“Suit yourself, I’m always ready.” After saying that, Qin Han took out his phone and called Anlong.

When the call connected, Feng Lingdu’s voice came through, “Isn’t this Dr. Qin?”

“Where’s Anlong?” Qin Han asked in slight surprise.

“Drinking,” Feng Lingdu said with a laugh.

Upon hearing this, Qin Han laughed, “You two have quite a leisurely time.”

“Nowadays, Anlong’s tasks are mostly handled by others. I enjoy the leisure.” Anlong took over the call and said, “Is there something wrong?”

Anlong and Qin Han had been acquainted for years, and naturally, Anlong knew Qin Han wouldn’t call without reason.

“Do you know the Red Pavilion?” Qin Han asked casually.

Anlong heard this, frowned, and said, “Why are you getting involved with that crazy Red Pavilion?”

“Is the Red Pavilion that strong?” Qin Han asked quizzically.

“Not only strong but crazy!” Anlong sighed and said, “If reconciliation is possible, it’s better not to conflict with them.”

“Reconciliation isn’t possible because they’re hunting Amu!” Qin Han spoke calmly.

Anlong was stunned upon hearing this and asked in shock, “Why are they after Amu?”

“Amu is part of the Red Pavilion but wants to leave; however, Red Pavilion won’t agree!” Qin Han explained again.

“That shouldn’t be the case. Red Pavilion isn’t an ordinary assassin organization, but they wouldn’t stop a retiree from leaving!” Anlong expressed confusion.

“Because he saw the true face of the Red Pavilion’s leader.” Qin Han said casually.

Upon hearing Qin Han’s words, Anlong realized and said, “No wonder! Amu saw that woman’s face, of course she wouldn’t let him leave. I’m puzzled that woman has many methods, surely Amu couldn’t have left the Red Pavilion’s premises.”

“The leader of the Red Pavilion is a woman?” Qin Han was somewhat surprised and glanced at Amu, who nodded.

“How strong is their leader?” Qin Han asked.

Anlong chuckled, “I don’t know. I’ve never seen her in action. Just wait for my call!”

After hanging up, Qin Han looked at Amu and asked, “How did you escape?”

“I didn’t return after completing the mission this time.” Amu said.

Qin Han gave Amu a deep look and said, “You know the Red Pavilion leader’s true identity. Why has she spared your life for so long?”

After Qin Han spoke, Zhong Yuanliang also looked at Amu with puzzlement, especially Zhong Yuanliang.

“I promised on my honor not to spread the word, so the issue was resolved, though I owe her a favor.”

Qin Han scoffed, “On your honor? Does this Red Pavilion leader have poor eyesight?”

“Dr. Qin, that’s unfair. I went through a lot to handle this for you, and you’re not thankful?” Anlong said grumpily on the phone.

“No, this issue is Amu’s, not mine.” Qin Han said a bit cheekily.

Anlong rolled his eyes and said, “Isn’t Amu your man?”

“So, it’s confirmed you’ve settled things with the Red Pavilion?” Qin Han asked again.

“Relax, it’s all sorted!” Anlong confirmed.

“Then I’ll let Wu Shang return, also help them get the people out.” Qin Han said calmly.

Anlong heard this, surprised, and said, “What did you do?”

“Killed one of them, seems to be a Red Pavilion vice envoy, and Wu Shang went to capture their people.” Qin Han said casually.

Upon hearing Qin Han’s words, Anlong said grumpily, “Why didn’t you mention this earlier?”

“You didn’t ask!” Qin Han said.

“Luckily, it’s only a deputy envoy, not a big issue, but don’t touch the remaining people.” Anlong advised.
