The male and female cultivators’ faces showed subtle changes as they locked eyes once more, as though they had come to some sort of tacit agreement in that gaze.

The male cultivator spoke up, "Feel free to search, we won’t interfere."

The female cultivator added, "Like we said, we’re just settling a past score. What’s this about finding something?"

Qi Wuchang pretended to fly downward, and the couple’s eyes carried a few strange glimpses, but they did not stop him.

Wary of the two joining forces to attack him, Qi Wuchang kept an eye on them, and seeing that they did not block his way but instead wore complicated expressions, he felt a chill in his heart and stopped descending further.

The male cultivator from Lingmiao Mountain laughed and said, "Didn’t you want to search carefully? Why have you stopped? We’ve not hindered you."

Qi Wuchang turned his head and called out towards the horizon, "Bingbing, bring them over."

The people who had been watching from a distance hurried over.

As Qi Wuchang spoke, his eyes fell on the couple, and he noted they still did not intervene, yet their looks were quite nuanced, almost expectant.

This sound directly transmitted through the white mist, reaching the Sky Dome, and entered the ears of the three powerhouses above.
