Chu Yue, at a short distance, replied, "Yes, I sensed a faint fishy odor in the entire region. But as we have been walking, the scent is becoming more potent. This odor doesn’t seem to be naturally formed. Could it be from a living creature?"

Lin Chen replied, "That reminds me of something..."

Chu Yue turned his head, "What?"

Lin Chen nodded, "I read about it in a book, but I can’t remember which book. It even describes a case. There’s an aquatic beast called Ghost Face Eel. It has an especially potent fishy scent which is one of the favorite foods of the Seven-colored Jade Rhinoceros."

Chu Yue’s eyes sparkled, "You mean, find the source of this fishy smell, kill it and use it as bait to allure the Seven-colored Jade Rhinoceros?"

Lin Chen nodded, "Yes, although it’s not clear which beast is producing this scent, a stench this strong definitely can spread far. This mist is too dense. If it’s hiding somewhere, we might not notice it, even if we passed it closely."

"But if we haul the potent bait passed its hiding spot, it definitely can smell it and perhaps come to us seeking food."

Chu Yue laughed, "This is a good idea. Let’s go and see what creature is producing such a strong stench."
