Chapter 1821: Chapter 1841: The Future Black Dragon King_1

The golden-clad man’s body erupted with golden light as he reached out towards Ao Yanjiang.

A golden dragon claw appeared in midair, colliding with the black dragon claw in front of it, shattering into pieces in the collision.

The golden dragon claw shattered inch by inch.

The black claw remained as steady as a rock, advancing further, not swiftly, but with an unyielding and overbearing resolve.

The golden-clad man’s face was filled with terror as he exclaimed, "Heavenly Immortal Realm!"

All the Dragon Clan members in the hall watched Ao Yanjiang, their gaze filled with awe.

Rumors had previously circulated that Ao Yanjiang was in seclusion and everyone was guessing whether he was attempting to break into the Heavenly Immortal Realm. Seeing him here, however, everyone assumed that he had not yet broken through the realm, given his short time in seclusion.

However, Ao Yanjiang declared his successful breakthrough into the Heavenly Immortal Realm with a forceful strike.

Many in the Dragon Clan had reached the Heavenly Immortal Realm after years of endurance, but for the young Ao Yanjiang to have reached this stage was truly terrifying.

The black dragon claw continued to push farther, clutching the golden-clad man, destroying the golden protective shield around him and flinging it outside.

The man in the golden clothing was directly hurled to the center of the majestic hall, before sliding a distance and finally coming to a halt.

Ao Yanjiang broke the golden-clad man’s defenses, yet didn’t touch anyone else nearby; even the stone tables and chairs nearby remained intact, showcasing his remarkable strength and precision control.

Domineering!

The phrase involuntarily surfaced in everyone’s mind, making their gaze towards Ao Yanjiang a blend of homage and admiration.

No wonder he could be called the Black Dragon Prince for entering the Heavenly Immortal Realm so young!

Given a little more time, he could very likely be the new Black Dragon King.

If anyone could unify the Dragon Clan and bring them together again, it would probably be the Black Dragon Prince, Ao Yanjiang.

The man in golden clothes climbed back onto his feet, his face reddened. The gazes around him made him uncomfortable, but the huge disparity in their power made him dare not provoke Ao Yanjiang again.

Ao Yanjiang’s attack was aimed to simply knock him off, showing mercy. If it was a full-blown attack, he would have been seriously injured if not dead.

There is an astronomical gap between being at the peak of the Golden Immortal stage and the early stage of Heavenly Immortal, although it seems like the realms are just one step apart.

Of all mortal cultivators in the world, countless are Golden Immortals, but only a handful can cross over the threshold.

Ao Yanjiang remained calm, glanced at the man in golden clothing, and took his seat.

The golden-clad man clenched his teeth and sat at an empty seat at the lower end.

With the end of the incident, vitality returned to the grand hall. Everyone chatted in low voices, and the subject of their conversations was mostly around Ao Yanjiang.

Ao Yanjiang was seated opposite Lin Chen and looked flatly at Lin Chen. He suddenly asked, "Special Envoy Lin, what brings you to the Dragon Clan this time?"

Lin Chen said with a laugh, "I am here to meet the Clan Chiefs in hopes that the Dragon Clan will maintain its longstanding neutrality and not intervene in the war between the Immortal Palace and the Heavenly Dao Alliance."

Ao Yanjiang’s eyebrows furrowed slightly, he nodded, closed his eyes and spoke no more.

Shortly after, all the seats were taken, and the grand hall echoed with the soft sound of footsteps.

Everyone settled down, straightened up, and turned their heads towards the passageway.

A group of handmaidens appeared in the passageway, followed by an old man. He was clad in a simple white robe and had no adornments on him. He looked every bit like a friendly neighbor as he walked up to the grand hall and sat on the golden chair.

All members of the Dragon Clan in the hall stood up and kneeled down in reverence, shouting in unison, "Greetings, Ancestral Master!"

Lin Chen also stood up, he did not kneel but bowed and greeted in junior’s respect.

The old man was naturally the Ancestral Dragon, he gestured with a smile, "Everyone, rise. While you are here, consider it home. Be at ease, there’s no need for formalities."

Everyone got up and sat upright, including the Black Dragon Prince, Ao Yanjiang.

This was the Dragon Clan Ancestor, not just anyone had the opportunity to meet!

The Ancestral Dragon’s gaze landed on Lin Chen, as he said, "Guest of the Immortal Palace, please sit down. My place usually has the Dragon Clan disciples coming and going, but it’s the first time we’ve had a human."

Lin Chen paid his respects and asked, "Did the elder know about the unexpected incident that occurred during the opening process of the Sky Door?"

The Ancestral Dragon laughed, "Yes, there was a minor problem. I am working on resolving it. Everyone, don’t panic, I will ensure everyone leaves safely later, no need to worry about being stranded here."

Working on a solution?

A glimmer of unease came over Lin Chen. With the Ancestral Dragon’s status in the holy land approaching that of a deity, it would seem that nothing should be too difficult for him. However, from his tone, it seemed that it was not as simple or as easily resolved as it appeared.

"Thank you, Elder!"

The Ancestral Dragon laughed, "You are here through no fault of your own. As the host, I have a duty to solve this problem. But for now, there’s no hurry. Since you are here, let me offer you the hospitality you deserve. Let’s drink first..."
