Urban Plundering: I Corrupted The System!
Chapter 492 - 492: Billion YEARS Old Being

Parker moved, and space cracked like broken glass around him. He could see everything in crystal clarity—the sword piercing Tessa's heart, her life bleeding away, the impossibility of saving her even with his speed because the blade was already there, already ending everything that mattered.

"Really? Has your love for her blinded your eyes and judgment too, Oh Prince of Existence?" the entity asked with amusement that felt like reality bending around cosmic jokes.

Reality cracked again, and everything shifted.

"Hwahahahaha..."

The voice was now distinctly feminine, laughter that carried eons of satisfaction and cosmic victory. As she laughed, like a veil being lifted from their eyes, everything returned to normal. Where Tessa had stood dying, she now stood whole and unharmed. Whisper was fine. Even Aleric stood exactly where he'd been before the entire deadly charade began.

"Finally, fucking finally!" the entity exclaimed with glee that made dimensions tremble. "Who knew it would take million years and using your woman for you to finally fall for my illusions, Oh Prince of Existence!"

Parker sighed.

The pressure that had been holding everyone down disappeared instantly as that single breath carried away cosmic authority like morning mist. Everyone slowly rose to their feet, finally able to take in the being who'd just unmade reality and remade it with his emotions.

He was the most beautiful thing any of them had ever seen.

White hair that seemed to catch light that didn't exist, features that suggested Asian heritage while somehow transcending any earthly ethnicity entirely. He looked to be in his teens, but his presence carried the weight of eons. He was dressed casually but formally—the kind of effortless elegance that came from beings who existed beyond the concept of trying to impress anyone.

He looked like someone had taken the very concept of existence and given it human form, then dressed it for a dinner party that might reshape reality.

"That was reckless of me..." he muttered, his voice carrying undertones that made everyone's souls hum in recognition of fundamental truth.

"Come on, give me a win and take your L, Oh Prince of Existence!" the entity exclaimed with the enthusiasm of someone who'd just achieved the impossible. "I managed to fool you! Millions! Millions of years is what it took me to do this, Oh Prince of Existence. Say it—say that word!"

Parker sighed again, then walked to his woman with the kind of focused intensity that made everyone else fade into background noise. He pulled Tessa into his arms like she was the only real thing in a universe of illusions.

She immediately pulled away from the embrace just far enough to kiss him, their lips meeting with the desperate intensity of people who'd thought they'd lost everything. The kiss was deep, consuming, complete—Tessa clinging to him like he was her anchor to existence itself, pressing herself against him like she could merge their very beings through will alone.

He held her waist with enough strength to leave fingerprints on reality, his hands shaking slightly with the aftershock of cosmic terror at almost losing her.

"Who a—" Aleric started to shout, his face purple with rage and confusion.

"Shhh!" The entity lifted him telekinetically and threw him across the ballroom like he weighed less than air. "Can't you see? Who taught you manners? You don't ruin reunions."

After a minute that felt like eternity, Tessa pulled away from the kiss but immediately wrapped him in another embrace, burying her face against his chest. He stroked her hair with infinite tenderness and kissed the top of her head, his entire being radiating the kind of relief that came from discovering the universe hadn't actually ended.

Then he turned to face the entity.

"Okay, you win," That's when a new voice cut through the ballroom's tension. "We missed all the fun, didn't we?"

Maya and Zhang Ruoyun led the others through what had probably been a wall before Parker's arrival created more convenient entrances. The collective gasps from the ballroom guests were audible as they took in the impossibly beautiful women whose every step made space itself twitch with barely contained power.

But the recognition that rippled through the crowd focused on someone else entirely.

"Robert Blackwood?" someone whispered in shock.

He was there, holding hands with what was clearly his daughter, looking exactly like the devastatingly handsome man who'd disappeared from public view when his company fell during that infamous party scandal. But compared to the being holding Tessa, even Robert's legendary attractiveness seemed mundane.

Maya and Zhang Ruoyun moved with the kind of casual grace that suggested they could reshape reality as easily as breathing, their beauty so profound it made several people forget how to think properly.

Suddenly space twitched again, and a portal opened with the precision of corporate efficiency. Helena stepped through like she was entering a boardroom rather than the aftermath of cosmic psychological warfare.

Even Ere padded through, though her presence as a magical cat somehow seemed perfectly normal compared to everything else happening.

"No princess, Maya, not you!" the entity said, her presence still a mystery to everyone including Parker's family. "I want him!" She pointed directly at Parker. "Oh Prince of Existence, admit my illusions fooled you. Just this once, admit your first defeat. It took me millions of years!"

"You. Win." Parker said, still holding Tessa like she might disappear if he loosened his grip. "But why involve my woman? Do you wish to die?"

The words were soft, so soft they felt like whispers, but they made everyone's souls hum in recognition of fundamental authority. To the entity, however, they carried the weight of absolute finality.

She took several steps back and went to her knees instantly, terror replacing her previous amusement.

"Oh, Prince of Existence! I dare not harm your own! I know the rules and I didn't dare lay a finger on her!" she said, fear making her voice shake like autumn leaves.

Everyone stared in shock. This cosmic being who'd just orchestrated reality-bending illusions was on her knees? Why had she started this when she was clearly terrified? What was happening?

But Maya, Helena and Zhang Ruoyun understood immediately. That voice wasn't just Parker talking—it was Existence itself speaking through him. The Prince of Existence. And no matter how powerful someone might be, everyone who understood what Existence meant knew when to bow when the Prince spoke unlike oblivious the mundane humans and Olympian gods.

She might be powerful enough to destroy worlds, multiverses, entire realities as she pleased, and the Nyxliths wouldn't kill her for it. But when you touched the Nyxliths directly, only death awaited, no matter who you were. Many had tested this theory.

One was a being who could destroy realities with a wave of his hand—until that wave nearly killed one of Parker's women. That's when everyone in existence realized that being was still an ant in the eyes of true authority.

You could challenge Parker himself if you could manage it, but not his women or anyone in his family.

The Only Rule.

It was called The Only Rule that not even his sisters or mother would dare to break.

"Then?" Parker asked, his being relaxing as the authority of Existence dispersed like morning mist.

The woman stood up with her usual vibrant energy, acting like she'd never been on her knees at all.

"Princess..." she said, beginning to circle Maya with predatory interest. "Do you perhaps know why I'm here?"

"First off, I'm not a princess!" Maya said with the kind of patience that suggested this wasn't the first time she'd had this conversation.

"Hahahaha~" the entity laughed with genuine delight. "Oh, this is rich! This is my first time hearing it directly—the Princess, Daughter of THEY, denying who she was!"

The ballroom went dead silent.

Everyone—and that included Tessa, the mundane humans, even people who'd thought they understood cosmic politics—stared at Maya in complete shock. Thanks to Nyxavere's livestreaming, everyone now knew who THEY were, at least the cosmic parasites that had been manipulating divine blessings.

Everyone took steps back, even Annabelle and Robert. Helena and Zhang Ruoyun sighed and looked at Parker with wide-eyed recognition of how bad this situation had just become.

Someone who actually knew what Maya was had appeared. That meant this being was at least two billion years old, because that secret was older than most cosmic civilizations.

"You're what, Maya?"
