At five in the afternoon, Lin Chen went down to the parking garage and got into the red Porsche driven by Gu Yuexi. His eyes brightened at the sight of her.

Gu Yuexi remained calm and steady, "Today’s my birthday, and I originally wanted to find you for dinner. But before I got out of the car, a friend called me saying that they had prepared a surprise for me and asked me to hurry over, so I just left. I’ll come find you later."

Chu Jiaxue responded with an "Oh" and laughed, "I’ve been so busy lately that I forgot about your birthday. I’m so sorry. Happy birthday, and I’ll make it up to you with a gift later!"
