Lin Chen pulled up a chair and joined the gossiping crowd, "You know everything, come on, let’s gossip."

Just before getting off work, Lin Chen suddenly received a phone call from Wen Qiaoqiao.

"Brother Lin, do you have time tonight?"

Lin Chen answered, "I’m treating my colleagues to dinner tonight. What’s up, is there something?"

Wen Qiaoqiao’s voice sounded disappointed, "Nothing really, it’s just that me and Xinran wanted to invite you to dinner. Since you’re busy, let’s do it another time."

Lin Chen thought for a moment and said, "Why don’t you join us?"

Wen Qiaoqiao asked cautiously, "Would that be inconvenient?"

Lin Chen laughed, "What’s inconvenient about it? It’s my treat, just come."

After getting off work, everyone drove to the restaurant. Wen Qiaoqiao and Han Xinran arrived just as they sat down.

Wen Qiaoqiao’s face turned bright red, even reaching her earlobes. Though she felt embarrassed, there was a hint of inexplicable joy in her heart.

The dinner party began with Wen Qiaoqiao drinking soy milk and keeping a quiet, ladylike demeanor. In contrast, Han Xinran acted like a seasoned socialite, drinking with everyone and playing drinking games, seamlessly blending in with the group.

Lin Chen watched in amazement as these two women with vastly different personalities became close friends.

After having a lively hot pot meal, everyone found a nearby KTV, called for a large private room, and continued drinking and having fun.

Midway through drinking, Lin Chen went to the bathroom. When he came out, he didn’t see Wen Qiaoqiao and Han Xinran, so he asked, "Where are they?"

Wang Li replied, "They went to the bathroom."

"Oh."

Lin Chen sat down, drank for a while, and realized that the two still hadn’t returned, making him a bit worried. He got up and went outside.

As he walked toward the bathroom, Han Xinran’s voice suddenly came from ahead.
