343: Chapter 342 Fragile Mortals (First Update) 343: Chapter 342 Fragile Mortals (First Update) Qingtian Town, central square.

Ordinary people were penned here like livestock, a dense crowd where one couldn’t see an end.

Cries like those of the old, weak, women, and children occasionally rang across the central square, composing a dirge of mortals between Heaven and Earth.

“Sect Master, all the people of Qingtian Town are here, please commence the Blood Sacrifice Technique.” Thousands of Cultivators kneeled down, their voices resounding like the vast ocean, echoing in all directions.

“Very well!”

Three Demonic Cultivators sat cross-legged in the void, their disciples all knelt in worship, and a crimson Spiritual Light spread in the void.

A grand Blood Array emerged, its brilliant blood-red Spiritual Light was seductive and dazzling, as if it intended to devour all living creatures.

“The Executioner is in position.”

“Slash!”

The light of the blades streaked past, and blood exploded, with heads falling onto the snowy ground.

“Father!”

“Mother!”

Heart-wrenching cries of agony rose among the ordinary people, filling the air with helplessness and despair.

Indeed, they were merely mortals, unable to resist the powerful Cultivators.

Although there was hatred in their hearts, they could only wait for slaughter like lambs.

“Kill the mortals first, then slaughter the Martial Artists, condense the Blood Elf Spirit of Heaven and Earth, and forge our Supreme Cultivation.”

The three Demonic Cultivators roared in the void, turning into blood-thirsty Demon Beasts with surging Spiritual Energy around them like tides.

“I’m fighting you!”

A mortal man stood up from the crowd, his eyes filled with tears and rage.

He wielded a firewood knife and slashed wildly at a Cultivator in front of him, his eyes bloodshot and filled with sorrow.

Thud, thud, thud!

Several horrific blood holes burst open on the mortal man’s body, and a Foundation Establishment Cultivator pulled back his steel knife, the sprayed blood stark and piercing!

Thump!

The mortal man fell at the feet of the Cultivator, his mouth continuously spewing a vast amount of blood foam.

His eyes dilated, but he struggled to get up, wanting to look at his wife and children one last time as his life came to an end.

“Father!”

“Husband!”

From behind the crowd, a woman and a child cried out, two figures, big and small, pushing through the crowded mass, staggering towards their loved one under the cold, merciless gazes of the Demonic Cultivators.

“Child… your mother, son… don’t… don’t come over…”

Blood mixed with shattered viscera continuously spilled from the mortal man’s mouth.

He watched the approaching mother and child, his voice intermittently breaking as a tear slowly trickled down his cheek.

His eyes wide open, he left this world filled with despair and sorrow.

“Father… wake up… wake up, please… I don’t want you to die…” The child wailed, lying atop the bloodied corpse of his father.

The woman, watching her husband lying in a pool of blood, let tears slowly stream down her face as she gazed at the countless heartless Cultivators, her face expressing frightful rage.

“I will kill you!”

Holding a hairpin in her hand, the frail woman wildly charged at a dozen Cultivators.

Thud, thud, thud!

Before the woman could get close, cold, sharp swords pierced her body.

As the swords were withdrawn, a vast amount of blood soaked the snow, stark and beautifully tragic.

“Mother!”

The child’s cries were hoarse, his small body collapsing on top of his parents, his eyes filled with a light of vengeance, almost tangible, as he glared at the Cultivators who had killed his parents.

“Lin… Lin’er… run fast!” Blood kept overflowing from the woman’s mouth, and her sorrowful, weak voice shattered hearts.

Over a dozen low-level cultivators cruelly smiled, but the swords raised high demonstrated their ruthless and fierce hearts.

“You owe me the lives of my parents!” A child clutched the pant leg of a cultivator, frantically biting into his leg.

With a gory sound,

the cold, merciless blade pierced the child’s heart, then flung his small body aside, killing the family of three instantly!

“You bunch of animals.”

In the crowd, Li Han’er, drenched in blood, bellowed in anguish, his eyes bloodshot, madly swinging his steel knife, creating a mournful blade light, charging toward the numerous cultivators.

“You’re seeking death.”

The scene enraged a cultivator who, with a terrifying palm strike, sent Li Han’er flying, spewing a torrent of blood from his mouth.

“Father.”

“Husband.”

“Child!”

“Han’er.”

A family of three called out in grief while the staggering figure of an old man made his way tremulously toward Li Han’er.

“Ye… Uncle Ye… go… go on.”

Li Han’er lay prostrate on the ground, his body cracked and bleeding profusely as he watched the old, faltering figure approaching, tears of desolation streaming from his eyes!

He hadn’t expected that Uncle Ye had followed him here, his eyes filled with despair, knowing that today, their family of four along with Uncle Ye, would all die unjustly here.

Bent over, the old, aged Ye Xuan leaned on a tree branch, his steps unsteady as he approached Li Han’er, his face sorrowful, and his hoarse, weak voice breaking hearts.

“Han’er… don’t be afraid… Uncle Ye is here to save you.”

A low-level cultivator leapt in front of Ye Xuan and kicked him flying.

“Old fool, tired of living, are you?”

“Uncle Ye!”

This scene made Li Han’er roar in anger, his eyes red as blood, unleashing endless potential, he turned into a streak of blade light, furiously pouncing on the cultivator.

With a grotesque sound,

Li Han’er’s face twisted, his eyes nearly splitting, his palms like two blades, viciously stabbed into the man’s chest, and as he continued to roar to the sky nonstop, the cultivator was torn in half, his blood and organs scattering on the ground, but even this could not stem Li Han’er’s desperate emotional agony.

Li Han’er, drenched in blood, dazedly approached Ye Xuan, looking at Ye Xuan’s pale, bloodless face; he collapsed to his knees, tears uncontrollably flowing.

“Ye… Uncle Ye… Han’er failed to protect you… I’m sorry… I’m sorry!” Li Han’er clenched his fists, tears of blood streaming from his tiger eyes, a profoundly wretched sight.

“Han’er!”

With a voice as soft as a mosquito, breath as faint as a thread, Ye Xuan slowly opened his eyes, seemingly approaching the end of his life, possibly dying amid the cold winds of heaven and earth.

Boom!

A terrifying giant palm struck, directly blasting Li Han’er away!

Step—step—step.

A robed youth walked leisurely toward Li Han’er, his large feet stepping on Li Han’er’s skull, continuously grinding it.

“You pitiful ant, I didn’t kill you before because I was considering your vigorous blood energy, but daring to slaughter my sect’s people in front of me, it seems you wish to end your own life quickly?”
