Chapter 481 - 481 490 Various Wills

481: Chapter 490 Various Wills 481: Chapter 490 Various Wills To understand that the master of the Three Realms is no trivial matter, in name, he reigns over all beings of the Three Realms; the Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother have been sealed by the Heavenly Dao’s first Saint, Hong Jun Daoist.

Putting it bluntly, where the Heavenly Emperor’s will extends, even the Western Lingshan must obey without the slightest dissent.

However, once the Jade Emperor was weak and forbearing, he also dared not command the Three Realms; but Ye Xuan was decidedly not the Jade Emperor—if he became the co-sovereign of the Three Realms and issued a Heavenly Emperor’s Dharma Decree to Lingshan, what should Duobao Tathagata do?

This concern was just one aspect, but what troubled Duobao Tathagata the most was that the Heavenly Sect Master, disregarding the thoughts of the other Saints, sealed Ye Xuan as the Three Realms Emperor in an extremely domineering private decision.

This also meant that the Sealing God Tribulation of yesteryear would once again be replayed.

The struggle for Daoist orthodoxy was significant, and without even thinking about it, Duobao Tathagata knew the Heavenly Sect Master was determined, viewing Ye Xuan as a key figure in the rise of the Jie Sect within the Three Realms.

As the most beloved disciple of the Heavenly Sect Master, Duobao Tathagata understood his teacher’s temperament all too well—he was a person who extremely protected his own.

Despite being a Saint with towering rage, the Saints were not supposed to intervene in the Sealing God Tribulation.

Yet, the Heavenly Sect Master, seeing his disciples being defeated in succession, either dying or getting injured, directly manifested in the Three Realms and, without regard for the Saints’ dignity, personally took action to eradicate the Chan Sect.

And this brought forth Yuanshi Tianzun and Daode Tianzun from retirement.

The two Great Saints joined forces to battle the Heavenly Sect Master, a fight that nearly shattered the Three Realms to pieces.

Subsequently, the Western Two Saints joined the fray.

Although the Heavenly Sect Master had the Immortal Slaying Array Map in hand and even set up the Great Formation that could exterminate Heaven and Earth, he still retreated in defeat, which has been his greatest affliction.

As the foremost disciple of the Heavenly Sect Master, Duobao Daoist knew his Master very well.

The enduring resentment from the Sealing God Tribulation had always been suppressed in the heart of the Heavenly Sect Master, and he feared that Ye Xuan becoming the Heavenly Emperor marked the beginning of a great calamity for Heaven and Earth.

“Amitabha,” lamented Duobao Tathagata, “What a Ye Xuan, what a Heavenly Emperor Ye, with the protection of Saints, even a poor monk like me cannot prevent you from ascending to this position of Heavenly Emperor.

I hope you can bear in mind Heaven’s will and seek the welfare of the Three Realms.

If you merely increase the bloodshed, even my teacher cannot save you.”

With a helpless shake of his head, Duobao Tathagata seemed to have already foreseen Ye Xuan’s future.

It was clear to Duobao Tathagata that Ye Xuan was not like the Jade Emperor.

Upon ascending to the position of the Heavenly Emperor, he was surely not going to be as weak and forbearing as the Jade Emperor had been.

The Three Realms would undoubtedly be destabilized because of him.

Although Ye Xuan’s ascension to Heavenly Emperor was supported by the Heavenly Sect Master, one must not forget that there were a total of six Saints in Heaven and Earth, and the Heavenly Sect Master was only one of them.

If Ye Xuan went too far and provoked the other Saints to emerge, his ultimate fate could only be death and the dissipation of his Dao.

Of course, Duobao Tathagata also had a deeper worry, but he suppressed this thought with great effort because merely thinking about it filled him with dread.

This worry was actually about the legend of the seventh Saint.

Pangu opened the sky; Hong Jun passed on the Dao.

In Heaven and Earth, there are a total of seven Saint Positions, as stated directly by Hong Jun Daoist.

Hong Jun Daoist merged with the Dao and represented the will of the Heavenly Dao, transcending beyond the ranking of Saints, outside the Three Realms, as an infinite Heavenly Dao Saint.

With the seven Saint Positions, Hong Jun Daoist bestowed Seven Hongmeng Purple Qi, also the key to attaining Saint status.

The Three Pure Ones founded their sect with the Hongmeng Purple Qi, achieving apotheosis, and the Western Two Saints, with their broad and far-reaching vows, converted and guided all Spirits, establishing Western Buddhism, also through the merit of the Hongmeng Purple Qi.

The sixth Saint, Nuwa, demonstrated great merit through her acts of Heavenly Mending and creating humans, thus becoming the sixth Saint by harnessing Hongmeng Purple Qi.

Yet beneath the Heavenly Dao, there are seven Saint Positions in total, with six Saints already emerged, but one still elusive, nor is the location of the seventh Hongmeng Purple Qi known.

Duobao Tathagata was afraid, fearing that the great calamity upon Heaven and Earth might give rise to the last Saint, and even more terrified that Ye Xuan might be the ultimate Saint in this world.

The Western Lingshan already harbored deep enmity with Ye Xuan.

As its master, he would naturally bear the brunt of this, and if Ye Xuan indeed turned out to be the final Saint of this world, Duobao Tathagata was bound for great peril.

The most pressing issue was that the position of the seventh Saint remained vacant; whether it be Quasi-Saints or significant figures from the Daluo Third Water Dividing Ridge, everyone coveted this ultimate Saint Position.

If Ye Xuan truly were that Heaven-Determined Saint, it would seal the path for all Daluo Golden Immortals and Quasi-Saints.

Pondering such an outcome left Duobao Tathagata restless, struck with a bone-chilling fear, as he silently prayed in his heart that Ye Xuan would not be that Heaven-Determined Saint.

Vast Primordial Land stretched boundless and infinite.

Primordial Ancient Beasts thundered across the earth, and ancient divine birds screeched through the Heavenly Vault, their timeless breath carrying the essence of the distant and unknown Primordial Land to those who felt it.

Sky-piercing giants, thrusting into the clouds.

Countless powerful individuals from the Witch Clan galloped through the mountains, tearing apart Primordial Ancient Beasts with their hands and combating ancient divine birds as they aspired to ascend the heavens; their shameless laughter echoed throughout the world, their domineering aura soaked in beast’s blood, violently blooming across this vast and desolate land.

This was the Ancestral Land of the Witch Clan; though situated within the Three Realms, it was isolated from them, protected by the Witch Clan Divine Technique that formed an impassable barrier—even Daluo Golden Immortals could not enter this sacred ground.

After the devastating war between the Witch Clan and Demons, with heavy casualties, the Witch Clan retreated to this ancestral land to recuperate over endless ages, preserving this land as their final sanctuary.

Atop a towering peak, a white jade palace stood firm, with a slender and graceful figure, aloof and isolated, standing at the summit gazing upon the Heavenly Vault.

“He… He has become the Heavenly Emperor?” the Guanghan Fairy murmured, her starry eyes revealing a tinge of joy.

“Xiao’e, stop thinking about him.

Even if he has the backing of the Heavenly Sect Master and steps into Daluo to slay the Jade Emperor, becoming the supreme ruler of the Three Realms, what of it?”

“Kua Fu, big brother!” Guanghan Fairy whispered softly, a trace of helplessness fleeting across her eyes.

Kua Fu approached from the sky, taking his place behind Guanghan Fairy, with a sigh, he said, “Xiao’e, though he has become the Heavenly Emperor, he’s now entangled in the strife of the Three Realms and has initiated the Infinite Calamity, which will ultimately lead to his downfall between Heaven and Earth.

Best not to involve yourself too deeply with him.”

Regrettably, Kua Fu’s advice did not stir any reaction from Guanghan Fairy; she simply stared blankly at the celestial vault above, as if gazing through the Witch Clan Ancient Land at Ye Xuan within the Heavenly Court.

Observing Guanghan Fairy in such a state, Kua Fu shook his head helplessly, “Da Yi is about to emerge from seclusion, and if he learns of your longings for Ye Xuan, he would certainly confront him in battle at the Heavenly Court.

Reflect on this yourself.”

Kua Fu left after speaking these words but failed to see the sorrowful look that crossed Guanghan Fairy’s eyes.

“Ye Xuan, if one day you can ascend to Quasi-Saint, only then can we hope to meet again.” Guanghan Fairy murmured with a bitter smile, her gaze growing increasingly distant.
