicked his wrist.

The Chrysanthemum Coin shot towards Wayne’s eye socket.

Mane Dog Wayne reflexively swatted with his dagger.

With a clang, the coin was knocked away. Wayne’s murderous intent surged, seeing such a despicable tactic.

"Die."

Li Feng watched Wayne’s approach with an unchanged expression. The nearly two-meter-tall figure was like a wall, making Li Feng’s height of one meter eighty seem somewhat short.

Li Feng’s wrist flicked again.

Another Chrysanthemum Coin, this time aimed an inch below the knee.

Li Feng swiftly stepped aside as Wayne’s dagger swung down and missed, ready to twist his body and strike back with a reverse Kiss Throat.

But Wayne’s movements stiffened.

In a high-stakes fight, a miss by a fraction meant life or death.

Li Feng raised his hand to dodge the exhausted dagger and swept a Kiss Throat across Wayne’s neck.

Gurgle.

Blood sprayed wildly from Wayne’s neck as Li Feng twisted aside to avoid being splashed. He looked up at Joseph across from him.

"Joseph."

"What did you just call me?"

Li Feng’s mouth curved into a cold smile as he looked at Joseph, who trembled all over. He had never imagined that with four bodyguards and his top enforcer, Mane Dog, he would be the one killed instead.

Without thinking, Joseph turned and ran.

Li Feng snorted coldly and threw the dagger in his hand. It struck precisely in the center of Joseph’s back.

Li Feng turned to look at Sofia who still wore a look of disbelief.

"Does this count as getting a princess for nothing?"

Sofia had posted a reward in the underworld market.

Sofia came to her senses and rushed toward Li Feng, climbed around his waist like a sloth, and planted a kiss on his face.

"Thank you, master."

"I really love you to death. Shall we get a room?"

Sofia was overwhelmingly excited; for three years, she had been on the run seeking survival. Joseph loomed over her like a great mountain.

She had not expected such an outcome from her daring act of seeking survival.

Li Feng was a bit overwhelmed by Sofia’s enthusiasm and promptly drove away with her. Shortly after they left, several people affiliated with the market appeared in the underground marketplace.

"Damn it, they kill but won’t bury, leaving us to deal with the aftermath."

"Cut the chatter, get to work."

The entrance to the market was only a dozen meters away, an unavoidable task for them.

"Save me."

"Holy shit, this bastard isn’t dead."

"Save me, I’ll give you lots of money."

Joseph wasn’t dead. Li Feng’s dagger had been accurate but Joseph’s heart was situated on the side, sparing his life.

"Master, aren’t you going to sleep with me?"

Sofia was prepared to offer herself, but after getting the room, Li Feng didn’t stay: "I didn’t buy you to sleep with me. This is my number, let me know when you’ve bought a phone. I’ll tell you what to do."

"Oh."
